Chapter 10: Red Devil Method

Yu Yuan slowly opened his eyes.

The first thing he saw was the shirtless Yuan Qiufang.

Looking at the Silver Ice Chains around Yuan Qiufang, he frowned and asked, “You are also caught by the Cold Shadows Sect? How long have I been here?”

Yuan Qiufang, who just calmed down, made a weird expression.

Huff!

A column of crimson light suddenly emerged from the top of his head and spewed out like a fountain.

In the beam of light, Fire Flame Seals surrounded a fierce little man.

Yuan Qiufang continued to gasp, attempting to suppress the fire poison in his body.

“Oh, you are from the Red Devil Sect.” Yu Yuan was a little surprised, “But how are you so bad? Using the Red Devil Sect’s method and is stuck by your own effects in just the Profound Realm?”

He shook his head and was pitiful for the man in front of him, “As a member of the Red Devil Sect, not only are you taken over by the poison but also captured by the Cold Shadows Sect. What a shame!”

The Red Devil Sect was one of the primary devil sects in the Land of Extinction., and their power was much stronger than the Cold Shadows Sect.

Sects like the Cold shadows would never bother with the Red Devil Sect.

Even in the Land of Qianxuan, Cold Shadows Sect members would still be careful around those from Red Devil Sect.

In his last life, Yu Yuan’s Devine Medicine Sect was also in the Land of Extinction.

When he first started to refine poison pills, he made some very good friends in the North.

He knew a few from the Red Devil Sect, so when he saw the Fire Flame Seals in Yuan Qiufang’s light beam, he immediately recognized that it was the “Red Devil Method”.

“What! What did you say?!”

Yuan Qiufang almost spat out a mouthful of blood.

His daughter told him that the boy was a fool from the Yu Clan, but how come he was made like a coward instead?

“Oh wait… How do you know that I am from the Red Devil Sect? And how do you know that I practiced the Red Devil Method? The confused Yuan Qiufang forced him to stay calm from the poison in his body and yelled in a deep voice, “Who are you?”

“I am Yu Yuan.”

“Yu Yuan?” Yuan Qiufang rolled his eyes and said, “So you are the one that almost died a while ago.”

“Right.” Yu Yuan nodded slightly and said again, “I want who from the Cold Shadows Sect brought me here?”

He thought that after he poisoned Yin Jue, the Cold Shadows Sect had sent someone to capture him and secretly brought him here.

He tried to think of ways to let whoever brought him here not kill him just yet.

“I’m not captured by Cold Shadows Sect. I am chained here because I’m afraid that I will lose control of myself because of the poison.” Yuan Qiufang hesitated before he told the truth, and then asked tentatively, “I heard that you made some Meridian Extention Pills and another… poison pill?”

“Not from the Cold Shadows Sect?” Yu Yuan was relieved. He remembered what had happened a few days ago, “Last time, is it you that came to spy on me?”

“It was me.” Yuan Qiufang didn’t deny it. He blankly and said with a hopeful expression, “Since you know so much about the Red Devil Sect and my cultivation method and the poison. Then do you… have any idea of my…”

“Of course!” Before he could finish, Yu Yuan nodded and said, “I have, right now, a way for you to temporarily control the poison and be able to leave this chamber.”

“Really?!” Yuan Qiushui was overjoyed.

“For real!” Yu Yuan gave him a definite answer, “Hmm… Since you are in the Nuance Realm already, you know that there is a master from the Cold Shadows Sect just outside the city right?”

“Yeah.” Yuan Qiufang answared.

“I’ll teach you a method that can temporarily suppress the fire poison and let you leave the room.” Yu Yuan slowly said, “However, you will still be in an unstable state for a while after that. “The poison is not an easy one to be eliminated in a short time. It needs a lot of preparation work to be done.”

Yuan Qiufang was already excited. In the depths of his eyes, there seemed to be a raging flame burning. He said, “You can help me eliminate the poison?”

“Just like what I just said. I can.” Yu Yuan got his confidence and said with a smile, “Before helping you, I hope that you can do me a favor.”

“What is it?”

“I want you to terminate the master from the Cold Shadows Sect!”

“Alright! I promise you. She is not going to be a problem!” Yuan Qiujie agreed without hesitation, “Tell me. How can I control the poison for now? I can remove the chain Silver Ice Chains while I am conscious, but I have to come back before the poison takes over me again.”

“Listen to me carefully. Take the cold force in the Silver Ice Iron chain and lead the force into the acupunctures…”

Yu Yuan told him in a soft voice.

Inside the room, a bundle of blue light rushed toward Yuan Qiufang’s acupuncture points.

Under the heat effects from the Red Devil Method, Yuan Qiufang guided the cold force through his Yuzhen, Tianzhu, Chengguang, and other acupunctures. Instantly, he felt that his mind was clear from the heat.

