Chapter 33

5 min read1,200 words

Shirley obediently followed what Su Yuhao said, treating herself as the host. She bustled about like a little bee to entertain the guests, which made YURI and the others, who were visiting for the first time, feel a bit embarrassed. However, they couldn't refuse, as even though they wanted to help, the already cramped kitchen would only become more chaotic with an additional person. So, Tiffany and YURI had to sit obediently, watching the busy Shirley and Park Sun-yeon, and then observing the silent battle between the unwilling Crystal, who was sitting next to Sica, and Sica herself.

"Alright, Shirley! That's enough, sit down first! Didn't your oppa just say to relax? I feel really uncomfortable with you working so hard!" Tiffany reached out to pull Park Sun-yeon, who was by her side, and called out to Shirley, who was about to leave again.

"Ah, okay, unnie." Shirley didn't refuse, as she was almost done. She obediently sat down opposite YURI and Tiffany, looking at everyone without speaking.

"..." YURI couldn't bear the awkwardness, coughed, and then said, "Shirley, how long have you known Su Yuhao XI? You two seem so close, you're not related, are you!"

Shirley took a sip of orange juice, heard YURI's words, and shook her head: "We're not related, but although I haven't known oppa for long, he's really a good person, so I'm willing to be with him. And, oppa says I'm as cute as the little sister in his dreams, hehe." Shirley felt very happy thinking about what Su Yuhao had said to her that day.

"..., Indeed, he's a lolicon, and you still deny it." Listening to Shirley's words, Sica said to Crystal again.

"Hmph..." Crystal didn't speak, just huffed in dissatisfaction.

YURI and Tiffany didn't know how to resolve the situation, as the Queen of Ice's anger wasn't something they could easily calm. They could only change the topic again.

"But, why do I feel like he and Song Qian unnie have a good relationship? Is it just because they're from the same place?" Tiffany asked, looking thoughtful.

"I'm still puzzled about how unnie and oppa met. The first time I saw oppa, they seemed very unfamiliar. No matter how much I asked, V Mama wouldn't tell me the truth. But I'm sure they hadn't met before coming to Korea, because the impression at the airport was too strong." Shirley, hearing that someone finally thought about this question, quickly shared her thoughts.

"That's strange. If they weren't familiar, why would Song Qian unnie go to the airport to pick someone up? There must be some secret we don't know." Tiffany stated her judgment.

"Who cares? Not knowing each other doesn't mean they're not friends. After all, it's the internet age. People who aren't friends in real life can be friends online. Don't you have many such friends, like your old James?" Sica said indifferently.

"..." Tiffany's eyes lit up, looking at Sica with surprise, as if amazed by her performance.

"Alright, stop fooling around. We shouldn't just sit here. Let's see if we can help with something! Since it's our first time here, sitting like this makes me uncomfortable." YURI, looking at Sica and Tiffany, expressed her thoughts.

"But what can we do? Go to the kitchen to help? Forget it! I don't know anything about Chinese cuisine, and neither do you two!" Tiffany's question sounded more like a statement that didn't need an answer.

"Um, yeah! Right... ." YURI couldn't think of anything else.

"Hey, Shirley, what's in the bag you just brought in? It doesn't seem like food!" YURI, remembering something, asked Shirley.

"Oh, that! We saw that oppa's living supplies were incomplete, so we bought some decorations and some daily necessities to help oppa decorate the room." Shirley explained their plan.

"Then what are we waiting for? Let's start!" YURI stood up energetically, ready to get to work.

"That's not right! After all, you're seniors." Shirley turned to look at the kitchen, which was now closed by a glass door, and said worriedly.

"It's fine. Since we're here for a meal, we should contribute, even if it's just to pay for the food." YURI was very assertive, completely taking control of the living room situation.

"Alright then!" Shirley said happily and ran into the bedroom to get the large package.

"Wow, sky-blue curtains, dark blue simple wardrobe, and even a sea-blue bed cover! Oh my God, who prepared all this? Why are they all blue? Where's the pink? My favorite pink isn't here!" Tiffany, looking at the items, pouted in dissatisfaction. YURI, standing next to her, felt the urge to strangle her and just poked her forehead.

"Ouch, YURI, what are you doing!" Tiffany rubbed her forehead, looking at YURI angrily.

"Hey, silly T, this isn't your room, why should it have your favorite color? You're really embarrassing yourself!" Sica, watching from the side, couldn't stand Tiffany's behavior.

"Ah... ." Tiffany finally realized how embarrassing her behavior was.

YURI, seeing the now blushing Tiffany, teased her: "Silly T, you really like pink, don't you?"

"Of course, don't you know that?"

"Then, do you want to make this place pink too?" YURI continued to tempt her.

"Can I? Really, can I?" Tiffany's eyes sparkled as she looked at YURI.

"Of course, you can completely turn this place into your favorite pink world." YURI said with certainty.

"Really, you're not lying to me?"

"No, I'm not!"

"Great."

"However, you need to meet one condition." YURI said hesitantly.

"What condition?" Tiffany was puzzled and asked.

"Dumb, silly T, when you become the lady of the house, you can do this, right? I think he won't refuse your request then!" Jessica, who couldn't stand it anymore, spoke up.

"Ah~, YURI, you..." Tiffany, hearing Sica's words, glared at YURI angrily and then ignored her, helping the other members organize things.

YURI, who had successfully teased Tiffany, saw that she wasn't playing around like in the dorm but was ignoring her, which made her a bit confused. She didn't know why Tiffany was acting this way and turned to Sica, wanting to ask why silly T was like this.

Sica, seeing YURI's gaze, understood her thoughts, said nothing, but pointed to YURI's back and then started helping to organize things.

YURI, puzzled by the reactions of the two, turned around, suddenly froze, and her slightly tanned cheeks turned red. Then, she quickly ran into the bedroom.

"Ha ha, that's satisfying! You teased me, now you got what you deserved!" Tiffany, seeing YURI's reaction, laughed happily.

"Silly T, why are you laughing? You've been designated to someone by someone!" Jessica sometimes really couldn't understand silly T's thinking. This idea of hurting the enemy a thousand and hurting oneself eight hundred, she could still come up with.

"..., Yeah!" Tiffany, still laughing, suddenly froze, and her cute expression made everyone in the room very happy. It also included someone who quietly returned to the kitchen. PS: I came back a bit late today, so I'm sending the unedited chapter. I'll update three times tomorrow to make up for today's lack.
