Biomons are a race of creatures created by the orc god in the Heroes of Might and Magic world. They are born with the power of a seventh-tier unit, specifically designed for battle.
A low-tier seventh-level Biomon is just an ordinary Biomon, with brown fur as hard as steel, immense strength, and massive claws, making it a formidable close-combat fighter. However, due to its powerful melee capabilities and orc heritage, the Biomon does not use magic.
When upgraded to a high-tier seventh-level, it evolves into a silver-gray Biomon. The Biomon becomes even more powerful, not only changing color but also having fur as strong as fine steel. Its strength, speed, and massive claws make it even more formidable in close combat.
Moving up to the eighth tier, it becomes a Golden Biomon. All eighth-tier units are heroes, capable of sensing and utilizing the laws of the world.
If one were to talk about the power of the Biomon, it would be endless. However, this information is derived from legends and does not compare to the awe-inspiring sight of seeing one in person.
The three riders flew over the mountains and saw three massive figures playing at the foot of the mountain.
A silver-gray Biomon, clearly larger than the two brown Biomons, was like an adult playing with two children. The two smaller ones were trying to knock the larger one down, but their small size and weak strength made it impossible. Instead, they were the ones being knocked down, covered in dust, and smashing into rocks and trees. However, they did not give up, getting up and trying again.
Is this how they train their combat instincts? Seeing this, Liu Siyi was reminded of the kittens and puppies playing downstairs, which seemed to be doing the same.
From a distance, it felt like this, but as they got closer, the powerful aura of the Biomon became clearer, and its size grew larger, creating a sense of oppression.
Liu Siyi did not dare to get too close to the Biomon. As a war beast created by the orc god specifically for battle, the Biomon is far from harmless. Its explosive power allows it to jump hundreds of meters into the air, using its claws to grab and drag down prey, and even tear it apart in mid-air.
As they got closer, the appearance of the Biomon became clearer.
Although every version and legend of the Biomon is different, Liu Siyi found that the Biomon here was similar to the one in Heroes of Might and Magic III, just more muscular and robust, with more developed chest and biceps. If not for its face, it would look more like a gorilla.
The three riders moved quickly, and soon the Biomon noticed them. It stopped playing, and the two Biomons stood behind it.
The three riders slightly changed their flight direction, as if they had just discovered the Biomon, and flew towards it. However, they did not dare to get too close, stopping about 300 meters above. Liu Siyi shouted loudly, "Powerful Biomon warriors, an evil mage is chasing us. Since we are all orcs, could you please help us repel him?"
"The Thunder Eagles are orcs, but you don't seem to be orcs, do you?" the Biomon asked, its voice loud.
"We are humans, but we have pledged allegiance to the orc race. Doesn't that make us part of the orc race?" Liu Siyi emphasized, sounding both angry and helpless.
"Even if you are orcs, why should we help you?" the Biomon asked again.
Indeed, due to the laws of this world, even if they are of the same race, they might still fight each other, let alone help. If the Biomon did not have the ability to use reason, Liu Siyi would not have agreed to Lilia's suggestion to try to persuade them first.
"Roar!" Before Liu Siyi could answer, a fiery red figure flew towards them from the direction they came.
"I see you stopped running, did you find a protector?" As it got closer, they realized it was a firebird with flames burning all over its body.
"But, you orcs are so stupid. I can't deal with these big dummies, but do you think you can deal with me?" The firebird did not slow down, charging forward.
When the firebird appeared, Liu Siyi and the others hid 200 meters behind the Biomon, low in the air. Even if the Biomon attacked them, the Thunder Eagle's speed and agility would allow them to escape. The biggest threat to the Biomon was not the three riders but the firebird.
The firebird started bombing from a distance of several hundred meters, launching fireballs one after another.
"Boom, boom, boom..." A series of explosions erupted around the three Biomons, causing fire and smoke to rise, leaving Liu Siyi in awe. The power was definitely greater than a third-level chain fireball.
"Ha ha ha, what Biomon? Just a big dummy. Can't even dodge a fireball. I wonder if you're already cooked. It's been a while since I had roasted Biomon meat," the firebird mocked from the sky, dropping a few more fireballs. "My master is really something. Just one orc race, I can destroy it. I'll finish you all here, then burn their castles to ashes."
This was Liu Siyi's plan: to use the common orc heritage to stir up a sense of unity, first standing on the same side, then negotiating.
Plans can't keep up with changes, and without the right people to implement them, they are useless. The appearance of the firebird Phoenix was perfect, its sarcastic tone guaranteed to provoke the Biomon's anger, and its flying ability made the Biomon's anger hard to vent. Now, how to guide the Biomon's anger to achieve Liu Siyi's goal was the key.
Plans can't keep up with changes. The plan wasn't perfect, but it had a chance of success. However, Liu Siyi wasn't a fool, and the firebird's summoning magic had a time limit, so he hadn't thought that far ahead.
"Are those three big dummies already blown to pieces? I hope not, or I won't get to eat roasted Biomon meat," Phoenix said after about ten minutes of bombing, looking at the smoke below with a hint of regret.
Dragons and firebirds have the ability to breathe fire, but the range is limited. Even a seventh-tier unit can only breathe fire up to ten times its body length, and beyond 200-300 meters, it's almost harmless. Only an eighth-tier hero who can use the laws of the world can maintain the power of their breath over a kilometer. So, in a non-close-combat situation, the firebird's racial ability to use fire magic is more practical.
The wind in the mountains quickly dispersed the smoke, revealing three slightly disheveled massive figures. They were disheveled because they were covered in dust, but that was just a matter of appearance.
Surprisingly, they were not injured at all. Upon closer inspection, Liu Siyi was shocked to find that they had only lost a few hairs.
"Hmph! You're not even qualified to eat roasted Biomon meat!" The tone of the Biomon revealed its anger.
"Hmph! Just because you're more numerous? If it were a one-on-one, you wouldn't stand a chance against me," the firebird said, looking down on them.
"You! Come down, and we'll have a one-on-one, let's see who's stronger!" the Biomon roared, pointing at the firebird.
"Ha ha, do you think I'm as stupid as you? When you can't beat me, you'll still gang up on me. Orcs never keep their word, I don't trust you," the firebird continued to provoke.
"You! Come down if you dare!" The Biomon's anger was now boiling over.
"Come up if you dare!" the firebird retorted.
"Come down!"
"Come up!"
"Didn't they say orcs are incredibly brave? How can you be such a coward? I guess not everything they say is true..."
"XXOO..." When it came to insults, Phoenix was clearly an expert. It was hard to say what kind of environment its true form grew up in to develop such a personality. Compared to it, the Biomon seemed like a child.
The time was right. Liu Siyi listened to Phoenix's one-sided insults while calculating the time. When he felt it was about right, he made a pre-arranged gesture, not worried about being seen from behind the Biomon.
At first, when Liu Siyi heard that the Biomon lived at the foot of a mountain, he suspected it might be a Biomon nest, a true recruitment point for seventh-tier units in the wild. Unfortunately, after a thorough search, he found no evidence.
"Stop!" the firebird shouted, "Insulting you three big dummies is fun, but it's not satisfying. You're not even in the same league. I'm tired of it. I'll go burn your orc castles and come back with my master to finish you off."
With that, the firebird turned and left, adding, "Big dummies, if you have the guts, wait for me here, don't run away."
