"Using mental power as a guide to stimulate one's own magic? Magic is a form of energy without any attributes, a special kind of energy that wizards control... So, magic itself has no combat power at all?" It was already the fifth day for Green and his group in the Zelato port. This morning, Green successfully stimulated his own magic according to the 'Meditation Guidance.'

This made Green excited for the whole day.

However, Green was soon hindered by another problem: a wizard apprentice who hasn't mastered magical knowledge is essentially useless, even if they possess magic.

A wizard's magic is a wondrous energy with infinite malleability, capable of guiding any known energy. However, in its essence, magic is a gentle and harmless energy, making it difficult to directly apply in combat or cause destruction.

"Knowledge... How can I obtain knowledge?" Green was troubled by this question, lying on the table and pulling at his hair in frustration. After Lafey cast a spell, Green and the other wizard apprentices were stimulated, filled with a longing for the wondrous magic.

"Green, Green!" A loud voice came from the courtyard of the small manor. Without even looking, Green knew that Binhamson had arrived.

Slightly annoyed, Green had never met anyone as talkative as this guy, and now he felt a headache just hearing his voice. However, since he was currently troubled by the issue of magical knowledge, he decided to see what this guy wanted at such a late hour.

"I'm coming." Green put away the 'Magic Guidance,' extinguished the candle, and walked out the door.

"What's wrong?" Green straightened his clothes and asked in surprise.

Over the past few days, Green had received some benefits in the cities he passed through and had bought himself two sets of luxurious and well-fitting clothes. As the saying goes, 'clothes make the man.' With his golden curly hair casually draped behind him, a deep and solemn expression between his brows, and a hint of wildness from growing up among beggars, he had a unique charm, at least enough to no longer make his teammates Lafey and Wade avoid him.

"Hehe, have you heard of the Zelato Dark Well?" Binhamson said mysteriously.

"Hmm? Dark Well? What's it for?" Green had barely left his small manor these past few days, focusing entirely on studying the 'Meditation Guidance,' which is why he successfully stimulated his body's magic.

"Better if you haven't heard of it. Come, come, come, you'll know when you get there. I guarantee it will be unforgettable." Binhamson pulled Green and ran, as if afraid he would run away.

The manor assigned to Green was in a relatively quiet area of the Zelato port, with a dozen or so manors scattered around. Being able to have a manor here meant one was either a wealthy merchant or a noble, and it was quiet at this time.

Green was a bit puzzled. Binhamson's father was a noble baron, so Binhamson had seen some of the world. What could make this guy so mysterious?

Passing through a bustling market, it had to be said that the prosperity of the Zelato port far exceeded that of Bisel City. The cries of vendors rose and fell, the lights were bright, and even at night, there was a constant flow of people. There were even many overseas merchants and goods for sale, and the girls' clothing was much more revealing.

Unlike Bisel City, where after nightfall, the streets were empty except for large banquets held among the nobility.

Breathless, Binhamson pulled Green to a large manor with dense trees. This manor was much larger than the one assigned to Green. Occasionally, groups of young people would laugh and walk out, looking surprised.

Binhamson led Green to a small, mysterious house. The moonlight cast shadows of the giant trees on the windows, swaying in the wind, and the atmosphere inside the house was somewhat oppressive. After Binhamson handed over twenty gold coins, an old woman with a wrinkled face trembled and handed him two transparent stones. Her cloudy eyes glanced at the two of them, and her uneven yellow teeth showed as she said, "Enjoy yourselves."

Green still didn't understand. Binhamson handed him a stone and grinned, "See those wells over there? That's the Dark Well. Just throw this Dark Stone into the well, and you can meet a life from another world. Of course, some unlucky guys have encountered some strange creatures, but overall, it's very exciting."

Hearing this new thing, Green also became interested. There were about seventy to eighty wells in the courtyard, and about half were already occupied. Some were whispering to the wells, and laughter could be heard from time to time.

Seeing Binhamson excitedly run to a well, Green casually weighed the Dark Stone in his hand and walked to a well that no one was around.

The well water was high, only about seventy centimeters from the ground, calm like a mirror. The hazy moonlight scattered on the water, adding a touch of mystery. Feeling a mix of excitement and nervousness, Green threw the Dark Stone into the well. With a splash, the Dark Stone created ripples on the water and then sank, the surface gradually calming.

To Green's surprise, a blurry shadow appeared on the water, looking at him curiously.

This was a humanoid creature with a long gray horn on its head. Judging by human gender characteristics, it was likely a female. It seemed to have its own civilization, and its eyes looked at Green with a discerning attitude, not the irrational and vicious nature of a savage race.

"A human from the Wizard World?" A somewhat unfamiliar voice entered Green's ears.

Although Green could hear the creature's questioning voice, he was certain that it wasn't through his ears but through some special means that allowed him to directly perceive the creature's thoughts.

"Who are you?" Green asked.

The creature in the well frowned when it saw Green speak. Then, Green heard its voice again in his ears, "Human, don't you know that communication with life from another world is through the soul? The civilization of the Wizard World is powerful, but it hasn't spread to my world."

Green frowned, soul?

As a wizard apprentice who hadn't even received the most basic wizard knowledge, Green had no idea about the deeper aspects of soul usage. The language of the Wizard World was incomprehensible to the life from another world, and some strange creatures didn't even have hearing. Therefore, language as a means of communication was too weak for different life forms from other worlds.

The creature seemed to see Green's predicament and spoke again, "Alright, human, I'll ask you. Nod for yes, shake your head for no, okay?"

Green nodded.

"Um, are you a human from the Wizard World? Nod if you are, shake your head if you are a human left behind after the Wizard World conquered another world."

Green was shocked. The Wizard World conquering other worlds? Although he didn't know about these things, he was certain that he was a true human from the Wizard World. This was basic knowledge, so Green nodded.

"Then, are you a wizard? If you are, what rank are you?"

This time, Green shook his head without hesitation. What a joke, how could he be a wizard when he wasn't even a formal wizard apprentice?

He could feel the creature's disappointment, "Sigh, just an ordinary human? After going through so much trouble to get the coordinates of the Wizard World, it turns out to be such a weak human. Well, according to the principle of equal exchange between worlds, you can ask me two questions. But since you can't communicate through the soul, I'll assume you want to ask the same question. I am a Star Seed from the World Star, or the Star Seed Race, a fourth-rank Star Spirit, with an energy level equivalent to a second- to third-rank wizard in your Wizard World."

Then, the creature from the other world disappeared completely from the water, ignoring Green's reaction.

Perhaps this powerful life didn't want to waste time on such a weak human. Green awkwardly touched his nose and glanced at Binhamson.

Binhamson was excitedly leaning over the well, his head almost in the water.

About ten minutes later, Green and Binhamson joined the many young people who were whispering and leaving. Binhamson said excitedly, "The Snow Spirit on the other side was very surprised to see a human and even asked if I was a wizard. Ha, I told her I was a formal wizard right away."

"Could the other side understand what you were saying?" Green looked at Binhamson in surprise, not caring about his "dishonest" behavior of lying to the life from another world.

"Uh... What do you mean? Didn't the life on your side understand what you were saying?" Binhamson looked at Green in equal surprise, his expression incredulous.

Back at the manor, Green kept recalling the life from the other world in the Dark Well. Although he had learned from other wizard apprentices that there were countless lives in other worlds besides his own Wizard World, and that if two lives from different worlds met in reality, they would often not be friendly, this magical experience of communicating with a life from another world was significant to Green.

Right, the strange creatures that appeared during the wizard apprentice qualification test, were they also lives from other worlds? What kind of talent is this?

Green had countless questions in his mind.
