Unexpectedly meeting Cheng Hao did not have much of an impact on Mo Wen. To Mo Wen, Cheng Hao was nothing more than a good-for-nothing playboy who knew only how to use despicable means; he was not someone who could be taken seriously.

In the blink of an eye, two days had passed, and Mo Wen had a general understanding of Huaxia University. During these two days, the registration for new students was almost complete, with most students, except for those with special circumstances, having arrived at the school.

Previously, Mo Wen had chosen the Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) major, which was what he needed to understand the most at the moment. He found that the medical knowledge in that world was very similar to ancient Chinese medicine, with many commonalities in the field of medicine. Some of the herbs from that world were also recorded in TCM.

If he could systematically study TCM, not only could he connect it with the medical techniques in that world, but his medical skills would also improve significantly.

As for clinical medicine and modern pharmacology, although they were very enlightening, they were not what Mo Wen needed the most at the moment.

Two days after the start of the semester, the Student Affairs Department began to assign new students to classes. The process of class assignment was random, with each class having a fixed number of students. Mo Wen was eventually notified that he was assigned to Class 1314 of the TCM Department. Each class had a counselor, and the new students in the same class would gather in the classroom the next day.

Mo Wen wandered around the teaching building for a long time before finally finding the classroom where Class 1413 of the TCM Department was holding its first class meeting. There was no way around it; Huaxia University had too many teaching buildings, which were complex and intertwined. Even old students sometimes got lost, let alone new ones.

As soon as he entered the classroom, the atmosphere seemed a bit off, as if he was late.

The students were all sitting neatly in their seats, and a teacher was standing on the podium, explaining something.

To Mo Wen's surprise, the teacher was none other than Shen Jing, whom he hadn't seen for two days.

What a coincidence! He was assigned to Shen Jing's class. Could it be intentional?

"Report."

Mo Wen awkwardly reported, and his voice stood out in the quiet classroom.

"Come in. Be more careful next time and don't be late."

Shen Jing glanced at Mo Wen, her expression unchanged, as if she didn't recognize him.

Mo Wen found a seat and sat down. He was surprised to find that there were over eighty people in the class, and he also saw an acquaintance—Qin Xiaoyou.

Given Qin Xiaoyou's outstanding grades, it was no surprise that she had been admitted to Huaxia University. However, she had chosen the TCM major and was in the same class as him, which was quite surprising.

The world is really small! Mo Wen's lips curled into a pleased smile.

At that moment, Qin Xiaoyou's eyes widened, and she stared at Mo Wen in disbelief. Her mind couldn't process it. Didn't Mo Wen fail to get admitted and drop out to work? Why was he in the classroom?

Mo Wen's appearance made Qin Xiaoyou feel a bit unreal, but she was also unusually happy.

The class meeting mainly covered some important points about the school and the selection of class officers to assist the counselor in the future.

The selection of class officers was simple, using the most straightforward election method. Students who were interested in a position would give a speech, and the class would vote to decide.

Mo Wen had no interest in being a class officer, but Qin Xiaoyou was very proactive. She had always been a diligent and positive student, both in high school and now in university.

As expected, Qin Xiaoyou was elected as the class president. In a new class where everyone was unfamiliar with each other, there were no established relationships, and votes were cast based on personal preferences. With her innocent and charming appearance and her warm and outgoing personality, Qin Xiaoyou easily won the favor of her classmates.

After the class meeting, Shen Jing packed up her things and left first. Mo Wen walked out of the classroom with a leisurely pace, and Qin Xiaoyou's voice rang out behind him.

"Mo Wen, wait."

Qin Xiaoyou ran up to Mo Wen and said happily, "You were admitted? You didn't tell me last time, and I was so sad."

That day, Qin Xiaoyou was wearing a white T-shirt, a beige floral pleated skirt, and a pair of delicate shoes. At 167 cm tall, she looked graceful and elegant. Her fair skin, delicate eyebrows, and small nose made her naturally beautiful, and she never wore makeup.

"Really that sad?"

Mo Wen blinked and looked at Qin Xiaoyou with a playful expression.

"As a friend, I had the duty to be sad. Yes, that's how it is."

Qin Xiaoyou glared at Mo Wen and turned her face away, her cheeks slightly flushed. Mo Wen's gaze and tone made her uncomfortable. He had never looked at her like that before.

For some reason, since they met again, she felt that Mo Wen had changed, but she couldn't pinpoint exactly what had changed. They used to get along naturally, but now it felt awkward.

"Congratulations on being the class president again."

Mo Wen smiled faintly and stopped teasing the innocent girl. From his understanding, Qin Xiaoyou was very intelligent but had a low emotional quotient, almost like a blank sheet of paper.

"I'll still be your class president."

Qin Xiaoyou lifted her chin and straightened her back, looking quite proud.

Sometimes fate is really amazing. She thought Mo Wen had dropped out and would have no more connection with her, but now he was still by her side, in the same class, and she was still the class president.

"Yes, class president." Mo Wen smiled.

"I have to go. The counselor gave me a lot of tasks just now."

Qin Xiaoyou huffed and glanced at Mo Wen before running off.

That evening, Mo Wen returned to the dormitory, which was quiet and empty. He didn't see anyone else, and there was no sound from Ren Liusha's room. He didn't know if she was out or just staying in her room.

After living in the dormitory for two days, Mo Wen had only seen one roommate, and only once. However, the dormitory was strange, and Mo Wen didn't mind. He preferred a quiet environment and didn't like a noisy dormitory.

The next day, the school held an opening ceremony and a mobilization meeting for the military training, marking the start of a 30-day training period.

The military training for Huaxia University was not on campus but at the Jinghua Military District. After the mobilization meeting in the morning, military vehicles entered the campus in the afternoon to transport the new students to the military district in batches.

Mo Wen packed his things and got on the bus to the military district. He was somewhat curious about the military district. Huaxia University had seven major military districts, and the Jinghua Military District was undoubtedly the best.

Those who could be admitted to Huaxia University were all pillars of the nation, so the military training at Huaxia University was different from that of ordinary universities. It involved a month of closed, high-intensity training at the military district, not only to build physical strength, discipline, and teamwork but also to cultivate perseverance, courage, and professional military knowledge.

The military trucks drove for about five to six hours on bumpy mountain roads before finally entering the military district, which was surrounded by warning lines and barbed wire.
