Overtime life is truly monotonous, especially in the entertainment industry. As a manager, one has to wake up earlier than the artists and worry about more things. However, this industry is also a great test of one's comprehensive abilities. During Liu Zaishi's program recording, Su Yuhao habitually kept checking his information, trying to analyze and formulate the most beneficial plan for himself. Although this habit was not long-standing, it had gradually become a part of him.
Although he was used to getting nothing, he was still somewhat disappointed. However, the disappointment was temporary, and he soon had to perk up because today's work was about to end.
On the way home, Su Yuhao finally relaxed and began to enjoy this brief moment of rest.
Perhaps the heavens still thought he wasn't busy enough today and decided to deprive him even of this brief rest.
"Ring, ring." The mechanical ring of a standard telephone echoed through the empty street, giving it a midnight horror feel.
"Hello, this is Su Yuhao." Although it was an unknown number, Su Yuhao still answered.
"Oppa, it's Seungyeon!"
"Oh, Seungyeon! What's up? Haven't you gone to bed yet!" Su Yuhao asked with a smile.
"No, I'm on my way to Jeonju. Oppa, I'm calling because I need your help with something urgent." Han Seungyeon said quickly.
"Seungyeon, why are you going to Jeonju again? You're not running another schedule, are you? Seungyeon, you don't have to work so hard!" Su Yuhao said with a mix of concern and bitterness.
"Oppa, this isn't the time to think about that. I'm calling you because I want you to check on Kui Ri at our dorm and see what's wrong with her." Han Seungyeon requested directly without explaining.
"What's wrong with Kui Ri? Did something happen?" Su Yuhao asked, somewhat worried.
"I don't know! I haven't been able to contact her since this afternoon. And Seonghee is at home, while Nicole is still recording 'Star Golden Bell' and won't finish until 5 AM. That's why I'm asking you, Oppa!" Han Seungyeon explained quickly and anxiously.
"Seungyeon, don't worry. I'll go to your dorm and check. I'll call you back once I have more information. Okay, hang up." Su Yuhao, seeing the urgency, quickly set off.
On the other end of the call, Han Seungyeon suddenly froze. "Oppa, I haven't told you where we live yet!"
In the taxi, Su Yuhao started calling Park Kui Ri, but as expected, it went straight to voicemail, which made him anxious. Suddenly, he thought of the system and opened it, carefully searching to confirm Park Kui Ri's current status. However, he found nothing. The mission system didn't even show a new task.
Speaking of the mission system, it made him very frustrated. Since the system upgrade, daily tasks were directly canceled, and he hadn't done a single task since then. This made him suspect that the system had undergone some unknown changes.
"Hey, young man, where are you going?" the driver asked.
"Ah!" Su Yuhao was startled. In his haste, he had forgotten to ask Han Seungyeon for the address of their dorm. Now, he suddenly remembered. However, he felt embarrassed to call her again. Thinking of today's events, he inexplicably gave an address and began to pray.
A while later, Su Yuhao became worried and picked up the phone to call Kim Seonghee.
"Seonghee, is your dorm at XXXXXXX? Yes, that's right, isn't it? Yes, I'm sorry to bother you! Oh, I just wanted to get the address, and I'll visit you when I have the chance! Yes, go back to sleep! When you return, I'll treat you to a meal." Su Yuhao finally breathed a deep sigh of relief.
Soon, Su Yuhao arrived at the dorm he remembered. Following his memory, he quickly reached the door of KARA's dorm. Looking at the door that was exactly the same as he remembered, Su Yuhao felt a bit puzzled, but now didn't seem to be the time to think about it.
"Ding dong, the doorbell rang continuously." Su Yuhao started knocking.
The doorbell rang continuously, but there was no response from inside.
"Strange, according to Seungyeon, Kui Ri should be in the dorm. Could she have gone out and not returned yet?" Su Yuhao wondered.
The doorbell continued to ring, and Su Yuhao's worry grew. Finally, just as he was about to leave, the door suddenly opened.
Seeing the door open, Su Yuhao was relieved and quickly entered the room.
As soon as he entered, he saw Park Kui Ri, pale and leaning against the wall, barely able to stand. Su Yuhao quickly stepped forward to support her, asking worriedly, "Kui Ri, what's wrong? Are you sick? What's bothering you?"
At this moment, Park Kui Ri was already somewhat delirious. Hearing Su Yuhao's voice, she forced her eyes open and looked at him, weakly saying, "Oppa, I'm fine, it's probably just a cold. I've already taken medicine. But, why are you here?"
"Are you sure? Are you sure it's just a cold?" Su Yuhao asked, worried, because he noticed that Park Kui Ri's symptoms didn't match those of a cold.
"I'm fine, I know my body well. It's nothing serious. But, Oppa, why are you here?" Park Kui Ri asked again.
Su Yuhao, feeling helpless, had to be honest. "Oh, Seungyeon called me and asked me to come check on you. They're very worried about you, so I came."
Hearing it was Seungyeon, Park Kui Ri felt relieved and apologized to Su Yuhao, "I'm sorry, Oppa, for disturbing your rest."
"It's okay, but you need to go to the hospital with me now to get checked. Your face looks really bad."
"No, Oppa, I'll be fine after a good sleep." Park Kui Ri firmly refused to go to the hospital. "Oppa, you don't need to support me, I can manage on my own." She pushed away Su Yuhao's supporting hand.
Su Yuhao felt helpless. Although he had noticed Park Kui Ri's suspicious and cautious nature from their first meeting, he hadn't expected it to be this extreme. Now, Su Yuhao felt a headache, unsure how to get this clearly very ill person to the hospital.
Following Park Kui Ri into the living room, Su Yuhao suddenly noticed the dishes on the table and instantly understood something. Turning to look at Park Kui Ri, he saw that she was indeed in that state, and he couldn't help but laugh in frustration.
Park Kui Ri, worried, asked, "Oppa, what's wrong? Is something the matter?"
Su Yuhao looked at Park Kui Ri for a few seconds, then turned to search the room. Finally, he found a coat on the back of a sofa, draped it over Park Kui Ri, and, ignoring her struggles, picked her up and carried her out of KARA's dorm, despite her protests.
