In the empty back streets, a suspicious masked man and the Imperial Admiral clashed in a silent staredown for over 10 seconds.

Nalun shifted his gaze away first and said in a solemn tone: “I can explain.”

Sirius looked at him quietly.

Nalun: “……” What to do?

He can’t win!

Right now, he really wished that time could rewind to one minute ago.

“I, I……”

“If you want to pull out the Animal Protection Society……” Sirius’s expression was very serious: “Then I have to tell you regretfully that the Animal Protection Society doesn’t have an insect branch.”

Obviously. He randomly fabricated that.

Eyes spinning, Nalun said in a small voice: “This is only a harmless prank. I know there’s no insect branch.”

These words really sounded very lacking in confidence.

Sirius stared at him.

Nalun gazed back and said in an indignant tone: “Insects are also animals! So how come they only have a nonessential existence in the Animal society’s protection list? That’s not fair!”

Sirius: “…….”

“I am someone who loves insects. Every insect has the right to live. You guys can’t imprison it just because it alarmed someone! Just think about those wild cats that scratch people. Would you guys also eliminate them due to that?” Nalun’s display was very emotional. Speaking to the end, his voice became extremely loud and resounding, making people wonder if the face under the mask had also progressively flushed red vehemently. He seemed very much like an honorable warrior, criticizing injustice!

……

“You guys have no rights to do this!” A sonorous and powerful concluding remark.

Passionate statements flying out, sentence by sentence, Sirius accepted them face on with a calm and tranquil expression.

“So this is the reason why you knocked out the guards and privately released a dangerous animal?”

The emotionally riled up Nalun instantly choked. After a long time, he finally squeezed out: “It’s not dangerous.”

“I only want to create a big commotion, so more people can pay attention to the Insects. I have no evil intention…… Please don’t arrest me.”

This sounded a bit pitiful.

Nalun hung his head low, like he was powerless to resist.

Expression untouched, Sirius said: “Keep these words for the judges to hear. Come with me.”

“……” So the grand speech that he spent great effort expressing… actually didn’t do anything at all?

Would Nalun leave with Sirius just like this?

Of course not!

He pretended to abandon resistance and cooperate with the investigation, looking like a terrified man, who just realized the severity of the crime he had committed.

The brief moment as Sirius turned, Nalun seized the opportunity to swiftly put distance between the two of them and run off.

Almost at the same time, Sirius grasped his shoulder and went to detain him. Nalun ducked and bent down, sliding off the hand on his shoulder. Then he viciously slammed into Sirius with the force of his whole body.

Sirius didn’t move away. In the instant Nalun rammed over, he followed the momentum and restrained Nalun against his chest. The next second, he took a right step forward and pressed the two of them into the wall. He even used his own body to stop Nalun’s struggles.

Sure enough, he couldn’t win! Nalun yelled internally in anguish.

Regardless of strength, speed, or combat experience, the well-pampered his highness, the Honored Prince, was completely no match for the Imperial Admiral. At this very moment, other than using hostile eyes to glare at Sirius, what else could he do?

“Please let me go……”

Nalun suppressed the humiliation and pretended to be pitiful.

A hard, cold wall behind him, an unshakeable enemy before him, Nalun was squeezed in between, unable to move at all. He was also in a state of high alert, terrified that Sirius would take the opportunity to take off his mask.

The two people’s bodies pressed up against each other, breaths intermingling, silently staring at each other respectively.

A puzzled expression flashed across Sirius’s face.

Just as Nalun was about to make a final desperate struggle, Sirius suddenly lowered his head. Maintaining the restraining posture, he slowly leaned closer to Nalun.

Seeing that handsome face, which deceived the hearts of hundreds and thousands of young men and women, moving closer to himself, Nalun held his breath.

“The smell of AiJia grass.” Sirius’s voice sounded next to Nalun’s ear. A slightly hot breath blew past his earlobe. With a rather amused tone, Sirius said: “This is how you worship me, follow me…… and adore me?”

Nalun blinked in bewilderment.

Why did these words… sound a bit familiar?

Sirius’s head turned towards Nalun’s neck: “The highest quality medicinal bath powder from the Onsen clubhouse. After using it, the body will carry the faint smell of AiJia grass, which only dissipates after a few days…… I never imagined we’d meet again this quickly.”

Nalun remained in silent confusion for a moment. Medicinal bath powder?

Oh. Yesterday night when he took a bath, he couldn’t resist using the package that Andrew gave him.

Nalun: “……”

Clearly his mood has already sunk into the abyss, so why has the world become so colorful and vivid?

Nalun turned his eyes and discovered that it’s because his sunglasses were removed.

Sirius asked: “Do you like Mist Insects?”

Nalun: “What?”

Sirius paused for a moment before finally saying: “An insect from Planet Huam. It’s very famous.”

Nalun shot over a puzzled look. What did that have anything to do with him?

“I thought you’d know.”

Nalun felt completely unfathomable. Why did he need to know bugs? Suddenly, his face stiffened. He abruptly recalled that right now, he was a righteous warrior, who was willing to brave danger for the sake of protecting insect rights. How could he not know the ‘very famous’ Mist Insect!

“Of course I know. I just don’t understand why you suddenly mentioned it.”

He remedied briefly to rescue his character setting. However, Sirius already entered the next subject of conversation.

Sirius said: “You seem very much like a Mist Insect.”

Nalun: “……” Why can’t I understand.

Sirius: “Mist Insect, Metal-devouring Insect, Giant Mountain Insect. You Insectoids have too many different varieties…… let me guess, which type you are.”

Wait a second, was there some kind of misunderstanding here?

Nalun said sincerely: “I’m none of them.”

Sirius clearly didn’t believe him. Maintaining the same posture, he started examining Nalun at close distance: “This thing is a bit of a hindrance.”

–He pointed at the mask.

Nalun instantly tensed up.

“Um……” A voice came from behind them; Diya awkwardly waved his hand: “You guys continue, continue. I was just passing by.”

The two people pressed against the wall fell silent in unison.

Nalun pushed against the certain person on top of him and said indignantly: “I’d rather die than be humiliated. I won’t yield to you!”

Diya: “……” Was Sirius using force here? He was shocked.

The corner of his mouth twitching, Sirius loosened his strength slightly. The man in his arms immediately took the chance to slip out and put some distance between them. He looked warily at Sirius.

The gaze was filled with unspoken words, extremely complicated. One glance was enough to tell that there was a story here. Diya rubbed his chin, deep in thought.

Lately Sirius has had quite the luck with romance, huh? First, it was that unkempt shut-in who confessed to him in front of the crowd yesterday. Then it was this guy with a completely covered face today. The difference was that the former had an unrequited love towards his boss. The latter was possibly someone Sirius took a fancy to.

If this was placed in a drama, Sirius would be that lucky winner in life who is ‘loved and loves’.
