Alida felt guilty. Ever since he learned that Lan Jia had ulterior motives, he sank into an indescribable depression, so much that he basically was in no mood to take care of himself.

The itchiness that he felt right now might be because he hasn’t bathed in several days?

Alida asked: “Where’s Lan Jia?”

“Escaped again.” Nalun said: “Don’t worry. When he gets captured, I’ll be sure to treat him well.”

Alida: “Treat him well?”

Nalun: “Naturally. He deceived you. So he must pay the price.”

Alida rejected this proposal and expressed: “He didn’t succeed in his attempt with me anyways.”

Nalun said: “Alida, acting like this would only encourage that treacherous villain.”

Alida continued to maintain his own opinion on this. His words overtly and subtly revealed a general idea, which was that although his feelings were tricked, he didn’t lose out in certain areas, and even gained a bit.

Nalun: “……” He didn’t really want to continue discussing this.

Alida let out a hiss.

Nalun: “What is it?”

The big guy shook his head and smiled without saying anything.

— If such a clean freak like Nalun knew that he might have fleas on him, which seemed to have just bitten him. Then they might be facing a huge challenge to their friendship.

Even though he didn’t divulge the matter that he had grown ‘fleas’, Nalun couldn’t have continued to converse with Alida anyways. Because after the affairs were settled, Sirius beeped the horn outside to express that he had returned from fetching the car.

Then, Alida watched wide eyed as his good friend happily got into his rival’s car once again. Through the rolled-down car window, he even saw Sirius lean over to help his friend put on the seat belt.

Alida: “……”

At this time, Sirius raised his head and looked in Alida’s direction. The Imperial Admiral’s cold and handsome face didn’t have any expression on it. Even though not long ago, Nalun had just told Alida that he had developed a brand new friendship with Sirius. Alida really couldn’t convince himself that this eye expression was friendly.

Nalun seemed to have said something. Sirius’s brows relaxed. His expression turned gentle and his gaze also shifted away.

Alida: “……”

Was this the so-called ‘behaving one way outwardly, and another in the back’?

On the surface, he had already reconciled with Nalun, but in reality, he harbored evil intentions– just waiting for his prey to relax their guard and then give a swift fatal strike?

The more Alida thought about this, the more he was convinced this was how it was. A heavy sense of worry overflowed from his heart; he worried that his good friend was being deceived.

Perhaps he should think of a plan to test things out, but……

“Hss!”

This flea really had a very powerful bite. He needed to return and clean up first.

As he contemplated, the car that the two people were in swiftly left Xier Street. Alida slowly realized in the aftermath: he seemed to have been forced here in Sirius’s car?

So how was he supposed to return?!

Nalun didn’t actually realize that he had abandoned his little buddy to the chaotic Xier Street. After he returned to the Charvey Estate, it was close to meal time.

Thus he invited out of politeness: “Come inside?”

Sirius immediately said: “Alright.”

Nalun: “……” No, he was only asking.

However, Sirius seemed to be taking it for real. He happily unbuckled his safety belt. As he prepared to get out of the car, he said awkwardly: “However, I look somewhat embarrassing right now.” He saw himself in the rearview mirror.

He just experienced a battle. Clearly, he didn’t want to visit the Charvey family casually just like this.

Nalun thought: Then don’t go!

Sirius then said: “We’re similar in shape. How about entering through the side door first and bringing me to get a change of clothes.”

Nalun fell silent.

Sirius seemed somewhat hurt: “Nalun?”

Nalun said: “Alright. Follow me.”

Sirius got off the car happily and followed Nalun to the side door.

The servants at the front door: “……”

They were just getting ready to step forth and welcome their master home. But they seemed to have seen a rather incredulous scene– their virtuous and honest, little Honored Prince seemed to be secretly sneaking someone home?

The Charvey Estate actually wasn’t that big. It didn’t have too many empty rooms or luxurious decorations. The back was an elegant courtyard. Passing through the long corridor and walking a little more inside was Nalun’s residence.

“Sit here for a while first. I will go pick out a few garments for you.”

After Nalun settled Sirius on the sofa, he planned to flip through the wardrobe himself. His wardrobe was filled with the same kind of customized suits and shirts. There were also a few sleepwear and uniforms that suited the Honored Prince…… huh?

“Bang!”

He swiftly shut the wardrobe door.

Sirius peeked his head over and asked curiously: “What’s the matter?”

Nalun used his body to block the wardrobe: “It’s nothing. You just sit well.”

Duo Ni’s outfit was placed inside.

For a moment, he was somewhat nervous.

Good thing Sirius didn’t seem to have noticed anything strange and didn’t continue to peek in his direction. Nalun opened the wardrobe again and pulled out a few outfits. Although the two people’s figures didn’t differ much, there were still differences. Sirius should be a little taller and bigger than him. Therefore, the garments that he found weren’t very form fitting for him.

“My shirt also got dirty.”

Nalun’s hand shook. He turned his head and discovered that Sirius was already standing behind him.

Not only this, he even took off his outer coat. The shirt inside was a light color. Closeup, Nalun can see brown bloodstain on the front of the shirt.

Nalun nodded his head and swiftly pulled out a vest. Then he slammed the door closed with a ‘bang’.

Sirius smiled.

— Already saw it.

“Ah, here I thought you’d find me a shirt, or something else. I hear the Honored Prince’s clothes are all tailored by great masters?”

Nalun shook his head: “Occasionally I also shop online.”

