Chapter 4

In City S, the northern suburbs are considered to be in a relatively good location. Early in the morning, Liu Ben headed straight for the northern suburbs to the Furenjiayuan residential area. This community is generally considered to be of a higher standard, with excellent property management, a pleasant environment, a nearby market, and a large supermarket, making it very convenient and accessible.

"Sir, may I ask if you are here to view a property?" A soft and clear voice came from beside him.

Following the sound, Liu Ben was instantly amazed. He saw a young girl dressed in a business suit, with a refined and extraordinary appearance, skin as white as snow, and an aura of lightness and grace that was breathtakingly beautiful.

"Yes, I want to buy a house. Could you please introduce the different types of units here, Miss?" Liu Ben quickly regained his composure, after a brief moment of being stunned, as he was not one to be infatuated easily.

"My name is Xu Yaqi. May I ask for your surname, sir?" The voice was still as soft and clear as before.

"Hello, Miss Xu. My surname is Liu, and my given name is Ben," Liu Ben replied with a smile.

"Then please follow me, Mr. Liu. I will show you the model of our residential complex first," Xu Yaqi led the way and brought Liu Ben to a large model of the complex.

"Mr. Liu, the available units and their prices are as follows: apartment-style residences from 500,000 to 600,000, duplex residences from 800,000 to 1,050,000, and villas from 2,200,000 to 3,000,000. Which type would you like to choose?" Xu Yaqi asked with a polite smile.

"I haven't really decided yet. Could you please introduce the characteristics of each type of unit, Miss Xu?" Liu Ben scratched his head and replied. He was not very familiar with real estate.

Xu Yaqi patiently introduced the characteristics of each type of unit to Liu Ben, explaining them clearly and thoroughly.

"I live alone, so I don't need a very large space," Liu Ben said.

"In that case, I would recommend the duplex residence to you. It has a high floor space utilization rate, good ventilation, and lighting, which can almost double the usable area of the residence," Xu Yaqi suggested.

Under Xu Yaqi's guidance, Liu Ben viewed a completed duplex residence. It was quite nice. The building had two floors, with the lower floor mainly for living, dining, bathing, and leisure, and the upper floor for bedrooms and rest. Most importantly, the house was already fully furnished.

After observing, Liu Ben also thought the duplex residence was good. He was about to agree at the sales office when a voice came from the side.

"Xiaoya," a young man in his twenties, wearing a silver-white suit, slightly overweight, and with a pale complexion, walked over and called out to Xu Yaqi. His appearance suggested that he was someone who indulged excessively.

Hearing the distant call, Xu Yaqi frowned, and a look of disgust flashed across her face before she quickly resumed her professional smile.

"Master Wang, are you here to buy a house again? I will find another salesperson for you," Xu Yaqi said calmly.

"Why make it so complicated? I always come to you, and no one else," the young man, Wang Dashao, stared at Xu Yaqi with eyes that occasionally flashed with lustful glances.

"Sorry, Master Wang, I have a customer here, and I am unable to assist you," Xu Yaqi replied with an apologetic smile.

"Is it him? A poor guy like him can't afford a house. He's just dreaming," Wang Dashao looked at Liu Ben with disdain and sneered.

"Kid, this place isn't for you. Get lost and don't disturb me," Wang Dashao said arrogantly to Liu Ben.

"Master Wang, Mr. Liu is my customer. Please don't..." Xu Yaqi stepped forward to stop Wang Dashao's provocation, but Liu Ben stopped her before she could finish.

Liu Ben had always been a strong-willed person. He wouldn't have been able to win scholarships year after year in college otherwise. Since becoming a dimensional merchant, he had become even more determined.

"Do you think I'll run just because you tell me to? I don't think you have the right to make me do so," Liu Ben smiled and looked straight at Wang Dashao, his eyes cold and piercing.

Wang Dashao's heart skipped a beat. Could this guy be a wolf in sheep's clothing?

"My name is Wang Zihao, and my father, Wang Qianshuo, is the chairman of the Wang Group. May I ask which circle you belong to?"

"My name is Liu Ben, just an ordinary citizen. There's no need for you to be afraid, Mr. Wang," Liu Ben smiled casually.

Hearing Liu Ben's words, Wang Zihao felt relieved.

"You really don't know your place, do you? I wonder where you get the nerve to talk to me like that. Are you looking for a beating?" Wang Zihao resumed his arrogant tone.

"I'm here to buy a house, not to chat with you. I warn you, don't mess with me, or you'll regret being born," Liu Ben said coldly.

Xu Yaqi, standing nearby, saw a glint in her eyes, clearly surprised by Liu Ben.

"Buy a house? This isn't a toy store. I want to see what a poor guy like you can use to buy a house," Wang Zihao didn't take Liu Ben's warning seriously and instead folded his arms mockingly.

Liu Ben looked at Wang Zihao calmly, then turned to Xu Yaqi, who had been waiting for a while, and smiled faintly. "I want the duplex. Please handle the procedures for me, Miss Xu."

"Mr. Liu, the duplex we just saw is 880,000. Would you like to pay in installments or in full?" Xu Yaqi asked.

Liu Ben reached into his pocket, took out a bank card and his documents from his spatial ring, and handed them to Xu Yaqi. "Pay in full. The password is six zeros."

"Please wait a moment, Mr. Liu." Xu Yaqi took the bank card and documents with both hands, smiled warmly, and walked away.

"Kid, you'll be embarrassed if there's no money in your account," Wang Zihao said smugly.

"Whether I'm embarrassed or not isn't up to you. You don't have the right to make me feel embarrassed," Liu Ben maintained his calm expression.

"Alright, you talk tough. I hope you always stay this tough."

The procedures were processed quickly. Soon, Xu Yaqi returned with a file in her hands.

"Xiaoya, is this guy's account balance insufficient?" Wang Zihao asked eagerly before Xu Yaqi could speak.

"Mr. Liu, please sign this document, and all the procedures will be complete," Xu Yaqi ignored Wang Zihao, smiled, and handed Liu Ben a document.

Liu Ben signed the document as Xu Yaqi instructed.

"Mr. Liu, please keep your property documents and keys," Xu Yaqi handed the property documents and keys back to Liu Ben.

"Thank you, Miss Xu."

"This is no trouble at all. If this were trouble, I would be happy to be overwhelmed by it," Xu Yaqi joked.

"Miss Xu, you're quite amusing. I'll leave now if you have something to attend to," Liu Ben said goodbye to Xu Yaqi.

"Goodbye, Mr. Liu."

As Liu Ben turned to leave, he ignored Wang Zihao, who looked as if he had swallowed a fly, his face green with anger.

Wang Zihao watched Liu Ben's back, his eyes filled with resentment. It was all because of this guy that he had lost face in front of the beautiful woman. After Liu Ben walked away, he took out his phone and dialed a number.

"Help me deal with someone..."

"I'll make you understand the consequences of offending me," Wang Zihao muttered, his eyes filled with cruel intent, as he watched Liu Ben's disappearing back.
