Chapter 38

The next morning, Yu Luosheng tried to log into his Freyerjotd account.

Finally, the college entrance exam was over, and he could now focus on playing ranked matches. He wanted to see how high he could climb in the rankings.

Ranked points are a good indicator of skill. Once you reach 2000 points, you generally start encountering professional players. At 2200 or 2300 points, you're dealing with a group of god-like players whose operations, awareness, and teamwork are on par with professionals. The clash between such high-level players could make Yu Luosheng's blood boil... uh, get his blood pumping!

However, for some reason, when he opened this account, Yu Luosheng felt something was missing.

Looking at Xue Yiyi's offline status, Yu Luosheng specifically used the LOL box to check her match history, wondering if she had logged in to play.

Unfortunately, the time was still stuck at around 8 PM that night.

Shaking his head, Yu Luosheng closed the account, unable to muster any enthusiasm for playing.

It wasn't that Yu Luosheng was playing this account for her; he genuinely enjoyed competitive games. He just wanted to resolve the confusion in his heart. He wanted to know why Xue Yiyi had left without a word. He wanted to preserve a sense of duty for this female net friend who had accompanied him through three years of his youth.

It might sound a bit strange, but that's just who Yu Luosheng was—a person with his own principles and bottom line that he wouldn't let anyone touch or change.

In short, he had a sense of integrity.

...

Over the next day or two, Yu Luosheng played with Yang Qianqian.

Yang Qianqian's skills improved rapidly. This woman actually had a talent for competitive games, and at least he felt that her current skills were better than Wang Qin's.

"Hey, I almost forgot," Yang Qianqian said over voice chat.

"What, did you forget to write your name on the last English test?" Yu Luosheng teased.

"Don't be a smartass. Didn't I sign you up for the competition? Wang Qin, Zhao Kesong, and the others are practicing in the internet cafe every day. How can you just stay here and play with me all day?" Yang Qianqian said.

"I don't have a team," Yu Luosheng actually didn't want to play.

After retraining a new account, Yu Luosheng didn't necessarily have to play as a support. He tried other roles and heroes as well.

While playing a fixed role in League of Legends can make you more proficient, having a deep understanding of every hero will definitely make you more adaptable.

Training a new account isn't just about showing off or bullying weaker players; it's about gaining a comprehensive understanding of the game, knowing both yourself and your opponents.

Many high-level players hit a bottleneck at certain score ranges, such as 1600 to 1700, 1900 to 2000, and 2200 to 2300. When you find yourself unable to progress, it's time to train a new account and try different roles. You'll always learn something.

That's why Yu Luosheng enjoyed playing his new account.

To be honest, even if Yang Qianqian hadn't asked, Yu Luosheng wouldn't have been particularly enthusiastic about playing in such a match.

"No team? Go to the internet cafe and form one. Yesterday, when I passed by, I saw a lot of people shouting there, ha ha, it felt like forming a team for a dungeon in an online game, really interesting," Yang Qianqian laughed, making Yu Luosheng feel a bit itchy.

"Then I'll go check it out tonight," Yu Luosheng said.

"I'll go with you," Yang Qianqian said with a smile.

"Okay," Yu Luosheng's eyes lit up. He could see Yang Qianqian again, hehe, maybe there would be a bigger breakthrough tonight?

...

In the evening, after meeting on the bridge, Yang Qianqian dragged the half-dead Yu Luosheng to the Longsheng Internet Cafe.

Why not call it a "internet cafe"?

It's too common. Nowadays, any internet cafe with a bit of scale is called an internet club, a club!!!

The Longsheng Internet Club had a lot of people and was a very representative internet cafe in Lecity. The only ones that could compete with it in terms of scale were Shuguang, Tianda, and Yiqu...

"Yu Luosheng, Yu Luosheng, come and look!!" Yang Qianqian pointed at the advertisement board with a bit of excitement.

Yu Luosheng secretly glanced at the waves in front of Yang Qianqian's chest when she bent over, then pretended to be serious and walked to the advertisement board to read it.

"Turns out it's a reward from the internet cafe, that's interesting," Yu Luosheng smiled.

The national LOL internet cafe league was sponsored by Coca-Cola, and most of the rewards and prizes were provided by Coca-Cola.

