Chapter 8

Firstly, I would like to thank everyone for watching Starlight. I am very happy about your attention, and here I will provide a simple explanation for some of the issues you have raised.
The first issue is the main character's young age and early graduation, which many of you find concerning. While I don't think it's necessary to be overly critical, since many of you see it as a contradiction, I will share some real-life examples to show that the main character is not a superhuman genius, but rather an ordinary person who is somewhat lucky.
You may or may not know that universities can have four-year programs, as well as three-year programs. If you filled out college applications, you might have noticed this. You can also look up information on this topic. The background I wrote is based on a three-year program.
In a three-year program, the actual time spent on campus is only two years, with the final year dedicated to internships. This means that the university life is only two years long, and when you start your internship, you are essentially entering society and are considered a graduate. This is a fact and forms the educational background of the main character. Since this has been questioned multiple times, I am providing a formal explanation here, hoping for your understanding.
The second issue is the recent plot in Chapter 213, where Long Yuxin invites Su Yuhao. Some readers found this setting unreasonable, so I will explain it here.
Firstly, I don't understand why you think this setting is unreasonable. Due to potential spoilers, I won't explain Long Yuxin's background in detail, but I will tell you that she is a princess from a wealthy family. To her, becoming a manager for Girls' Generation is just an interesting thing to do. She operates Girls' Generation with her own mindset and methods. Although she has heard and seen many things, she is still a novice without practical experience. Is it so hard to understand that a novice would handle problems in what she believes is the right way? Perhaps you are all elite members of society with very mature and rational thinking, and you demand a high level of reasonableness.
Regarding your concerns about S.M. Entertainment, this is not really an issue. Is it so hard to believe that a rich second-generation individual wouldn't have some privileges in a company? That's all I will say on this.
Finally, although this is a novel, it is written by a person from the real world, and it inevitably contains some emotions and traces of reality. If you don't like this book, please feel free to read other genres like light novels or beautiful prose. I have never claimed that this is that kind of novel.
Because the recent performance has not been ideal, I am a bit emotional. I hope those who follow this book can understand.
Lastly, if you like this book, find it worth reading, and want to give me feedback, please join the two QQ groups. I am often there, while I only check the book review section every few days due to its low activity.
