Just as Mo Wen and the middle-aged nurse were at an impasse, Old Pan led a group of people into the ward, clearly having finished their consultation.

"Mr. Pan, this young man..."

Seeing Old Pan and the other experts enter, the middle-aged nurse felt as if she had found a savior. She quickly reported the situation, emphasizing that Mo Wen had interfered with her work.

"Nonsense!"

Deputy Director Zeng Yan Ting's face darkened, and he cast a stern glance at Mo Wen. If it weren't for Old Pan bringing him, he would have long driven this young man, who was hindering the patient's treatment, out of the ward. He didn't even consider the timing before causing trouble.

The other medical experts exchanged glances. For a young man to cause trouble in Old Yun's ward was truly audacious! Everyone immediately thought Mo Wen was deliberately stirring up trouble. After all, the reasons he gave were utterly absurd to these medical experts. What else could it be but troublemaking?

Old Pan's lips twitched slightly, secretly wondering if it was a mistake to have Mo Wen examine the patient.

"Old Pan, Mo Wen diagnosed the cause of Old Yun's illness, which is why he said those things," Shen Jing said cautiously, looking at the group of experts and professors crowding the room. She instinctively pulled Mo Wen behind her, somewhat protectively.

Although she herself didn't believe Mo Wen's conclusion, it could at least help Mo Wen out of the situation. At the very least, she couldn't say he was deliberately causing trouble, but rather that he had made a misdiagnosis.

"What's going on?"

Old Pan's pupils contracted, and his gaze immediately fell on Mo Wen. He knew Old Yun's condition very well. Even he couldn't determine the cause, assuming it was a new, incurable disease.

They had studied for years without any results. Could Mo Wen know?

Not just Old Pan, but the other experts and professors also focused their attention on Mo Wen. Shen Jing's words clearly caught everyone's attention, even the middle-aged nurse looked at Mo Wen with surprise, having always considered him a troublemaker.

"The poison in Old Yun's body is Purple Blue Flower poison, which attaches to the human meridians. The blood has a certain suppressive effect on this poison, so intravenous fluids are not advisable," Mo Wen said, frowning slightly. He didn't elaborate much, knowing they wouldn't understand. Whether they believed him or not was their business.

Old Pan frowned, looking at Mo Wen with doubt. He had hoped Mo Wen would offer some unique insights, but now that he had, it only gave him a headache.

Blocking the nurse from administering intravenous fluids? A mysterious and incurable disease was actually poisoning?

Not just the others, even Old Pan, who had some hope for Mo Wen, felt it was absurd.

The other experts, upon hearing Mo Wen's conclusion, had strange expressions and shook their heads, finding it laughable.

"Alright, you two young people, go out first. A patient's condition isn't something to be concluded lightly," Zeng Yan Ting adjusted his glasses, looking at the two young people with a helpless expression. He was already deeply troubled by Old Yun's illness, and so many experienced experts and professors couldn't solve it. Why were these two young people making a fuss?

Shen Jing's face turned slightly red, and she quietly pulled Mo Wen to leave.

"Young man, since you've determined the cause, do you know the treatment method?"

Among the group of experts and professors, only one person didn't laugh. Instead, he stepped forward, blocking Mo Wen and Shen Jing.

He was also an old man, seemingly older than Old Pan, but his eyes were sharp and his energy was as vigorous as a young person's.

"Old Han, what are you doing here..."

Zeng Yan Ting looked at Old Han speechlessly. Time was pressing, and they all dared not be sure if the method could suppress Old Yun's condition. This was a critical treatment, and he couldn't afford to waste time on these two juniors.

Old Han waved his hand to cut off Zeng Yan Ting's words, his gaze fixed on Mo Wen. Others might think it was a joke, but he didn't. The vastness of Chinese medicine and its rich history were far beyond what scholars who spent their days in hospitals or research labs could fully understand.

He had long suspected that Old Yun's condition was due to poisoning, but he couldn't find a solution, so he hadn't told anyone. Now that Mo Wen had mentioned it, he immediately felt that this young man was extraordinary and might be of the same ilk.

Shen Jing looked at Old Han blocking their way, feeling helpless. Everyone knew Mo Wen's words were unbelievable, yet someone actually took them seriously. She had already helped Mo Wen out of the situation, but now it was back to square one. Mo Wen was just a student; how could he possibly know the treatment method?

A hint of surprise flashed in Old Pan's eyes, and his gaze also fell on Mo Wen. He knew Old Han wasn't one to meddle unnecessarily, and his background and knowledge far exceeded theirs.

"I can't cure him, but I can suppress his condition to some extent," Mo Wen shook his head, looking at the old man on the bed, and said slowly. He wasn't unaware of the treatment method, but he couldn't express it, and even if he could, they might not be able to carry it out.

"Can you suppress Old Yun's condition?"

Old Han's pupils contracted, his voice rising slightly, a glint of joy in his eyes. He had only asked out of curiosity, not really believing that such a young man could have a solution for Old Yun. But the result was unexpectedly surprising.

Even if it was just suppressing the patient's condition, it was better than their current helplessness. They had no methods left and could only try a final treatment, with no real confidence.

"Can you really suppress Old Yun's condition?"

Old Pan's eyes locked onto Mo Wen, as if trying to discern the truth from him.

The others also looked at Mo Wen with surprise, but mostly with disbelief. After all, Mo Wen was so young, just a student, and his words carried little weight among the old experts.

Feeling the attention of everyone around him, Shen Jing smiled bitterly, not knowing what to say to Mo Wen. He was truly a stubborn young man, clearly not knowing when to back down. She had already helped him out of the situation, yet he still dared to speak recklessly.

Not just the others, Shen Jing herself didn't believe Mo Wen had the ability. When she met him, he was still working on a construction site. To say he could solve a problem that a group of old experts couldn't in just two days—no one would believe it!

Mo Wen rubbed his nose. He was indeed speaking the truth, but given his current status, his words seemed a bit presumptuous. It would have been better to say he didn't know the treatment and avoid arousing suspicion.
