Before long, they arrived at a jewelry boutique. Under the enthusiastic introduction of the salesperson, Su Yuhao chose the most expensive set of jewelry in the store, a set called "In Love," which included a necklace, bracelet, and crystal earrings. Su Yuhao had fallen in love with this set the first time he saw it, so he bought it. Then, he took a call and bid farewell to the two women before leaving.
Watching Su Yuhao leave, Tiffany couldn't help but be lost in thought. Seeing this, Choi Sooyoung frowned and, noticing a busy salesperson nearby, came to Tiffany's side. She hugged Tiffany and whispered in her ear, "Pani, do you... like Su Yuhao?"
Hearing Choi Sooyoung's words, Tiffany turned to look at her, puzzled. "Why do you ask, Sooyoung?"
"Because everything you've done since you met him shows that you don't see him as just a friend! We've practiced together for so long, and I know you well enough to say this. I've never seen you look at a guy like that before, so I guessed you might have feelings for him," Choi Sooyoung said sincerely.
"No, I don't!" Tiffany instinctively contradicted her, even waving her hands in denial, "I'm just jealous, yes, jealous."
"Jealous? Why are you jealous? What are you jealous of?" Choi Sooyoung asked, confused.
"I, I'm jealous... yes, jealous of the girl who makes oppa take her seriously." Tiffany felt uneasy and found herself unconsciously looking for reasons to explain herself, so she hurriedly defended herself.
"What's there to be jealous of? It's just a man buying something for a girl he likes. You'll meet a guy who treats you like that someday! Besides, what's so great about Su Yuhao that you're jealous of that girl?" Choi Sooyoung said dismissively.
"You don't know how amazing oppa is! He's kind, down-to-earth, hardworking, sincere with friends, and very caring. Plus, he's funny and a great cook. And you saw how he treated his girlfriend, right? He's only been working for less than a month, but he spent 1.5 million won on a gift for her, treating her like a treasure! That's why I'm envious!" Tiffany blurted out everything she had seen and heard the day before.
Hearing Tiffany's words, Choi Sooyoung, though still a bit skeptical, began to feel envious. "Really, is he as good as you say? Is his cooking really that delicious?" Clearly, the last part was what she cared about most.
"Really, if you don't believe me, you can ask Sica and Yuri when we get back. We all went to oppa's house for dinner yesterday, and it was unforgettable," Tiffany said, bringing Sica and Yuri into the conversation to vouch for her.
"Wow, so this guy is really great! He cooks, takes care of people, and is willing to spend money on his girlfriend! Wow, 1.5 million won! That's enough for a lot of barbecue! I'm really envious of you!" Choi Sooyoung couldn't help but imagine.
At that moment, a figure walked in and, hearing Choi Sooyoung's words, paused. Then, he approached the two girls and said, "Excuse me, I overheard your conversation. Could you tell me what the person who spent 1.5 million won here just bought?"
Tiffany looked at him warily, unsure why he was asking. Choi Sooyoung felt the same way.
"Oh, you might have misunderstood. I have no ill intentions. I'm just curious. I'm the jewelry designer here, and in my pricing, only one set of jewelry is priced at 1.5 million won. So, I just wanted to know if the oppa you mentioned bought that set," the man explained, understanding why the girls were wary.
"Oh, yes, we bought a set called 'In Love,'" Tiffany nodded in confirmation.
"Oh, I see! Please wait a moment." The man nodded and then turned to leave.
"Okay."
A short while later, the man returned with a pink box and handed it to Tiffany.
"..., What is this?" Tiffany looked at the man, puzzled, unsure what the box contained.
"Actually, this set of jewelry is part of the same collection as the one you mentioned. However, I've been keeping this set hidden and haven't put it on display, so the salesperson didn't know it existed. I thought no one would come and take the other set, but perhaps it's fate. Today, I happened to meet you here, so I decided to bring out this hidden set. Don't worry," the man explained.
"Really? Thank you." Tiffany bowed in gratitude.
"But since you've already sold the other set, why don't you make another one to complete the set?" Choi Sooyoung asked, puzzled.
"Actually, it can't be made again. This set was made by my ex-girlfriend for herself and me. Now that she's gone, the set has lost its meaning. Since the other half has been sold, the remaining part should go with it," the man said, gazing at the jewelry with longing. "Since I can't keep it, I'll find it a good home. I hope you'll take good care of it." He nodded at Tiffany and then turned to leave, leaving Tiffany and Choi Sooyoung, who were touched by his words.
"Um, he just left! What... should I do with this?" Tiffany looked at the pink box in her hands, unsure what to do.
"Come on, silly, when you see Su Yuhao oppa, just give it to him," Choi Sooyoung said straightforwardly.
Tiffany looked at the pink box, feeling a bit reluctant. The pink box seemed to be calling to her, urging her to open it and reveal the hidden beauty inside.
"Um, there's no harm in looking," Tiffany muttered to herself. She opened the box, and a pink card with the name of the jewelry set appeared.
"Stay Together," Tiffany murmured. She picked up the card, revealing the jewelry inside: a pair of rings, an ankle bracelet, a crystal crown, and a few crystal hairpins.
"Ah, so this set really does match the other one! Headpiece, earrings, necklace, bracelet, rings, ankle bracelet—wow, it's all so beautiful! Seeing this, I'm a bit jealous of that girl too," Choi Sooyoung said from the side.
Tiffany didn't hear Choi Sooyoung's words, completely captivated by the jewelry.
