Under the night sky, the East Sea sparkled with neon lights, showcasing the city's prosperity.

In the towering headquarters of Shengqing Group, the president's office on the top floor was filled with the melody of "Italian Capriccio" lingering in the darkness.

A gentleman in a white suit, with a handsome and resolute face, wore a red bow tie, looking as elegant as a prince. He stood quietly by the floor-to-ceiling window, holding a glass of red wine in one hand, gently swaying it to the rhythm of the music, admiring the bustling city under the night sky.

In this moment, he seemed to be standing alone at the bow of a ship, ready to ride the waves under the night sky.

The door to the office opened slightly and then closed again. The man in a suit who had tried to kidnap Qiao Antian slipped in quietly, walked to his back, and respectfully called out, "Young Master!"

"More than sixty people to deal with a dozen, and they only injured two bodyguards, while you lost over forty men and five were arrested by the police. Is this the good news you wanted me to wait for?" the man in the white suit said, his face expressionless as he looked out the window.

The man in the suit, who was bowing slightly, broke out in a cold sweat, not daring to argue, and only lowered his head to admit, "I failed in my duty, I deserve to die!"

"You do deserve to die, but who will clean up your mess if you die? Do you want me to do it for you?" the man in the white suit snorted.

The man in the suit felt a great weight lifted from his heart, knowing he had escaped a crisis, and immediately promised, "Young Master, give me one more chance, and I will definitely bring Qiao Antian to you."

"Fool!" The man in the white suit suddenly turned around, his gentle gaze turning cold, and he sternly said, "This is no small matter. The police won't let go easily. Those five won't hold out for long. Once they confess that I, the Young Master, ordered them to kidnap Qiao Antian..."

"No, no, no!" The man in the suit waved his hands, "On the streets, they only know the Young Master's name, but no one knows the Young Master is you. Even if they confess, it won't do any good."

"Do you think the police are all fools? They know, they just don't have the evidence," the man in the white suit paused and continued, "So... We'll wait until the heat dies down before we deal with Qiao Antian. The most important thing now, you should know."

"Yes! I will make sure they keep quiet," the man in the suit said respectfully.

The man in the white suit then smiled warmly and handed him the glass of red wine, "Drink it!"

"Thank you, Young Master, for not punishing me." The man in the suit, feeling honored, took the glass with both hands and drank it in one gulp.

Just then, a pale hand moved as fast as lightning, and with a 'crack,' it smashed the glass into the man in the suit's mouth. He cried out in pain, looking at the man in horror, covering his bleeding mouth but not daring to remove the glass shards.

"Reward for merit, punishment for fault. You know the rules," the man in the white suit took out a handkerchief, elegantly wiped his hand, and then threw the handkerchief at him, saying coldly, "If you mess up again, you know the consequences. Get out!"

The man in the suit immediately grabbed the handkerchief to cover his mouth, seemingly afraid that the blood would stain the carpet, and left in fear...

Lin Zixian went through a lot of trouble to get back to the city. He wandered the brightly lit streets, his stomach growling with hunger. He thought about the delicacies he didn't get to eat and the trouble he had caused, and couldn't help but smile bitterly.

He found a street vendor and ate a quick meal, then took a taxi back to the hotel to wash up.

The next morning, he sauntered to Minghua Group, officially starting his new job. He walked into the large company with a group of neatly dressed and well-groomed white-collar workers.

As he entered the company hall, he immediately saw the two beautiful receptionists who represented the company's image, and his mood instantly improved.

Remembering that he was now their colleague, he took out his employee badge and hung it around his neck, walked over confidently, and stared at the two of them, not missing a single detail.

The two women, who had a grudge against him, felt uneasy under his gaze. Their first thought wasn't that he was a pervert, but that he might be looking for trouble. They called out nervously, "Deputy Director Lin!"

At this, the male and female employees passing through the hall all turned to look, and even in the elevator, they kept glancing over. He heard a gossipy woman say, "Look, that's the new Deputy Director of Security appointed by the chairman. They say he's Assistant Ning's boyfriend and was seen holding hands with her yesterday..."

Lin Zixian's ears perked up, but he didn't react to the rumors. Instead, he greeted the two receptionists with a smile, "Good morning!"

He then cheerfully squeezed into the reception area, pretending to inspect things. The security guards nearby looked at him with disdain, thinking that, unless it was a special situation, the reception area wasn't part of the security department's inspection.