This is called sponsor rewards, or league rewards.

The internet cafe rewards were additional bonuses on top of the league rewards.

League rewards + internet cafe rewards, if you can get a good ranking, the rewards are quite substantial.

"For those who sign up to participate in my Longsheng Internet Club, as long as you can defeat the other internet clubs in Lecity and advance, the manager of the Longsheng Internet Club will specially pay a 10,000 RMB reward!"

"10,000 RMB, that's 2,000 RMB per person!"

"Right, and the first place reward for the Lecity internet cafe league is 20,000 RMB, so the first place team can get a total of 30,000 RMB, which is 6,000 RMB per person!!" At this moment, a few young men nearby let out a sigh.

"Damn, so much money, we have to get first place! 6,000 RMB per person!!"

"Damn, I'm only level 27, wait, I'll level up to 30 today, then sign up to participate, 6,000 RMB, enough for several months of internet time!"

The young men chattered, talking while secretly looking at Yang Qianqian on the side.

Yang Qianqian was dressed casually today, a tight pair of jeans outlining the beautiful curves of her buttocks and legs, making anyone who saw her, including Yu Luosheng, feel a bit excited.

"Yu Luosheng, did you hear? 6,000 RMB!!" Yang Qianqian's eyes twinkled as she looked at Yu Luosheng.

"Do you know how many teams are participating in the entire Lecity? Getting first place isn't that easy. Besides, are the internet cafes all crazy, throwing out so many rewards..." Yu Luosheng muttered.

It was quite rare for internet cafe rewards to be so high, and the influence of LOL was indeed terrifying.

Actually, Yu Luosheng didn't know that the emergence of LOL had indeed saved the declining internet cafe industry.

Nowadays, most people have computers at home, who would go to an internet cafe to go online or play games? Plus, mobile phones have largely covered the internet functions, making internet cafes increasingly desolate.

The only group that wouldn't leave the internet cafes were those who played competitive games.

When playing competitive games with friends, people naturally preferred the five-person setup in internet cafes.

This five-person setup indeed had a trend of reviving the internet cafe industry, so various internet cafes took advantage of the popularity of LOL to promote themselves, hoping to turn their internet clubs into gathering places for LOL players.

Yang Qianqian seemed to have no idea how difficult it was to get first place, her eyes still twinkling as she looked at Yu Luosheng and said with a smile, "If you get 6,000 RMB, will you take me on a graduation trip? I want to go to the beach, but we only have mountains here, I hate it."

"Just the two of us?" Yu Luosheng raised an eyebrow and looked at Yang Qianqian with a mischievous smile.

Yang Qianqian immediately gave Yu Luosheng a glare, hating his lecherous look.

However, seeing Yu Luosheng's smug expression, Yang Qianqian felt a bit annoyed.

The beautiful Yang Qianqian bit her lip and said, "If you can get first place, I'll go, just the two of us!"

"But can you?" Yang Qianqian even puffed out her chest, the full, round, and firm peaks making Yu Luosheng's eyes feast.

Yu Luosheng almost subconsciously nodded in agreement.

But getting first place wasn't that easy. Yu Luosheng wasn't confident enough to lead a team to the top of Lecity.

"I'll pay for the trip myself," Yu Luosheng said.

When playing in professional leagues, Yu Luosheng still had some savings.

He had intended to give the money to his family, but his father's stubborn nature made him refuse any money Yu Luosheng earned from not focusing on his studies.

Yu Luosheng didn't touch this money, jokingly saying it was for a wife.

Now it seemed wise, as a wife was practically knocking on his door, and it was time to use this money!

"No, if you have the ability to get first place, I'll consider it," Yang Qianqian was deliberately giving Yu Luosheng a hard time.

Yang Qianqian was determined to go on a trip alone with Yu Luosheng only if he got first place.

Honestly, going on a trip alone with a man was a bit beyond Yang Qianqian's conservative limits, and not something a reserved girl would do.

But in her heart, Yang Qianqian had some expectations and wanted to try the feeling of a two-person trip, sitting on a train and watching the scenery outside, walking in a strange city, sitting on the beach and watching the sea...

Unfortunately, rational
