Chapter 25 of 100

Chapter 25

At 2000 points in ranked matches, having a jungler is essential.

Here, I'll reiterate why the 2-1-2 lineup is not very reasonable and why there must be a jungler.

Let's put aside the other lanes for now and focus on the top lane.

First, let's talk about the economy.

The top lane has only one minion wave. No matter how two people farm, the number of minions is limited.

Friends who have played League of Legends for some time should know that when two people farm together, the result is always the same: both will lose out on gold!

In this situation, it's better for one person to farm rhythmically and ensure that all the gold goes to themselves or their teammates. (The same applies to the bottom lane.)

Next, let's talk about experience.

One person farming a lane will gain more experience than two people, and they will reach level 6 faster.

Suppose you have one person in the top lane, and the enemy has two.

No matter how the enemy controls the minion wave, as long as you are not killed or completely pushed out of the experience zone, your level will be higher than the two enemies.

Moreover, your team has a jungler who can farm the jungle for experience and gold. In the early game, with the double buffs, the jungler's level will definitely be higher than the two enemies in the top lane.

At this point, our jungler can go to the top lane to gank (gank roughly means to catch and kill) the two enemies.

Your top laner's level will generally be higher than the two enemies, or at least equal.

And your jungler's level will definitely be higher. In the early game, when no one has the chance to buy items, your two levels higher and the double buff effect will be a fatal blow to the two enemy heroes!

Often, this results in a double kill!

This is just from the perspective of the top lane. The jungler can also roam to other lanes, often creating a situation where your team has more players in a fight, helping your teammates establish an advantage.

If your team doesn't have a jungler, it's hard to form such an advantage. You'll keep losing and be snowballed.

There are more detailed aspects, but in summary, the 2-1-1 lineup with a jungler is much better than the 2-1-2 lineup.

(Recently, I've noticed that in some regions, people still use the 2-1-2 lineup in ranked matches. This trend is not good. Although I don't want to write about these concepts, since the majority of high-end players in this game are not the majority, I think it's necessary to explain the reasons to some less advanced players.)

...

"Welcome to League of Legends!"

"The enemy will arrive in 30 seconds, crush them!"

Usually, Yu Luosheng hears this from the computer's cold and serious female voice.

But this time, it wasn't the computer's voice!

Yu Luosheng's beautiful and mature lady, Yi Qin, actually said it in almost the same tone, covering the computer's voice!

It's more like Riot Games used her voice for the opening narration of League of Legends!

"Are you really a voice actor?" Yu Luosheng asked.

"Guess," Yi Qin wouldn't say.

Yu Luosheng was 70-80% sure and said, "Let's video chat one day. I can tell a person's profession from their face."

"Trick for kids!" Yi Qin laughed, knowing what Yu Luosheng was up to.

"Hey, the enemy seems to know you. That guy called SSS is greeting you," Yu Luosheng said, looking at the chat window.

In the chat window, all messages from players are in red. Yu Luosheng always believes that players who like to chat when they have an advantage are usually the most reckless, and the chances of a comeback increase by at least 30%!

But encountering someone they know and greeting each other at the start of the game... it's purely a coincidence.

"Snow Sister, I didn't expect to run into you," the SSS player said.

"Hehe, what a coincidence. You're playing ADC, right? You know what to do, right?" Xue Yiyi replied.

The SSS player quickly answered, "Of course, I'll put my head under Snow Sister's gun, ensuring she gets a pentakill!"

This SSS player is quite interesting, openly flattering in such a straightforward way. Isn't he afraid his teammates will stomp him?

"Is the enemy ADC a girl?"

"Wow, I've never seen a girl with such high points."

"Girl, are you in the bottom lane? I'll go to your turret and give you my first blood!"

"Get lost, pervert. It's called first blood!"

...

Seeing all this chat, Yu Luosheng was speechless!

Others spend months, half-dead, to reach 2000 points, spending their living expenses on runes and rune pages, and still can't match the power of a "girl" headshot aura!

"Do you know the guy called SSS? Is he a real-life friend?" Yu Luosheng asked.

"I've met him a few times. Sigh, we're going to lose this game," Yi Qin said with a bitter face.

"How can we lose? They're all giving up their heads, aren't they?" Yu Luosheng said.

"They're just teasing me. Who would believe them? They won't even stop intentionally if they're human," Yi Qin pouted and continued, "This SSS is a former DOTA pro player, the main player of the Di Fu team, ID: Qin Guang Wang. He's now playing League of Legends and is also a pro player. What bad luck, why did he end up on the enemy team? I hate it!"

Qin Guang Wang??

Yu Luosheng was stunned. He knew this ID all too well!!

Chu Jiang Wang, Song Di Wang, Chu Guan Wang, Yan Luo Wang, and now Qin Guang Wang—these five players, named after the Ten Kings of the Underworld, formed the "Di Fu" team, which was a famous DOTA team at the time!!

They won countless DOTA honors, both domestically and internationally, and these five players were truly feared by their enemies!

Most importantly, during the domestic selection finals when Yu Luosheng was a pro player, the "Di Fu" team was his final opponent!

At that time, Yu Luosheng's team narrowly defeated the "Di Fu" team, securing the qualification to fight in London, England!

Even though the "Di Fu" team lost to his team, Yu Luosheng knew they were a group of respectable and terrifying opponents. Recalling that battle, Yu Luosheng still feels the thrill!

At this moment, the scenes from the professional esports tournament replayed in Yu Luosheng's mind like a movie. He vaguely remembered that Qin Guang Wang was a 20-year-old handsome young man. After their team's defeat in the final, he shook hands with Yu Luosheng and gave him a thumbs up!

Yu Luosheng knew that was a sign of respect...

He's now playing League of Legends?

And he's on the enemy team right now!

Yu Luosheng suddenly felt a surge of excitement...

Yes, he swore he wouldn't touch professional esports!

But as someone with a deep passion for esports, even if he doesn't play professionally, he can't completely extinguish the burning fighting spirit in his heart!!

It's like a top swordsman. Even if he gives up his sword, if he suddenly encounters a famous master, his hand holding a cabbage will unconsciously form a sword grip, and the cabbage will be crushed!

"Qin Guang Wang... good... too good!" Yu Luosheng felt his fingers heating up!

Even his fingers couldn't resist the urge to fight!

"What's good? How can we, ordinary players, compare to professional players? I just hope we don't get snowballed and can't even leave the base..." Yi Qin pouted.

"How can that happen!!" Yu Luosheng was already boiling with excitement!

This isn't DOTA, but League of Legends. We once fought and battled in DOTA!

This time, let's settle the score in League of Legends!

Qin Guang Wang, bring it on!!
