“Can I go back to the room after eating?”

“………”

After getting permission from the Lieutenant Colonel Via whose face did not look so good, Miao Te had a full meal in the cafeteria. Then he obediently returned to his little room and lay straight on the bed.

After a short while, he squinted and happily prepared to sleep in the soft and comfortable bed. But just when he was sleeping comfortably, a sudden sharp ringing awakened him from his dream. The door of the room opened automatically while he was stumbling to get up.

Miao Te sat on the bed kneeling and he looked at the soldier who came into his room without prior notice, his eyes blank.

“Get up at once, Lord Major General called for you.” The young soldier said solemnly, standing in an upright posture in front of his bed.

“……What?”

And thus, Miao Te was dug out of the bed by force.

He was carried expressionlessly by the soldiers as they walked pass the metal corridors layer by layer, from the bottom to the top.

Whenever someone has to pass through a single layer, a detailed inspection must be done, especially when the destination is the top floor. Therefore, he was taken to a small special room and was scanned by blue light from head to toe for ten minutes, he was even sprayed a bunch of white mist with a medicinal smell at the end—Miao Te guessed that it was disinfecting his entire body.

The higher the floor, the fewer the number of rooms and naturally, this means that these rooms are larger and has better environment.

After half an hour, under the lead of the three soldiers he passed five levels and cut down six generals (1) and has finally reached his destination.

When he reached the top floor, the teenager can’t help but open his mouth after a glance.

…The limitless borders of humanity!1

Thinking of the small dormitories less than ten square meters lined up in the bottom floor, Miao Te only had these four words in his head.

On this top floor where he is standing, there is only one huge room occupying most of the space on this floor. For the remaining space, rare green plants and light purple vines are constructed into the ship to resemble a quiet place courtyard-like space with the beautiful starry sky as its background.

They can obviously walk in a straight line for more than ten meters to reach the silver metal gate, but the soldiers took Miao Te around a big bend and walked in an arc to reach the door. The teenager thought it was a little strange, but looking at the soldiers’ firm expression he didn’t dare ask and only followed them obediently.

It was unknown to him that along the places they just passed by, there were countless thin beams of light that could not be seen by the naked eye, sweeping continuously around that room, interwoven into a dense laser net.

No matter how tough it is, as long as it touched that invisible laser, the end result would be the tragedy of being torn apart.

And this stream of interwoven lasers is just one of the first-class security devices in this room.

As soon as they stood in front, the metal door slid open to one side.

Miao Te walked in behind the soldiers. Then he looked up and saw a familiar figure.

Inside the spacious room, the young major general sat on a dark black sofa. He wasn’t wearing his usual military coat with the silver and black pattern, instead he was only wearing a simple white shirt with neckline opened down until the second button, revealing a beautifully curved neck that was usually covered by the raised collar of the military uniform during the day. The wet hair followed along the arc of his snow-white neck into the slightly open shirt neckline, damping it a little. A little water vapor remained on the young man’s skin making it glow lightly under the light. Snow-white skin, starry eyes, thin pink lips, even the most critique artist can’t pick out flaws from this delicate art-like face.

The young major general sat there and gazed up at him silently.

The slightly raised corners of his eyes drew a sharp arc when he looked over, those inky-dark blue pupils bringing with it an indescribable sense of oppression causing inexplicable coldness to a person.

The soldier who led Miao Te nervously clenched his fist and put it on top of his chest in a military salute, and immediately retreated. The metal door closed automatically, leaving alone a shy teenager staring blankly at the person opposite him.

…… Major General don’t act so cold in your bedroom okay? No one can see you.

Miao Te couldn’t help voicing in his heart as he looked at the major general who makes people nervous just by seeing him. But of course, he still has something called IQ, so he would absolutely be afraid to say such a thing.

To be honest, although he appears a little timid in front of this powerful and capable handsome Major General, he didn’t really fear the other side. The reason why he behaved so timidly was because he thought that after all, he still had to rely on this major general’s long legs to survive in this era so he needs to be obedient through and through.

Under the direction of the young major general’s gaze, the teenager sat obediently beside Taylor. He looked sideways at the man who had called him for some reason tonight and blinked, asking with his eyes why the other person brought him here.

Taylor seemed to want to speak as his thin lips moved, but he did not speak. He pondered for a moment, thinking about his purpose and how to organize his words to better express it. He frowned as he pondered. For him, who is not good at expressing his emotions, this matter is a bit difficult He wasn’t aware of it, but this frown startled the teenager who had been staring at him.

Is golden thigh dissatisfied with me?

The youth thought nervously.

However, he hadn’t finished thinking about it yet, when after frowning for a long time and still not coming up with a better choice of words, the young major general on the other side was annoyed and decided to speak frankly to achieve his goal.

Taylor raised his head and looking at the teenager beside him, he spoke, “I want to harmonize with you.”

“What-?”

So you can’t sleep in the middle of the night and called me over for this? To watch a 5D stereoscopic earth image like that guy with red hair?

Is it worthwhile—

The teenager thought that he really couldn’t understand the brain circuits of these future humans.

“No?” Seeing Miao Te’s response, the Major General’s frowned.

“No, it’s not-” Seeing that handsome face frown again, the stunned Miao Te quickly shook his head and nodded after shaking his head. “Sure, no problem.” He answered lightly.

Golden thigh just wanted to borrow his spiritual consciousness to watch a 5D three-dimensional image of the earth. Such a simple request, how could he not agree? Miao Te thought.

It’s also good to be able to score favorability points with gold thigh, isn’t it?

He doesn’t know if it was an illusion but after agreeing to it, Miao Te felt that he had read pleasure in the eyes of the major general who always shows very little expression.

