Divine light soared into the sky, golden auspicious clouds swirling around.
A mountain peak, piercing the heavens, lay ahead, its four sides sheer and precipitous, topped with scenic clouds and connected to the earth’s veins below, standing majestically alone like a cloud terrace.
Below, a dangerous path led through a ravine, the peak’s summit formed by a group of massive rocks, naturally and ingeniously joined, a masterpiece of nature. The southern side of the peak was a sheer cliff, straight and sheer, leading to a deep chasm below.
Yang Qifeng and Daze Mountain God stood side by side, their faces expressionless. After standing there for a long time, Yang Qifeng moved his lips and spoke, "We will surely win this battle!"
"We will surely win this battle!"
The two reinforced their resolve. Yang Qifeng looked at the three hundred demon soldiers behind him, and with a wave of his hand, they all vanished without a trace.
A military token continuously spun in Yang Qifeng’s hand. He continued, "The token’s effectiveness lasts only one hour. The infiltration will depend on the Mountain Lord."
A beam of light flashed, and Yang Qifeng transformed into a long strand of hair, gently falling into Daze Mountain God’s long hair, completely blending in, leaving no trace.
Daze Mountain God said nothing, transforming into a beam of golden light and heading straight for the main peak of Daze Mountain.
At the main peak of Daze Mountain, the Holy Viewing Platform,
Covering a thousand acres, paved with green stones, the surroundings were lush and verdant.
In the center of the Holy Viewing Platform, the East Mountain God sat cross-legged, floating on golden auspicious clouds.
The clouds intertwined, resembling a golden lotus.
In front of him was a seal, emitting a brilliant divine light that shot into the sky, forming a pillar of light.
His eyes were slightly closed, but suddenly opened, a beam of divine light bursting from them.
Seeing the divine light approaching from afar, he curled his lips, a cold smile appearing on his face as he watched the light approach.
"Mountain Lord, you have finally come. I have been waiting for you for a long time," the East Mountain God said loudly, a proud look on his face, looking at Daze Mountain God with disdain.
Though he said he had been waiting, his attitude was extremely rude and arrogant.
"There’s no need for such empty words between us. Where are your hidden troops? Call them out," Daze Mountain God, clad in golden armor, stood with his hands clasped, holding a long spear, and said coldly.
"There’s no need to waste effort on a defeated dog like you," the East Mountain God said with a mocking tone, looking at Daze Mountain God with disdain.
"Full of lies, you haven’t changed. I’ve come all this way without encountering any obstacles. Given my understanding of you, if there were no hidden troops, you wouldn’t be sitting here so calmly," Daze Mountain God said with a cold smile.
"Mountain Lord doesn’t believe me?" The East Mountain God stood up, the golden auspicious clouds beneath him dissipating. He continued, "It’s rare for me to be honest, yet no one believes me."
"Rise!" The East Mountain God struck the seal in front of him, a beam of divine light bursting forth. The light that had been shooting into the sky suddenly scattered, quickly enveloping the main peak.
A brilliant golden light shone, radiating in all directions.
In the distance, a series of tremors occurred, and array flags appeared.
"This is your honesty, truly laughable," Daze Mountain God scanned the surroundings, seeing the divine light blocking all escape routes, and said with disdain, "I came this time with no intention of fleeing. You’ve gone to great lengths to arrange your forces to block all exits. This is unnecessary."
"With their help, you are bound to lose. Now, it’s just the two of us, and you are no match for me," Daze Mountain God raised his spear and said proudly.
He had the capital to be proud. Although he had been demoted from his divine position, Daze Mountain God’s strength had fallen, but his realm had not. At the Immortal realm, combined with his Primordial Spirit power, he could sweep away enemies at the Primordial Spirit realm. Now, his strength had advanced further, reaching the peak of the Primordial Spirit realm, and he could even face enemies at the Thunder Tribulation stage.
As he spoke, Daze Mountain God made his move.
The divine light around him was restrained, concealing all intentions of attack. He suddenly struck, and the spear thrust was truly unexpected, silent and sudden, like a thunderclap in the silence!
The spear was like a dragon, its fangs and claws bared, roaring through the world.
In the dim light, a dragon about ten feet long streaked by, its scales and claws vivid and lifelike.
Crack!
The divine light exploded, surging in the air. The East Mountain God’s figure was silent and still, the spear easily piercing through.
But it was just an illusion, and the spear was ineffective.
"How could you cultivate the Nine Nether Illusion and divine power, which are diametrically opposed?" Daze Mountain God’s face turned grim as he thrust his spear again, piercing through another illusion, and exclaimed.
The surroundings grew dim, and a thin beam of light suddenly appeared amidst the darkness. A figure drifted and moved continuously.
"Is anything impossible in this world? Everything is possible," a leisurely voice echoed from all around, but there was no fixed position.
A sharp long sword silently and stealthily thrust out.
The sword was so silent that there was no sign of any anomaly.
Daze Mountain God was completely unaware. He twisted his spear, and a vast divine light swept out from his body.
The sword moved forward, piercing Daze Mountain God’s back. In front of him, everything was illusory, with dark shadows swirling.
At this moment, a beam of light flashed from Daze Mountain God’s long hair.
A hand emerged, covered in feathers as black as ink, holding a black knife. The body swayed, and a figure appeared out of nowhere.
The body expanded to about ten feet tall, with primordial energy gathering, muscles bulging, exuding a sense of power.
The arms, now thicker and larger, were tensed, and the hands held the knife, swinging it down with great force.
Midday Sun!
The sword technique was hot and fierce, like the scorching sun at noon.
Beams of light radiated, and the knife’s aura spread, instantly enveloping a ten-foot radius.
The black knife merged with the heavens and earth, gathering spiritual energy, transforming into flames.
Golden flames spewed out, igniting the surrounding air, and a vast sea of fire enveloped every green stone.
Yang Qifeng did not directly choose to block the attack but instead used a strategy to attack the East Mountain God, forcing him to cancel his own attack.
The illusion did not retreat but advanced further, the sword emitting a cold aura, mysterious and profound, continuing to move forward.
The illusions, encountering the flames, were instantly burned away.
Daze Mountain God twisted his body and thrust his spear, the sound of the spear resounding as it pierced just a foot in front of the illusion.
The two worked together, forming a killing formation.
Breaking the sky, breaking the earth, breaking all enemies.
This spear thrust’s power increased tenfold, the realm manifesting, captivating the heart.
There was no place to hide, no way to avoid it. The only option was to face it head-on.
The surrounding air stagnated, and the killing intent surged, the sharp aura piercing through the heavens and earth.
