"Wow! This is so cool, Qi! Did you see Lake Muse? It's like a sapphire embedded in the forest!" Kate excitedly gazed at the beautiful scenery outside the helicopter. It was indeed amazing.

"We're going to fly over the forest now; it will definitely be interesting!" Qi Ping was actually very happy too. After the helicopter was finally delivered following adjustments, he could take Kate for a ride. As for Joshua, he could only look on enviously from the ground for now; this particular helicopter couldn't carry many people.

The two of them were indeed having a great time. They flew over the vegetable garden, saw the house, and then flew over Lake Muse, heading to the top of the forest. Looking down at the lush, dense forest, it was incredibly exciting and full of anticipation.

"Guys, you can't forget about me!" Joshua felt he was the most pitiful. He thought Qi was a jerk who had forgotten about his buddy to please his girlfriend. He and Qi Ping were buddies, Joshua firmly believed. "You've been out for over two hours!"

"Sorry, we'll set out after lunch. I'll take you to see the beautiful scenery of the forest. Buddy, go help me prepare the beef now; we need to start the barbecue." Qi Ping looked at Joshua, hoping the kid would behave. "You've shelled a lot of edamame, which is great. I'll make an edamame and egg soup for lunch. These tender edamame are perfect for soup."

Joshua was speechless. He had come over enthusiastically but was ignored, and worst of all, he was assigned to shell edamame. But to get a ride on the helicopter, Joshua endured it!

Joshua grumbled as he helped Kate. Their task was to prepare the barbecue and some grilled corn. King Kong really liked grilled corn, but it didn't need much oil or seasoning. Qi Ping, on the other hand, was making the edamame and egg soup. These were high-quality edamame from his small vegetable garden, though they were still very tender. But such edamame made the best soup.

Qi Ping felt very happy; his life was indeed becoming more and more fulfilling and exciting. He knew this was just a small beginning, and he believed his good days would only get better.

"Me! And me!" Liang Shanbo and Zhu Yingtai were anxious. They were usually the first to eat, but it didn't seem that way now. So the two newly learned to flutter and started "low-altitude" flying, though they still needed to land frequently. "Delicious!"

"Haha, Qi! Look what you've taught them—eat and play, that's all they know. Sorry, I forgot, they are quite mischievous." Joshua gloated as he watched Winnie clinging to his leg for meat and the other rascals at home.

Qi Ping found the situation a bit helpless. The little ones were indeed very mischievous. Being naughty was one thing, but Qi Ping didn't think it was a problem. As long as the little ones were happy, that was enough. As for the troubles they might bring, Qi Ping felt the joy outweighed the troubles.

"My next work plan is actually nothing. Perhaps I'll train Black Charcoal; it needs to learn to adapt to the saddle. It's a smart little guy, and I believe having such an excellent partner in this beautiful forest is more exciting than driving a car." Qi Ping took a sip of soup and nodded in satisfaction. He really didn't have any specific plans for the next work.

"We all know that your work is just a part of your life, but the bigger part is playing games and enjoying life." Kate affirmed that Qi Ping's lifestyle and attitude were something she agreed with, as he had the foundation and conditions for it.

"It's not just that, Kate. Look at my recent work schedule; I have a lot to handle every day. Although I don't need to worry about the vegetables, Lake Muse seems to be changing, and there's logging going on. I can't leave." Qi Ping chuckled, feeling proud of this.

"I really envy you now. I've heard that Lake Muse is becoming even more beautiful. What does Professor Bruce think? Perhaps the environment there will be even better than here?" Joshua pouted, feeling that Qi Ping's forest had enormous potential. Originally, everyone thought this vast forest might only have a few small areas with excellent environments, but now it seemed there were more.

"I believe there might still be great potential, but I don't think it can develop better. Actually, you might know, the areas with good environments in the forest are not much different. I'm looking forward to each point improving, so they can connect. Leading from point to area might be better for my forest." Qi Ping said half-jokingly, even though he and Kate were in a relationship, some things couldn't be revealed.

Kate was also very happy, as she knew the forest was entering another phase of rapid development.

Originally, everyone thought the most valuable parts of the forest were the vegetable garden and Qi Ping's house, as these were the only two places with exceptionally good environments. Now, the third area with a good environment, Lake Muse, which she and Qi Ping both loved, was starting to flourish.

Professor Bruce and his research team were now almost daily at Lake Muse, finding it quite incredible. The forest seemed to be developing in ways they couldn't fully explain.

Professor Bruce was now making some speculations, suggesting that the forest might be nurturing many good environments, with the ecosystem being top-notch. Due to some unknown factors, air that was more beneficial to humans and plants was spreading, and this was continuously expanding from the forest.

He could only make this conjecture, and many scientific theories required bold hypotheses.

Qi Ping didn't care; he felt this was beneficial to him with no drawbacks, and that was the most important thing. It seemed they had found a grand reason, and any future discoveries of areas with abundant energy in the forest would have a "scientific basis."

Looking at what Professor Bruce and his team were doing—studying soil and air composition—there were indeed many effects. The soil composition wasn't particularly special, but the air composition was clearly different. He and his team had a basic understanding of the air composition, but they couldn't recreate or simulate it.

Qi Ping was proudly showing off his forest, which was truly amazing. He felt the next step was to start developing Lake Muse. As for other areas, they could wait; he still had time, and for now, time was on his side.

"I don't want to see you; get out of my sight immediately!" When Qi Ping's helicopter landed, Professor Bruce was furious. Lake Muse had just been discovered to be improving, but the greedy landowner immediately stocked it with a significant number of salmon and bass. He was a businessman completely blinded by money, who didn't understand the importance of science.

"Guy, believe me, I won't ruin your research! You need more funds to study these wonders, and I need more funds to develop the forest. Our cooperation is great!" Qi Ping laughed heartily, knowing that many people now saw him as focused on the forest.

Wherever the environment was good, he would immediately develop it, not that he developed an area because it was good. This was a great misunderstanding, which would save him a lot of trouble.