He stared at the man’s eyes in a daze. In the endless depths of blue, there were light traces of black ink and the edge of the irises were shimmering as if the starry sky has fallen into these eyes. At this moment, his clear pupils reflected the young man’s face.

The young major general looked at him as his white fingers stretched out and stroked his neck, then his fingertips slowly touched his neck as it moved towards his nape.

A bit itchy, Miao Te couldn’t help tilting his head. Because the man’s fingers looked white and slender, he didn’t expect that there would be a thin layer of calluses on his fingertips, which tickled his neck.

He was about to protest when suddenly, a clicking sound rang out. An icy metal piece was pressed against his nape. He had not responded yet when the metal piece unfolded into a semi-circular arc, encircling his neck halfway.

“………”

Fortunately, it’s only halfway. Miao Te couldn’t help thinking about it. If it circled around, wouldn’t it be a collar? That would be too heavy of a taste.

Taylor watched the brown-haired boy constantly reaching out to touch the silver-white half metal ring on his neck, looking unaccustomed. The youth had his head in a bow, and looking down, he could see that his eyes were blinking constantly and the soft eyelashes were constantly fluttering, it was unknown if the reason his lips were slightly pursed was because of tension. He suddenly couldn’t help but stretch his hand and rub the child’s head.

The child raise his head and looked at him blankly, his eyes wide. The black pupils were bright, reflecting his face clearly.

He rubbed the child’s head again. “Take it easy.” He said, “Relax your mind.” He reached out and laid the child’s head on his shoulder. “Accept, don’t resist me.”

“………”

“How?”

“… No, it doesn’t matter.”

Major General, is it really okay to be so ambiguous?

Taylor pressed something with his right hand on the half-metal ring around the child’s neck causing the metal ring to glow slightly. The bluish-black metal ring on his wrist lit up at almost the same time.

The light of the two metal rings unfolded like a silk thread and moved towards each other, the countless silk threads blended together little by little.

Miao Te, who had been trying to break free after being pressed on Taylor’s shoulders, was stunned the moment he saw these threads of light. His eyes were wide as countless light threads unfolded in front of his eyes. He watched as the pale-white thread of light that extended from his neck and the dark-blue thread of light that extended from the other’s hand tangled together, melting into a light blue hue.

Just after most of the silk threads were fused together, a sudden strong bout of drowsiness struck and Miao Te couldn’t resist causing him fell asleep on Taylor’s shoulder.

……………………

When the youth opened his eyes, he saw an endless cosmic starry sky as he floats in the universe.

He hesitated for a moment and immediately reacted. He should be inside the consciousness of the cold-faced Major General.

He moved his head and looked around. Unlike his imagination, this person’s mental state is not as cold as the person’s appearance.

What he saw was deep darkness expanding endlessly, stained with blue ink that looked like a swirling arc. But it wasn’t pure darkness; it was more like a starry sky, deep and mysterious. It quietly envelops you in an inexplicable blue and black starry sky.

Miao Te was still looking at this world of starry universe with some confusion when suddenly; the scenery in front of him twisted and stretched causing him to be dizzy for a while and when he regained consciousness, he saw that he was still floating in the cosmic starry sky, but there was now a familiar giant blue planet that appeared in front of him. Compared to pictures, what he sees in front was so real.

Staring at the slowly orbiting blue planet like this, the reality of being in the universe while watching the planet he lived in for a long time, seemed to sink in.

The boy was still looking at the beautiful blue planet without blinking when suddenly a force of attraction hit him. The force of attraction was so huge that it seemed like he was going to be pulled down.

It can’t be. He thought in a panic. Is there also gravity in the universe? As his thoughts were going wild, he tried to desperately get out of the suction. But somehow, the more he panicked, the greater the force of attraction. No matter how hard he tried to break away, he will be pulled back down—

“Calm down.”

The sudden low sound was like the coldness of a river in early winter, but at this moment Miao Te felt that it sounded just like heavenly music.

“Don’t be drawn in subconsciously.” The voice said in his ear. At the same moment when the voice sounded, a hand stretched out from behind and clasped around his waist, hugging him.

Miao Te, who was desperately fighting against that suction force, was almost in a panic subconsciously. He turned around at once and stretched out his hands as if grabbing a life-saving straw, tightly embracing the shoulder of the person who caught him.

After seizing support behind him, he was able to settle down. The suction force that was dragging him down immediately disappeared the moment he calmed down. Miao Te was relieved. He turned his head and was faced with a pair of slender phoenix eyes. The owner of those eyes was also looking at him and holding him, the two of them hugged together and was floating in the universe.

His hands were stubbornly climbing on the shoulders of the other person and he was pulling on the clothes of the other person’s shoulders so much that they wrinkled the white shirt’s sleeves.

His brain crashed instantly at that second. Miao Te couldn’t figure out what was going on for a while. And just as he was still stunned and unable to respond, the young major general holding him glanced down and suddenly gave a soft sigh.

Looking at the other person’s slightly meaningful eyes, Miao Te instinctively looked down following the direction of the other’s gaze.

WTF! Why am I naked?!

The author has something to say:

Some small information about this chapter:

One of the types of battleships: Flagship – a general’s battleship.

This is the so-called large-scale ship that is dedicated to Boss. Only officers above the general rank are eligible to own it.

Ordinary Flagships are generally ships with balanced fire-power, defense, and offense. However, due to the different personalities and fighting methods of each officer, they will make changes to their own ships according to their preferences. There is a big difference in Flagship performance.

Each Flagship has its own special title for its owner. For example, Major General Taylor’s Flagship is [Ishtar], which uses the name of the goddess of war. Its performance is fast and powerful famous for sex…. and what the title of a flagship is famous for depends on its owner … Anyway, Ishtar is quite famous in the empire.
