Ishtar has entered the first level of preparation.
Miao Te originally thought that with the rapid sirens, everyone in the battleship should have entered intense preparations for war. But he quickly followed Taylor all the way down without seeing a tense look on anyone’s faces.
Everyone seemed abnormally calm and undisturbed. They were not affected by the sharp siren sound at all. The only difference is that they walked and moved faster than usual.
It seems that they have long been used to this kind of thing.
When they arrived at the main hall, the soldiers sitting in front of the operating platform also looked calm. They continued with the work assigned to them orderly, without the slightest panic.
Amidst the rapid siren sounds, their fingers slammed on the console in front of them, continuously reporting various key data.
The metal seat in the middle of the main hall was empty with only the blue-haired lieutenant colonel standing next to it, constantly scanning the star maps on the hologram in front of the soldiers below and giving instructions.
Then when the black-haired major general appeared, the air in the main hall stilled for a second.
Miao Te clearly felt that the calm atmosphere of the entire hall suddenly sank.
This man didn’t need to say a word, because as long as he appeared, it was like a towering mountain that suppresses everything.
With large strides, Taylor walked towards the empty metal seat and sat down.
“Report the situation.” He said calmly.
The white cloak gently fell behind him and his snow-white gloved hands rested against the blue-black metal armrests suspended mid-air on both sides of the seat.
“Yes.” Lieutenant Colonel Via, who took a step back in reverence, replied, “This incident is an attack from the remnants of the pirates.”
He stood straight by the side, holding a document in his hand. His short blue hair fell neatly beside his temples.
“It seems like we caught one of them in the last battle.”
The young major general murmured in his slightly deep voice.
The next moment, three holograms emerged in front and on his left and right respectively.
The hologram in front showed a star map of the battlefield, the hologram on the left accurately marks the combat strength and quantity of the enemy, and the hologram on the right flashed with countless light spots of different colors and line by line swipes quickly from top to bottom.
Miao Te saw the major general sitting on the main seat of command glanced lightly at these three holograms and wondered if it was his illusion or it was because of the glimmer of those holograms that fell into the handsome face of the major general, but at this moment his pair of inky-blue pupils glowed coldly.
When the young major general swept his eyes over the hologram that showed the star map where the mark of the enemy’s forces was, the gaze exposed was like the sharpness of a sheathed sword.
In the slender phoenix eyes that were slightly raised, a little scary shimmer of light can be found which made people involuntarily shudder.
The youth took a deep breath and tried to calm his heart that was beating so hard.
Perhaps in this battleship that has already experienced hundreds of battles, only a new recruit who has just entered the Imperial Army would feel nervous.
Because the major general said to follow, he followed, but he didn’t know exactly what he should do at this moment. He could only stand obediently by the sidelines and calm down as much as possible.
Even if he couldn’t help, he can’t afford to make a mess and drag them down.
He thought about it and took a subconscious glance backward, only to find that there was one person missing.
What about Major Robin?
He thought in confusion.
We came here together and the major was walking in front of him earlier.
He listened to the Major General’s words and followed nervously, so he did not even notice when the man disappeared halfway.
He was still thinking about this when the lines on the hologram showing the star map in front of the black-haired Major General suddenly twisted and flashed a few times then disappeared, a familiar face appeared in the hologram. .
On the hologram above, the red-haired man in a black-and-yellow driving suit sat in the cockpit of a fighter jet, raised his eyebrows and raised his hand for a gesture then smiled.
“Boss, the preparations are complete. We’re ready to attack anytime”
He said, smiling with a ‘hehe’ but his eyes flashed with a bloodthirsty light like that of a greedy wolf eager to catch his prey.
Major General Taylor did not answer his subordinate, instead he moved his fingers slightly causing the big face of the red-haired man immediately disappear, and a miniature hologram the size of a fist was automatically moved to the lower right corner.
And the hologram in front of Taylor has once again returned to the star map of the battlefield.
The small battleship at the forefront has begun contact with the enemy and a fierce exchange of fire has begun.
Ship after ship exploded one after another in the starry sky, like small fireworks flying up in the night sky, illuminating the blue and black starry sky.
“Stand by.” Taylor said, watching the countless explosions of fire ahead.
An indifferent look and an indifferent tone, there was no trace of emotional ups and downs.
He looked at the star map in the hologram in front of him, the numerous light spots showing the positions of the enemy and his battleship.
“Rodell unit jump to positions α208, β80 and γ870.”
“Tota unit assist the attack from an oblique position.”
“The Cruiser’s firepower has increased and the turbo laser guns have begun to recharge. The sonic interference for missiles is to be launched by each ship after five minutes.”