Most of the security guards in the hall also lusted after the receptionists, but the company rules were clear, and they didn't dare to hit on them in public, unless they wanted to lose their jobs. The salary for a full-time security guard in a large company wasn't low.

Seeing someone abuse their power so openly, they were extremely jealous.

One of the receptionists whispered, "Deputy Director Lin, we didn't bring any prohibited items."

"Ha ha!" Lin Zixian flipped through some documents, glanced back, and said casually, "I just want to understand why this company is so stingy. There are only two chairs at such a large reception desk. It's ridiculous."

The two receptionists looked at each other, speechless. This wasn't a reception room; there were only two people on duty, so why would they need more chairs?

"Hey, you, come here," Lin Zixian pointed to a security guard.

The guard was taken aback. Despite his disdain for Lin Zixian's behavior, he had to comply since Lin was now his superior. He ran over and said with a smile, "Deputy Director Lin, what do you need?"

"What's your name?" Lin Zixian asked formally.

"Qian Ligang," the guard replied immediately.

"Good! You look sharp. I've seen your photo in the security department's records. You have the potential to be a squad leader," Lin Zixian said casually. Qian Ligang was initially stunned but then couldn't hide his excitement, nodding and bowing. Then he heard, "Qian Ligang, there are only two chairs at the reception desk. That's ridiculous. Go to my office and bring another chair here."

"Ah..." Qian Ligang and the two receptionists were all dumbfounded.

The two receptionists looked at him in disbelief, thinking he was joking, but he was serious.

Qian Ligang hesitated, wanting to say it wasn't appropriate, but thinking of the squad leader position, he decided to follow the order and ran off without a word.

Soon, Qian Ligang returned with a chair from Lin Zixian's office. Lin Zixian placed it by the wall, sat down with his legs crossed, right behind the two receptionists, where he could admire their figures and curves at any time.

The sudden appearance of a man behind them made the two receptionists feel uncomfortable, and Qian Ligang was also stunned.

Lin Zixian, noticing that Qian Ligang was still standing there, coughed and said, "Qian Ligang, you're doing well. I'll recommend you for the squad leader position. Go back to your duties."

Qian Ligang beamed, then leaned in and whispered, "Deputy Director Lin, sitting here is too conspicuous." He tugged at his uniform, suggesting that Lin Zixian change clothes.

Lin Zixian looked at him with admiration, thinking he was a talented and meticulous person, worth cultivating.

Just then, Director Duan Jiyeh arrived, looked around, and saw Lin Zixian. He walked over with a smile, but when he saw Lin sitting at the reception desk, he couldn't help but laugh and say, "Director Lin, this is too much. You have your own office in the security department. Why are you sitting here?"

He knew how powerful Lin Zixian was, someone even the chairman couldn't ignore, so he deliberately omitted the "deputy" in "Deputy Director."

"Hey! We can't be so bureaucratic! The security department's duty is to protect the company and its employees. How can I do that from an office?" Lin Zixian pointed to the spacious hall and said, "I think this is a great spot. I can see and hear everything. If anything unusual happens, I can react immediately. You, Director Duan, can handle the big picture from the office. I, as the deputy, will set an example by staying here."

"Uh..." Duan Jiyeh was stunned, not understanding what Lin was getting at. When he saw the two beautiful receptionists, he suddenly understood. As a man, he grasped the situation quickly. Knowing he couldn't stop Lin, he decided to let it be.

Seeing that Duan had nothing to say, Lin Zixian threw the documents back, stood up, and frowned, "Director Duan, I have a situation to report."

Duan Jiyeh, knowing the importance of Lin's opinion, said solemnly, "Go ahead."

Lin Zixian tugged at his clothes and said, "Regardless of my position as deputy director, I'm now part of the security department. When will I get my uniform?"

"Uh..." Duan Jiyeh thought it was a trivial matter and immediately turned to Qian Ligang, "Qian, go to the company's labor protection department and get Director Lin's uniform."

"Sure, I'll go right away," Qian Ligang turned and walked away, but heard Lin Zixian's voice again, "Director Duan, I think Qian is doing a great job. He can definitely handle the squad leader position. You should consider it."

Qian Ligang almost tripped, feeling incredibly grateful. He ran to the labor protection department, determined not to delay Lin Zixian's request.
