Liu Siyi's goal, of course, was not a first-tier redwood treasure chest, but a fourth-tier silver treasure chest located several kilometers away from the werewolves, guarded by a fifth-tier minotaur.

A silver treasure chest can yield third-tier treasures, though it's not guaranteed. However, if a powerful item that significantly boosts one's strength were to appear, it would give him a better chance against the dwarves.

"Boom! Boom!" Without hesitation, Liu Siyi's third-tier area-of-effect magic, Lightning Bomb, exploded one after another among the werewolves. Each Lightning Bomb instantly killed all the werewolves within a hundred-meter radius. The few remaining werewolves on the edge were too insignificant to be targeted individually with Thunderbolts, so he used another Lightning Bomb to finish them off.

The process was even smoother than expected. The werewolves couldn't withstand the power of the Lightning Bombs and were reduced to piles of charred remains after just two attacks.

Signaling the thunderbird to land in front of the redwood treasure chest, Liu Siyi saw that it was a red box made of hard and beautiful wood, intricately carved with complex patterns, emitting a faint red glow. Approaching the chest, he lifted the lid with both hands, and immediately, a dazzling golden light flashed, blindingly bright.

This was not magic or a trap, but the light that automatically emitted upon opening the treasure chest.

As the blinding light faded, Liu Siyi opened his eyes and saw that the treasure chest had disappeared, leaving behind a pile of about five hundred gold coins and a gemstone.

It was a decent haul. The gold coins filled his backpack, making it heavy. With so many coins, Liu Siyi didn't have the time to count them one by one. After packing them, the heavy bag surprised him with how much he could carry. Fortunately, he didn't need to carry it all the time. Once on the thunderbird's back, he placed the backpack there and held the strap to prevent it from falling.

Liu Siyi, now a low-level second-tier unit, had absorbed the evolutionary power from killing nearly a hundred werewolves, giving him a sense that he would soon level up again, which was his goal.

The more evolutionary power needed for leveling up, the better, but how to obtain more evolutionary power was something to consider.

Killing higher-tier units could provide a large amount of evolutionary power, allowing for immediate leveling up, but this wasn't what Liu Siyi wanted. His strategy was to first kill units of similar strength, absorb enough evolutionary power, and then target higher-tier units. This way, he would accumulate more evolutionary power, making the leveling-up effect better.

Minotaurs are fifth-tier melee units in the dungeon, with extremely strong melee capabilities. They possess the skills: Morale, which makes them fearless at any time; and Strength, which enhances their attack power.

This world has several races, each playing a powerful role in their respective factions due to their adaptability. For example, minotaurs, originally from the orc race, are fifth-tier units. Not only are there minotaurs in the dungeon, but there are also fallen fifth-tier minotaur demons in the City of Demons and fifth-tier dark minotaurs in the Dark Elf Castle, all of which are powerful fifth-tier units derived from the orc race.

Not only the orc race, but humans as well, have derived other units. Priests who worship the God of Light, dark mages of the dungeon who worship the God of Darkness, and alchemists of the Titan City who belong to the Order, are mostly humans.

As a fifth-tier unit, the minotaur's combat strength is undeniable. However, for Liu Siyi flying in the sky, as long as they can't reach him, they can only become evolutionary power for him to absorb.

Riding the thunderbird and flying high in the sky, Liu Siyi wasn't worried about the minotaurs' attacks. Even if they could throw their axes, they couldn't reach such a height. Besides, his magic attack range was five hundred meters, and he didn't believe the minotaurs could throw their axes that high.

"Boom!" A purple lightning-emanating Lightning Bomb suddenly fell from the sky, landing in the most concentrated area of twenty or so minotaurs, then exploded, instantly enveloping all the minotaurs within a hundred-meter radius in a large area of electric current. When the current dissipated, all the minotaurs within the range of the Lightning Bomb were convulsing.

Before the minotaurs could react to the sudden attack, another Lightning Bomb fell, landing in the same spot.

This time, most of the minotaurs fell to the ground, with only a few still standing. Among them, one particularly tall minotaur emitted a layer of red light, resisting the lightning attack.

"Is this Aura?" Liu Siyi was secretly surprised by this unique minotaur and used the Scouting Skill to check.

Minotaur Warrior, a high-level elite fifth-tier unit.

Just like the thunderhawk can use its own lightning power, the Minotaur Warrior can use its own Aura.

As mentioned earlier, wild monsters are mostly composed of ordinary units, with a very small chance of having innate elite units or even innate heroes.

Liu Siyi didn't expect that, according to the knowledge passed down, elite units among wild monsters are almost impossible to encounter. Yet, in just two days in this world, he had already encountered both a thunderhawk and a Minotaur Warrior.

This is the benefit of undeveloped wilderness. Not only have many units existed for a long time, but the possibility of evolution is also higher, and elite units are not eliminated. There are also many more resources and treasures.

"Minotaur, surrender! Or die!" Twenty-seven fifth-tier minotaurs could be a powerful force, especially with an elite minotaur who has mastered Aura. Liu Siyi knew without thinking that subduing them would be more beneficial than leveling up himself.

He called them minotaurs rather than minotaur monsters because, except for the fallen minotaur demons, they hadn't forgotten their original orc identity; they just belonged to different factions.

"Minotaurs only respect warriors stronger than themselves. If you can defeat me, I will surrender," the Minotaur Warrior roared, waving his large axe.

"Defeat you? How do you expect me to defeat you? I'm a mage, do you want me to compete with you in strength?" Liu Siyi signaled the thunderbird to fly lower, always ready to dodge any possible axe or Aura attacks, and shouted back.

"Uh..." The Minotaur Warrior was momentarily at a loss for words.

"Then just prove that you are stronger than me."