The instructions issued by the young major general were conveyed in an orderly manner.
The blue-haired Lieutenant Colonel Via who left the major general’s side, walked down from the commanding platform and walked slightly to the side.
It happened to be not far from Miao Te.
He made a gesture, and a distant diamond-shaped silver-blue metal screen automatically flew over and floated in front of Lieutenant Colonel Via, fixing itself there.
The next second, dozens of fist-sized elliptical holograms suddenly popped out around the metal screen that was half the size of a human body.
On each hologram, an image of a person’s upper body was displayed, serving as a communication channel with the captains of each important battleship and the captains of the attacking fleet.
The small holograms with different persons were switching and rotating at a fast speed. When the young major general issued commands to a ship captain or a fleet captain, whether it may be large or small, commands were passed on to the relevant persons by Lieutenant Colonel Via at almost the same time.
Miao Te looked at the speed at which the small hologram switched, only for his eyes to be confused by seeing complicated things. He didn’t know how Lieutenant Colonel Via could instantly find the hologram he wanted to switch to from dozens of small hologram that looked similar to each other.
And his movements looked like floating clouds and flowing water, although it was fast and confusing, it did not seem chaotic at all, instead it gives people a sense of rhythm like striking piano keys.
In front of Flagship Ishtar, the black Cruiser’s which are large fortress-type ships, have firmly surrounded Ishtar as a solid barrier and were suppressing the enemy’s attack with artillery fire.
After receiving the order, the artillery fire of the Cruisers increased sharply again, and the intertwined crossfires created a net that almost blocked each other’s sight.
Sonic shock waves from this side successively interfered with the oscillating missiles in the starry sky, disrupting the enemy’s radar communications.
After the orders of the countless small Frigates from the captains of their different squadrons were received, the hulls suddenly disappeared from the original place and jumped to the opposite side which just caught the weakness of the enemy fleet.
At the same time, countless missile-shaped Shimou Frigates1 suddenly appeared around them. As the fastest small battleships, they came from all directions and surrounded the enemy fleet.
The pirates who was originally the sneak attacker, now found themselves trapped.
They thought they were ambushing the Ishtar ship, but they did not expect that the other party was waiting for their arrival long ago in order to wipe out the remaining pirates forces.
They are now in absolute weak position by being hit in both ends.
“Destroyer fleet, attack.”
With the cold voice of the black-haired Major General, the red-haired major who was showing an expression of “My artillery is already hungry and thirsty” for a while now, howled and rushed out with his subordinates who had the same violent attributes.
The hundreds of yellow-black Destroyer ships were like hornets surging from the hive, showing sharp spikes and rushing fiercely at the enemy.
………………
……
“Lord Major General, the enemy has signaled their surrender!”
The young soldier, who had received the signal from the enemy pirates begging for mercy, tapped quickly on the controls with his fingers, while reporting loudly to his superior.
“Will the signal be accessed?”
The slightly closed eyes opened, and the slight shadows of the long eyelashes falling on the young major general’s fair cheeks faded with the rise of those eyelashes.
Lifting his eyes to look forward, he stood up from the main seat of command.
The moment he got up, the silver-white metal wall of the ship seemed to melt from front to back, disappearing quickly in front of his eyes.
The boundless starry sky was then displayed in front of the young major general.
It is no longer necessary to use the radar display on the star map; the battle situation ahead can already be vaguely seen by the naked eye.
In front of the deep starry sky, a handful of remnants of battleships were crowded in a small space, surrounding them were countless different types of Frigates in all directions, completely blocking their escape.
Countless muzzles were aimed at the hundreds of pirate battleships at the center.
The young major general stood on a high platform, black trousers wrapped around his slender legs and his stood there as if he was looking down at the battleships ahead.
In the dim light, those inky-dark blue pupils glowed slightly, as if reflecting the deep and icy cosmic starry sky ahead.
“Full annihilation.” He said, his tone cold.
“Yes. Sending command ‘full annihilation’. Sending complete, command sent.”
The soldier’s received the command right after the soldier’s words came to an end.
Intense light flashed from the starry sky ahead.
Numerous artillery fires were shot from the muzzles of battleships in all directions, instantly bombarding hundreds of battleships that were trapped in the middle to fragments.
From here, the only thing seen by the naked eye was countless tiny red fireworks that exploded into the vast starry sky.
Lieutenant Colonel Via stood straight and pondered slightly then raised his hand and pressed a few keys on the virtual keyboard floating in front of him.
The diamond-shaped silver-blue metal screen with the surrounding hologram in front of him floated to the left and went up little higher, so more people could now see the image above.
In this way, the metal screen was far away from Lieutenant Colonel Via, but it was now closer to Miao Te who was standing on his left.
