Lying in bed, Qiping tossed and turned; although he had indeed seen many beautiful sights along the way, he had also temporarily forgotten some things amidst the beautiful scenery.

However, in the quaint little inn, looking at Vini who was snoring soundly in his arms, Qiping really couldn't fall asleep, no matter what. Now, every time he closed his eyes, he didn't recall the beautiful scenery along the Pacific Coast Highway. Instead, he saw only Kate's beautiful face and her captivating smile.

Of course, what made it hardest for Qiping to breathe was that bouquet of flowers and Kate's happy embrace of them.

He finally managed to fall asleep, but only to have a dream. Qiping, who usually slept soundly until dawn without a care, woke up from the dream, took a big gulp of water, and suddenly made up his mind. The dream reminded him and strongly motivated him.

Holding the still sleeping Vini and King, Qiping was ready to set off; for his brother's lifelong happiness, he believed these little brothers would support him. Indeed, there was no problem. Vini and King just opened their eyes and continued to sleep; while Liangshanbo and Zhu Yingtai, after making a couple of cries, obediently stood on Qiping's shoulders.

The most reliable were Dong, Nan, Xi, and Bei. They woke up from their sleep on the floor, and upon seeing Qiping clap his hands, they immediately followed.

They set off, even though it was only 4 a.m., and most people were still sleeping. But for Qiping, it was time. He couldn't continue to hesitate and delay. Now, he needed to do what he should do; he didn't want to leave any regrets.

He had a dream, a dream about Kate. Kate smiled and looked back at Qiping, but she was getting farther and farther away. No matter how fast Qiping ran with the bouquet of flowers, he couldn't catch up to Kate.

Qiping felt that Kate would be his best choice; he was sure they would be a good match. Although he had no experience in love, it didn't mean he had no desire to fall in love. Now, it was indeed time to fall in love, and Qiping felt that his life needed to enter a new stage.

The time spent with Kate had been very pleasant, even though they hadn't gone on dates. But they had known each other for a long time and had talked about many topics. So Qiping had the confidence that their personalities were actually quite compatible, and they would have many wonderful moments together.

Although Qiping and Kate mostly communicated by phone, and although Qiping found it difficult to develop their relationship further, he did feel a bit discouraged. He always thought he didn't need to rush, and that steady progress was the most reliable way for him.

Gradual progress was indeed a good strategy, and slowly building up feelings was a good choice. But now, if things continued like this, it would be a complete disaster. Kate had received many suitors, and Qiping's "competitors" seemed to be very strong.

If he continued to "go with the flow" without much enthusiasm, he might really miss Kate. For Qiping, this would definitely be a regretful thing. He felt he needed to make an effort, no matter what. Even if the final result wasn't satisfactory, he didn't want to leave any regrets.

He wished he could immediately be in San Diego, but a half-day drive was indeed not short. Although the speed on the road trip wasn't fast, Qiping knew it was impossible to fly to San Diego immediately. He needed to make the most of his time, which was what he should do now.

"Guys, I'm sorry, I have something to take care of, something important that needs to be resolved now!" At a fast-food restaurant on the street in Los Angeles, Qiping bought some breakfast and called Steve and the others. "I met a girl, and if I don't confess to her, I think I might regret it for the rest of my life!"

Steve and the others clearly didn't expect Qiping's sudden departure to be for this reason. Honestly, they were a bit unhappy at first. Everyone was enjoying a pleasant road trip together, but Qiping's sudden departure was definitely a downer.

But now, knowing that Qiping had left in the middle of the night to confess to a girl, although Steve and the others were more of playboys, they sincerely congratulated Qiping. More than that, they felt that a road trip could happen anytime, but a good friend was now pursuing a girl, and they might be able to cheer him on.

Qiping declined Steve and the others' offer. They were well-intentioned, but Qiping felt it wasn't appropriate for now. He knew Kate's personality a bit, and it wasn't the right time to make a big fuss.

He continued driving, but suddenly felt that his past actions were somewhat inappropriate. Especially when Qiping passed a flower shop, he suddenly knew what he needed.

"Prepare a bouquet of roses for me; I need to confess to a girl. If you can, I hope you can fill my car with roses. This is very important!" Qiping got out of the car. Since he was confessing to Kate, he didn't mind making a big scene. Whether romantic or luxurious, Qiping didn't want to leave any regrets.

Although sitting in a pile of flowers, King, Vini, and the others didn't feel uncomfortable. At this moment, Qiping also had some ideas. This time, when he confessed to Kate, King and the others could actually provide a lot of help.

"I'll tell you again, present the flowers! Especially King, you are the most familiar with Kate, and she likes you." Looking at the various heads around him, Qiping felt that King was the most reliable.

Although Dong, Nan, Xi, and Bei were very smart, these things were still difficult for them. As for Vini, the little guy was too small, and he had only met Kate once. As for Liangshanbo and Zhu Yingtai, they were already eating the roses, which was enough to declare them unsuitable as "flower bearers."

Although Qiping had already mustered up his courage and was constantly thinking of better "lines," he felt he was thoroughly prepared. However, as he slowly approached San Diego, Qiping began to get more and more nervous, feeling his heart beating faster.

Although Qiping had never been in love, he had experience confessing to girls; he had done it in junior high and high school. Confessing was not unfamiliar to him.

But Qiping now understood more clearly that this time was serious and very important to him. This was a mature man's emotional experience, not the youthful restlessness of a young boy. Qiping was sure he wasn't just playing around; he wanted a relationship, a perfect and happy love.

He took a deep breath and carefully checked his appearance. Although he wasn't dressed formally, he couldn't look completely unkempt.

Although he made the decision after waking up and it seemed a bit impulsive, for Qiping, even if he was now a bit nervous, he couldn't back down. This gave him the true courage to take this crucial step.

This was the most critical moment. He saw the kindergarten, and even saw Kate. Taking a deep breath, even though he was a bit anxious and nervous, Qiping still took this crucial step.

For Qiping, not leaving any regrets was the most important thing. Making an effort to strive and to try was what Qiping felt he should do.