Sirius: “……”

Nalun expressed: “The only flaw is that the size is inconsistent. These aren’t very fitting for me.”

He examined Sirius’s figure with his eyes and then nodded his head: “It should be perfect for you to wear.”

Therefore, Sirius put on the vest right in front of him. He discovered that it just happened to fit him snuggly and also perfectly blocked the stain on his shirt.

Nalun expressed his approval with satisfaction.

“Perhaps I should change my poor rating of this store. It looks like the vest is actually pretty good.”

Sirius: “……”

Nalun suddenly became zealous. He told Sirius to sit back onto the sofa and not bother him. Then, he completely dove into his wardrobe and picked up a pair of slacks suspected to have been ‘bought online’ and carried it over to Sirius.

“Try this.”

Visiting for the first time and already taking off his pants right out in the open… The Admiral’s mood was hard to describe.

Nalun didn’t actually plan to observe the process of someone changing clothes. He turned and walked into an inner room and poured a cup of water. Thinking briefly, he then went to the restroom to wash his face. The extremely fastidious Nalun felt like his body was covered in dust and dirt. Therefore, he opened his cuffs, rolled up his sleeves, and started washing meticulously.

Estimating that Sirius should have finished changing clothes, he finally walked out slowly again.

Then, he encountered a pair of ice-cold eyes.

“Sit.”

The man wearing golden framed glasses spat out a word emotionlessly.

Nalun was stunned.

“What, not happy at seeing me back?”

Nalun shook his head.

Yaming Charvey. His older brother, whom he hasn’t seen for many days, has finally concluded his long, extended wedding anniversary, intergalactic tour and was currently sitting silently in his living room.

Nalun subconsciously searched for Sirius and discovered that the other had switched pants already and was sitting on the other side of the sofa with a heavy face.

There was a cut on the corner of Yaming’s lip: “Did I interrupt something?”

His gaze slowly swept from his brother, whose clothes were slightly disheveled, to the other man. There was not even a hint of a smile on the corners of his lips.

Nalun felt strangely guilty. But after thinking about it carefully, there weren’t any issues either. This older brother of his has always been eccentric even at a young age. Perhaps something plucked his strings again.

As a result, Nalun thought briefly and then sat by Sirius’s side. In addition, he secretly examined Sirius’s pants from the corner of his eyes and discovered the length was just perfect.

Yaming coughed.

“There’s a guest in the house. Why didn’t you bring him for an introduction?”

Nalun was speechless: “Ge, he’s Sirius. Don’t you know this already?”

Of course Yaming knew Sirius.

As brothers from the same mother, he was very clear of the little schemes in Nalun’s heart. He also knew of Nalun’s discord with this Imperial Admiral. Because of this, he even gave a few words of persuasion in the past, wanting to tell Nalun to stop before going too far and causing some unnecessary problems.

However…… recalling the image he saw as soon as he walked through the door, Yaming’s mood was incomparably heavy– Just what exactly happened? Why was there a man removing his pants in his little brother’s room?!

He was very certain that before he and his wife, Sheryl, went on their trip, the two people’s relationship couldn’t be considered friendly. When Nalun disliked someone, he would obstinately dislike them forever.

In the days that he wasn’t in the Imperial Capital, something terrifying must have happened!

Sirius smiled: “Sorry, I lost control just now. My reflex to being attacked is excessively strong.”

Nalun: “……what?”

Yaming rubbed his split lip, exuding a cold aura furiously: “It’s fine. I was too impulsive.”

Seeing a suspicious man appear in his little brother’s room, as the elder brother, it’s unavoidable to have some uncontrollable urges.

Nalun narrowed his eyes, almost like he realized something. Sitting upright, he also started to emit cold air.

“Do you need me for something?”

There was indeed something. After hearing about his little brother’s recent situation, Yaming ended his trip early. Then, he bumped into something like this. Seeing Nalun’s attitude, not only did Nalun not feel this was inappropriate, he was even acting moody instead?

“I came to take Ilia home.” As soon as he got married, Yaming moved out of the Charvey Estate and started living a two-person life with his wife. After Ilia was born, he enjoyed a wonderful family of three. During this trip, he had entrusted his daughter to his little brother.

“Has she been behaving?”

Nalun gave him a profound look. Your own daughter, don’t you know personally already?

Yaming understood very well: “I will educate her when we get back.”

Nalun gave a cruel smile: “I quietly await the good news.”

Yaming: “…….” His cute, obedient little brother might have been tormented a bit overboard by his lawless daughter.

Nalun looked at the time and said to his older brother: “I still have business.”

Clearly asking him to leave.

Yaming didn’t move. His ice-cold gaze landed on Sirius. The latter gave him an appropriate smile in return.

Yaming narrowed his eyes and was just about to say something when he saw the other’s vest seem somewhat familiar.

Yaming: “……” He then looked at his little brother again. This person, who has always acted with such propriety in front of outsiders, had his sleeves rolled up, looking messy and untidy. Why?

At this time, Nalun stood up, found the medicine box in the corner, and took out the alcohol solution.

He poured the alcohol into his palm, held up Sirius’s hand and rubbed it on top.

“This works pretty well. It’s specifically used for bruises. Come.”

Yaming felt unwell all over and asked with a heavy tone: “What are you guys doing!”

Nalun was utterly confused: “Sirius got injured.”

–When he fought with the Metal Devouring Bug.

Yaming, however, was unable to accept this. He recalled his own split lip. Then he looked at Sirius’s perfectly intact right hand. Towards his little brother’s favoritism, he only felt grief and lament!