He opened his bright eyes and confidence returned to him. Yu Yuan was right, he finally gained full control over his body again.

“The Red Devil Method that you are practicing will melt the cold force in your body, but it will take a while to do so. During his time, you should feel perfectly normal.” Yu Yuan took a good look at him and continued, “You have almost half a day that you can move around. When you attack, the poison will only inflict a slight pain, but will not take control over you.”

“So, please fulfill your promise.”

“Ha!” That one from the Cold Shadows Sect. I know where she is hiding!” Yuan Qiufang laughed openly, “Her name is Lu Xuan. Just a while ago she was somehow injured. Killing her will not be hard for me!”

Clang, clang, clang!

The Silver Ice Chains fell from his body. He stood at the center of the room and heavily stomped his feet. A stone path appeared. “Follow me!” He said.

He grabbed on to Yu Yuan and they both disappeared on the path.

After a while…

Yuan Lianyao, who had finished her day of work dealing with city affairs, walked into the room to check on how her father was doing with Yu Yuan.

“Where are they?”

As soon as she stepped into the icy cold room, she found that there was no one there.

Her face turned pale when she saw the secret stone path in the center of the room was opened, “Darn it! What is he thinking? He almost killed me every time he left this place!”

Without much thinking, she also entered the stone path hoping to find Yuan Qiufang as soon as possible.

She was worried that Yuan Qiufang would make another big mistake and commit more deadly crimes in the Dark Moon City.

Her father wasn’t anyone good before he had lost his consciousness, and after he was poisoned, the potential consequences would be unimaginable.

Outside the city…

In the dim cold stone cave, pieces of ice crystals piled up around the ground. Several poisonous pythons winded up around the crystals, extracting the power from the crystals.

Lu Xuan looked at the poisonous pythons and muttered, “We can’t wait any longer. The Yu Clan had to be eliminated as soon as possible in order to get back to the sect.”

Over the past few days, she had been using her own energy to feed the pythons, hoping that they would level up when she returned.

The higher the python’s level, the greater its powers will be. From that, she would be greatly benefited as well.

Suddenly, the poisonous pythons all trembled uneasily!

The master’s face turned cold. She released her cold spirits to search the surroundings.

“Ah!”

She screamed.

As soon as her spirit left the cave, it seemed to be burnt in hot lava!

The burning pain from her spirit was unendurable. She realized that there was someone much more powerful that came in!

“I’m Lu Xuan from the Cold Shadows Sect, and who are you?” She hurriedly shouted.

Huff!

Like a burning flame breeze, Yuan Qiufang and Yu Yuan rushed into the stone cave.

The rocks at the entrance of the cave were blazing by the heat from Yuan Qiufang.

“Nice to meet you, master from the Cold Shadows Sect.” Yu Yuan settled down while also bearing the heat from Yuan Qiufang. He took a little bow to Lu Xuan and said, “I am the kid from the Yu Clan. Name’s Yu Yuan! Right, in case you forgot, I am the boy who you ordered Yin Jue to kill over and over again.”

Lu Xuan’s face turned pale.

Looking at Yu Yuan and Yuan Qiufang, even the dumbest would know that they didn’t come for good.

“How does the Yu Clan have such a master behind their back?” She screamed in her mind. She said in a sense of regret, “Listen, listen. I can explain!”

“Excuse me.” Yuan Qiufang laughed.

The red column of light appeared again on top of his skill. Tiny Fire Flame Seals flew out like sparks of light.

The mysterious flame seals, along with the powerful heat, arrived next to Lu Xuan was an unstoppable force.

A dozen of her poisonous pythons were instantly ignited. They let out desperate hisses and died one by one.

Every time one died, Lu Xuan felt as if she was struck by a heavy blow. She howled in pain and begged for mercy, “My fellow cultivator, please… please forgive me! I don’t know that the kid from the Yu Clan has anything to do with the Red Devil Sect!”

“It doesn’t matter if you don’t know.” Yuan Qiufang didn’t bother to explain. His large flaming hand swept across like a fan.

Sizzle, sizzle!

A flame sword cut from above.

It’s too hot in here. I’ll head out.” Yu Yuan turned around and walked out of the cave without looking back.

Lu Xuan’s shrill, high-pitched scream suddenly stopped soon after he left.

Before Yuan Qiufang got poisoned, he was in the final stage of the Profound Realm and was attempting to head for the Yin God Realm.

When he failed, he fell back to the middle stage of Profound Realm. Despite the failure, he was only a step away from Yin God, still much more powerful than a normal cultivator in the middle stage.

As for Lu Xuan, she seemed like she just got to the Profound Realm.

Additionally, she had been counterattacked by the Red Shell Bloodworms and wasted some energy feeding her pythons. Her strength right now was close to being drained.

Lu Xuan was no match against Yuan Qiufang in this state.
