Sirius stared, looking at him for a long time, almost like he wanted to open his mouth and say something. However, after a very long while, he still didn’t say anything at all.

His ‘wanting to speak, but hesitating’ behavior made Nalun extremely nervous, almost like he was done for any second now.

Sirius finally opened his mouth: “I…… am very astonished.”

What a coincidence, I’m also very astonished. Nalun weeped expressionlessly.

After that, both parties sank into silence. The atmosphere was somewhat awkward.

Under this indescribable and complicated atmosphere, Sirius let go of Nalun’s tightly held hand and said with a distant tone: “But I already have a confirmed partner.”

Nalun expressed ‘I understand’, and said swiftly: “Best wishes to you guys.”

Sirius: “……”

Perhaps this true love fanboy was too excessively psychotic, the Imperial Admiral couldn’t figure out his train of thought either…… In the end, Sirius only instructed his vice-admiral to pick up the completely motionless theatrical god (who was pretending to be dead to the side) and decided to leave.

Before he left, Sirius gave Nalun a deep look and leaned down to whisper in his ear: “I remember you now.”

Nalun’s gray-green eyes slowly widened, an extremely complicated emotion almost bursting outward– Being confessed to by a greasy, bearded man, was indeed, very hard to forget.

Even after Sirius turned around and walked away, Nalun was still immersed in a state of speechless disgrace.

Just why the heck did he come here? Shouldn’t the proper development of this situation be him standing silently to the side, watching Sirius getting humiliated? Why did he end up being the one out of luck instead?

“Such deep love.”

Nalun’s shoulder was patted. The short freckled man comforted him, saying: “But the Admiral belongs to everyone. Move on.”

Nalun’s eyes were dark, his face in despair: “No. I don’t understand.”

The freckled man decided to be an understanding big bro and said wisely: “Actually it’s not hard. You just need to adjust into a positive mind set. Everything will get better.”

Nalun furrowed his brows: “I don’t understand. Don’t you like Sirius a lot?”

The freckled man: “That’s right.”

Nalun narrowed his eyes, his gaze sweeping across the quail-like fangirls and fanboys one by one. He asked: “Then why did you guys have no reaction when he appeared just now?”

No reaction was already a very tactful wording. In actuality, this group of people didn’t even dare to breathe loudly and spent the entire time with their head lowered, trembling and trying to reduce their physical presence. This wasn’t the reaction of seeing one’s idol at all.

The freckled man coughed: “The Admiral isn’t on the same level as celebrities and performers. When I see him, I get so nervous I want to hide.”

Fanboy#1 sympathized deeply: “Me too. Some people can only be viewed from afar.”

The freckled man said with a severe tone: “Therefore, don’t expect too much and play tricks, bro.”

Nalun: “……” No. I wasn’t.

The freckled man’s eyes were profound, as if he was looking at a comrade who was knees deep in an irreversible mental state.

Halfway up the mountain, the observation deck of the courtyard.

Mona put down the tech in her hand, expression strange. Although the personal comp could record scenes far away, it wasn’t so impressive that it could record sound. Therefore, everything that had happened at the foot of the mountain, appeared before the viewers like it was a ‘silent movie’.

Although they couldn’t hear the sound, they could still whiff the every-changing smell of gunpowder in the air.

“Why’s that big bearded guy so dramatic?”

“Just what did the Admiral say! I’m so worried!”

“Are there any expert lip readers who can explain for us?”

“Too much beard, can’t figure out what the bearded guy said. I can only read some of the exchanges between the Admiral and the baby face.”

“What did they say?!”

“The baby face said he was the person who spent the night with the Admiral……”

“Oh fck, how shameless!”

“Then the Admiral exposed him. He was only a liar.”

“……”

“After the Admiral announced his missing person search, I immediately had a feeling that certain extreme fans with impure intentions might seize the opportunity. Sure enough.”

“The baby face is such a scheming B O Y. Forcibly slept… Good thing the Admiral is wise and brilliant!”

“So what exactly was the bearded guy doing?”

“What kind of part did he play in this?”

“Let us.”

“Walk towards the truth.”

“And expose!”

“Asha Empire’s”

“Biggest secret this year.”

“…… the commenters above, you guys really know how to play.”

“Am I the only one concerned with the Admiral holding the bearded guy’s hand?”

“……”

“……”

“……”

The livestream chat was flooded with numerous “……”. Mona adjusted the view, appearing in the middle of the screen just in time. The properly dressed-up General’s daughter looked a bit different than her usual handsome and heroic image. Very quickly, people turned their attention back on to her.

Mona was very straightforward: “Don’t ask me. I also don’t know.”

The comment section was instantly filled with anguished howls.

“However……” Mona dragged the tail of this word and said mysteriously: “I know that redhead shortie. Perhaps I can ask him later.”

Flowers, sports cars, instantly appeared one by one, like they didn’t cost money.

Mona looked at the time: “It’s food time so I’m pausing for a bit. Wait for me to come back. I’ll secretly show you guys someone very important.”

She gave an enchanting smile. After leaving behind this suspense, she ignored the pleas of the livestream audience and cut off the recording.

Sirius entered the onsen clubhouse. His fanboys and fangirls dispersed to start picnics. As an A ranked scenery location, LuoRi Volcano had a lot of lush greenery. The young men and women formed groups of 3-4 and chit chatted with each other under the warm breeze. It was really a very visually attractive moment– If they weren’t all circling around the gates of the onsen clubhouse that is.

The commotion finally ended. Everything was peaceful again.

Nalun let out a long breath of relief and refused the freckled man’s generous invitation, clearly expressing that he didn’t plan to join their picnic.

Although the development of the situation didn’t go as he planned, at least he didn’t suffer a loss himself. It was time for him to return. As the host of the banquet, he couldn’t disappear for too long.

“Wait!” Someone called out to him.

Nalun turned his head and discovered it was Sirius’ #1 tagalong again, vice-admiral Andrew.

Andrew was a solemn and dull man and spoke very pragmatically: “This is the clubhouse’s most well known medicinal bath powder. Its healing properties are extremely effective. The Admiral instructed that I must deliver this to you.”

Nalun froze, gaze landing on the delicately wrapped up box, not able to respond for a long time.

With an attitude that rejected refusal, Andrew stuffed the box into Nalun’s hand. Seeing the obvious expression of unease in the other’s eyes, he even explained quietly: “Don’t worry. It’s been paid for.”

Nalun: “…….” No. This is not the main point here.

Andrew didn’t give him any leeway to refuse politely. After delivering the item, he immediately headed back.

–Leaving behind only a bearded man with long curly hair. Holding a medicinal bag in his left hand and a gift box of medicinal bath powder in his right. Emitting a melancholic and sullen aura all over.