The teenager’s eyes moved subconsciously with the holograms, and he clearly saw how the diamond metal screen flickered slightly.
The line was torn and a blurry figure came out.
In the distorted image, a pale-faced man shouted and screamed exhaustedly at this side of the screen, but his voice was never heard.
The blue-haired lieutenant colonel just carefully looked at the man’s face with his subordinates around him, it seemed that he just wanted to confirmed the identity of the person.
Seeing the blue-haired lieutenant colonel’s indifferent look, the man in the screen shouted even more urgently.
He stood in front of the control platform of his battleship and slapped the metal table with both hands. It was unclear if it was because of the distortion of the signal or because of excessive panic, but he yelled at this side, his face showed that he was almost begging.
Yet, in the next second.
With a ‘bang’, his ship was shot and the side hull of the ship was severely torn open in an instant.
The man was suddenly exposed to the vacuum-like environment and his eyes looked like they would burst at any moment, and indeed, the terrible pressure of the vacuum instantaneously made him explode from the inside.
Blood instantly sprayed on the screen filling it with red.
It didn’t take long for the blood-stained screen to turn black.
The blue-haired lieutenant colonel looked indifferently at the hologram that turned black, even his eyebrows did not elicit a reaction. He turned around and ordered the soldiers below to check the identity of the person in the pirate database.
This kind of things has happened in front of him countless of times and this event was not taken seriously.
But beside Via, Miao Te who was standing not far from the metal screen suspended in midair, stepped back almost instinctively when the screen was splashed blood red.
The blood that his eyes reflected made his face suddenly turn pale.
He stepped back subconsciously, instinctively trying to avoid the blood that wasn’t even going to come near him.
He didn’t have the time to remember that there were still people around him, so after a few steps back he bumped into Lieutenant Colonel Via who was giving orders.
The blue-haired lieutenant colonel turned his head and frowned when he saw Miao Te’s panic look and his pale face.
“Recruit, go back to your room.” He said coldly.
The pale-faced Miao Te looked at him and nodded stiffly. He turned around and walked quickly in the direction they came from.
But before he left, he couldn’t help looking back for one final glance.
In the starry universe, the enemy’s remnant battleships have already exploded into numerous fireworks in the sky.
Thousands of lives were wiped out in an instant with a single statement from the major general, “Full annihilation”.
Life is such a fleeting thing in this cold starry sky with no end in sight.
The last bright light before the shot that symbolized life, was extinguished the dark-brown pupil of the youth.
The sparks representing the explosion of a battleship flashed like starlight in Miao Te’s eyes.
Each flash of beautiful sparks was telling him the insignificance of the life of this young man from a peaceful age and the cruelty of the interstellar battlefield.
In his mind, he was still couldn’t restrain recalling the horrifying image of the flesh and blood of the man that exploded into the hologram.
The boy stood silently, he said nothing but at this moment, he was tightly biting on his lips. As he lowered his eyes, his fine eyelashes casted dark shadows under his eyes. He turned and walked away quickly, his breathing slightly turbulent.
No one noticed that the moment Miao Te turned and left, the light at the corner of the young major general’s eyes standing above the podium moved slightly, as if he had accidentally glanced over.
He glanced at the back of the youth who was leaving, and passed over it slowly.
Then, his eyes returned to looking at the front, his cold eyes reflecting the endless starry sky ahead.
The author has something to say:
I just wanted to write a story about falling in love in the interstellar. The star warfare technology level is not enough to withstand the test,_(:з」∠)_, a not so heavy BUG, begging to let it go.
And about the setting of the battleships, there are roughly five types.
The flagship has already been described in detail before so the other four are:
Cruiser – large battleships, bulky, low speed, is a fortress-type ship, and have powerful firepower.
Banisher – a medium sized battleship, is full of muzzles and is the nemesis of Frigates. It generally surrounds the Flagship from being attacked by the Frigate. It also has powerful artillery able to strike a planet crust.
Frigate – a small battleship, flexible and fast, is the main battle force in the interstellar battlefield but their attack power is average and their defensive abilities are low. The advantage is the cost for its production is low and it can be mass produced.
Destroyer – also a small battleship, but is a battleship among battleships with high attack power and flexibility. However, it depends on whether the pilot has the ability to operate it (Major Robin is a good pilot), because it’s operation difficulty is the highest five stars.
Simply put it is the difference between Gree refrigerators and Haier refrigerators, if we change it to a battleship it will be, Gree Frigate, Haier Frigate [no

What? You say milk?3
There is no milk, =V= there is only a transport ship, which is specially used to transport materials to warehouses.
