Dashing like a bullet, Angelica rushed down the staircase.It’s been a while since she went out, so of course she’d be in high spirits.

For several reasons, I didn’t let Angelica walk freely outside.For one, the ID I asked Gondou to forge hasn’t been delivered yet.If a foreigner without a Visa walked about and got questioned by the police, it would be a pain in the ass, without a doubt.

The next option would be to conceal her presence with Concealment spell.But then again, it would be a huge problem if she got lost again.The Concealed status renders a person invisible, and it would prevent their voices from being heard.Which means it would be impossible for her to ask for directions in that state.She’d probably end up loitering around half-crying in a city she’s not familiar with.

That’s why I don’t let her out unless I’m there to go along with her.But recently I’ve been busy.It will almost be a week since I’ve had Angelica shut inside my home, so I’ll bet she would be reaching her limits soon.

I followed after Angelica and casted Concealment spell on her as I put my hand on her back.Meanwhile, Ayako-chan looked at my hand with a confused look.From an outsider perspective, it looked like a weirdo doing some mysterious psychokinesis on a girl.Like “what the hell is this guy doing” or something.

“You get along well…with Angelica-san, don’t you.”“That’s what you’re concerned with? Well, it’s like she’s doing a homestay, and I’m her guardian.”“…She called you “dad” so…are you like a parent figure?”

As Ayako-chan and I was conversing, Angelica joined in. I don’t know what she’s thinking about, but she said, “Dad is my husband though?” as she interlocked her arms with mine as if she’s used to it.Pressing her hills against me, my elbow was enveloped with softness.I wish you’d stop. I’m dad’s child though? Angelica replied again, turning a deaf ear.She’s normally like this as well, but she’s clinging onto me more than she usually does.I wonder if she is feeling competitive towards Ayako-chan.

Either way it’s going to be hard for me to eat and the waiters would be looking at us funny, so what should I do…I opened the menu and held it so that people wouldn’t be able to see my face.

“…I’ll get the pizza and Carbonara. How about you, Ange?”“I’ll have this one called the Salisbury steak set.”

I flipped the menu and lowered it so Ayako-chan could see it.I still managed to cover my face though.

“…I’ll have the gratin.”“Are you okay with just that?”“…I’m…not that hungry.”

Did she get something to eat while she was staying in the net cafe, I wonder.She bought all-you-can-drink course, and I also gave her some more cash on top of that.

“Ah,” I unconsciously let out a voice. “I might know how Ayako-chan got cloned into two…if I think of it, then it would be possible for me to do it too.”
