Seville, the teacher, cast a divine spell very quickly. As soon as he finished praying, the white light of the divine spell shone into the already prepared physical strength potion. In the faintly green physical strength potion, tiny specks of light could be seen flickering, blending into the potion. It was as if illuminated by a ray of sunlight, the solution sparkled like a clear green jade, making one want to touch it, yet fearing that their actions might shatter this precious jade.
"Alright, this is the process of making a physical strength potion." Seville stood in front of the potion table, wiping the residue of herbs from his hands with a white handkerchief, and said somewhat sarcastically, "It's very simple, isn't it? If you weren't so stupid, you should be able to do it. Perhaps my expectations for you are a bit high. How could someone as self-important as you understand so quickly? But don't even think about me demonstrating it again for you. Fools don't have the right to attend my class."
This man's words were truly sharp and biting. Jiang Junming lowered his head, looking at the simple equipment and the honeysuckle and prunella in front of him. He recalled all of Seville's actions in his mind, every meticulous and unnoticed movement deeply etched in his memory. Although Jiang Junming knew that this might not be the key to making potions in the Church Academy, the divine spell cast after the potion was made was the most important. But he treated this as learning basic pharmacology on the optical brain, striving to make every step as perfect as possible.
"Start now, let me see just how stupid you are." Seville's sharp and biting words made all the young men blush. Some of the young men were determined to make a good physical strength potion to show him. But most of the young men were very anxious, fearing that they would not meet Seville's requirements and be scolded.
Little Price was clearly nervous, seemingly not having learned how to make potions in Moonlight City. After watching Seville's demonstration, he was afraid of forgetting something and started fumbling around.
"If you pick the honeysuckle like that, the active ingredients will all be lost. How can it still be called a physical strength potion? I really wonder how such a stupid person can sense divine power." Seville slowly walked around the potion table, watching the young men nervously and seriously making potions. When he reached Little Price, he mocked him sharply.
Hearing Seville's evaluation, Little Price became even more nervous. His hand trembled, and he pulled off both the honeysuckle's stamens and petals, spilling the juice and getting some of it on the outside of the measuring cup.
"Tsk tsk, your hands are clumsier than your feet. I suggest you use your feet to make the physical strength potion; that might have some unexpected results." Watching Little Price clumsily make the potion, Seville did not hold back his sharp words, making Little Price's face turn red.
Seeing that Jiang Junming's movements were not too fast but very accurate, though different from what he had taught, looking somewhat strange, Seville stared at Jiang Junming for a moment, pursed his lips, and said, "That's way off. I think you should see the school doctor about your eyes. Did you see me do those movements just now? Is there something wrong with your eyes? The students the academy admitted this time are really off the mark. What kind of quality are they!"
Jiang Junming's movements followed the optical brain's teaching, improving on Seville's actions to complete each step more precisely. They looked somewhat similar to Seville's, though a bit strange, they were more efficient.
Hearing Seville's sharp sarcasm, Jiang Junming did not mind, just smiled, and continued to complete each step seriously, striving to make each step as perfect as possible, just like making a weak healing potion on the optical brain.
The muscular young man standing next to the red-clothed girl was no longer as calm as he was during the retest. His face was tense, and sweat dripped from his temples. His fingers, as thick as small carrots, could not perform the precise movements. The more nervous he became, the more deformed his movements. With each step Seville took closer, more sweat appeared on his face.
"Is all your muscle in your brain? I think you should do heavy labor instead of studying at the Church Academy. Can't even do such a simple thing? I really doubt those guys were serious during the retest, how did they let a disgraceful person like you stay?"
As he spoke, the muscular young man, in a moment of nervousness, subconsciously moved his right hand, knocking over the measuring cup beside him with a clear sound. The measuring cup shattered, and the solution inside spilled all over the floor.
Seville gave a cold laugh, stepping over the shattered measuring cup and the spilled solution, and said, "I think you are not suitable for such precise work. Being a squire is more fitting for you. In the future, you can help your knight master carry armor and do some odd jobs. Those clumsy and sturdy armors won't break so easily."
The muscular young man's face turned purple, not knowing what to do, and let Seville mock and scold him, head down, at a loss.
After scolding, Seville continued to walk forward, ignoring the young man he had just mocked.
Almost all the young men making potions were met with Seville's cold ridicule. It was truly amazing how many sarcastic and mocking words Seville had, endless and varied.
Almost, but not all. When Seville passed by the red-clothed girl and Tireda, seeing their potion-making process, his eyes showed some approval. This approval was only slightly visible and quickly disappeared. Even with approval, he did not say anything to praise them, and walked past them as if he hadn't seen them, continuing to comment on the other young men's actions.
Outside the window covered with ivy, senior students pretended to pass by, watching the new young men in the classroom make potions. Some infatuated girls even gathered the courage to approach the window and watch closely.
"Still, Tireda's potion-making movements are standard and precise. Look at his posture, so elegant, like an excellent dancer, gracefully dancing to the music, it's simply mesmerizing." The young girl, in the bloom of her youth, spoke of Tireda with her eyes filled with spring water, her gaze wandering.
"What's the name of the girl in the red clothes? I think her potion-making process is pretty good too."
"She is the favorite of the Dawn God, called Idria. What's so good about her? She's just more skilled, but can't compare to Tireda's movements. Even the best potion maker in our grade, Roland, can't match Tireda. I'm completely captivated by him."
