After entering the room, Zhang Yang saw Wang Yue cooking in the kitchen. He changed into casual clothes and walked into the kitchen, smiling as he hugged Wang Yue's waist and said, "What delicious food are you making today?"

Wang Yue pinched Zhang Yang's hand and said, "Go wait outside, don't disturb me! I know you like meat, so today you can eat to your heart's content. I've made all your favorite dishes!"

Zhang Yang looked at Wang Yue in surprise. Since they had been together, Wang Yue had always been the one cooking. Although Zhang Yang loved meat, for his health, Wang Yue never made overly greasy dishes. To cultivate his taste for food, she often took him out to try various snacks. What was going on today? Not only was she cooking, but she was making all kinds of meat dishes, which was very strange.

It might be because today was the 100th day since they met, Zhang Yang thought. He couldn't help but touch his pocket, where he had the ring he had bought, planning to surprise Wang Yue later in the evening.

As night fell, Wang Yue pulled the curtains early and turned off the lights. The dining table was set with candles, and the red wine had been decanted and placed nearby.

Zhang Yang sat in the bedroom, watching TV and waiting quietly.

Wang Yue came out after taking a shower, wearing a beautiful evening dress, and said, "Zhang Yang, stand up!"

Zhang Yang stood up in a daze and asked, "What for?"

"Don't ask! Close your eyes and follow me!" Wang Yue said.

Zhang Yang let Wang Yue lead him by the hand to the dining room, where she then said, "Okay, open your eyes."

Zhang Yang saw the scene before him and felt overwhelmed with happiness.

The table was set with various dishes, red candles were lit, and a bottle of red wine was placed nearby. In addition, there was a heart-shaped cake with two small figures on top and a line of text below: "Dedicated to my only love, Zhang Yang."

Zhang Yang reached out and hugged Wang Yue, saying, "Yue, thank you. You must have been busy all afternoon with this!"

"It's nothing, as long as you like it!" Wang Yue said.

After that, Wang Yue glared at Zhang Yang and said, "What about the surprise you promised me?"

Zhang Yang pulled Wang Yue to sit down and said, "Wait for me, I'll be right back!"

Soon, Zhang Yang, dressed in a suit and holding a large bouquet of roses, walked to Wang Yue, slowly knelt down, and placed the flowers in her hands. He then took out a box from his pocket, opened it to reveal a dazzling diamond ring, and said with deep emotion, "Yue, will you marry me?"

Wang Yue was stunned. She thought Zhang Yang would at most buy her some jewelry or clothes, but she never expected him to buy a diamond ring and kneel before her, proposing to her. This was a scene she had never even dreamed of.

Wang Yue couldn't help but burst into tears. Zhang Yang, worried, said, "Yue, what's wrong? Why are you crying?"

Wang Yue wiped her tears and looked up, saying, "Do you think a diamond ring is enough to send me away? No way!"

Zhang Yang laughed and took out his bank card, placing it in Wang Yue's hands and said with deep emotion, "From today on, the financial power of our household will be in your hands. From now on, my eating, drinking, and everything else will be your responsibility."

Wang Yue smiled and said, "That's more like it. What are you waiting for? Put the ring on me!"

Zhang Yang stood up happily and exclaimed, "You said yes! You really said yes! I'm so happy!"

Wang Yue wiped her tears and said, "You silly boy!"

Zhang Yang chuckled and slipped the ring onto Wang Yue's finger, and the two embraced tightly.

"Yue, I've already called my parents and told them about us. They are very happy and want us to go home for the New Year!" Zhang Yang said.

Wang Yue nodded and said, "Your parents are so nice!"

Zhang Yang smiled and said, "They love me a lot, and they will be good to you too. I've already thought about it. We have so much money, so next year we can buy a house and bring them to live with us, and we can all live together as a family!"

Wang Yue nodded vigorously, but the sadness in her eyes went unnoticed.

After the candlelit dinner, the two of them went to bed early. Unlike before, today Wang Yue was extremely demanding, as if she wanted to drain all of Zhang Yang's energy. Round after round, until Zhang Yang was completely exhausted and fell into a deep sleep, Wang Yue finally stopped.

The room became quiet. Wang Yue looked at the ring on her hand, touching it over and over again, gazing at Zhang Yang with a lingering look, and tears streamed down her face once more.

After crying for a long time, Wang Yue got out of bed, changed into her clothes, and went to the small bedroom to take out the suitcase she had already packed. She stopped at the bedroom door, went back in, kissed Zhang Yang's cheek twice, held back her tears, and turned to leave.

In his sleep, Zhang Yang felt as if he had lost something important and mumbled, "Sis Wang, Sis Wang!"

When Zhang Yang woke up, he instinctively reached for the other side of the bed, but no one was there. It was strange; every time they had a good night, Wang Yue would stay in bed the next day, complaining that Zhang Yang had been too rough. What was going on today?

Zhang Yang got up, puzzled, and walked out. The living room was spotlessly clean, and the kitchen was also tidied up. Zhang Yang sensed something was off. Wang Yue wasn't a particularly diligent woman; she liked cooking but didn't like washing dishes or cleaning. Last night, the kitchen and dining room had been a mess after their intimate time.

Was it because of his proposal? Many people said women changed after marriage. Could it be true?

Thinking about this, Zhang Yang smiled. If that was the case, it would be great.

He came out of the bathroom and called Wang Yue, wondering what she was doing in the morning. Could she have gone to buy breakfast? Don't be so virtuous, please!

Zhang Yang took out his phone and dialed, but the response was, "The number you dialed is out of service."

Zhang Yang put down his phone, puzzled, wondering why Wang Yue had turned off her phone.

He went back to the living room and turned on the TV, but he couldn't concentrate. Could something have happened?

No, it's broad daylight.

Zhang Yang took out his phone again and called Wang Yue, but there was still no answer.

Zhang Yang sensed something was wrong and rushed back to the bedroom to open the wardrobe. To his shock, all of Wang Yue's clothes were gone. He rushed into the small bedroom, which was also spotlessly clean, with nothing left behind!

Zhang Yang panicked and repeatedly called Wang Yue's phone, but it was always out of service.

What was going on? What had happened?

Her clothes were gone, her luggage was gone, and his bank card was gone!

Zhang Yang collapsed on the sofa, stunned. He had a bad feeling. Could Wang Yue have taken his money and run away?

How could that be? He had already proposed to her. His money was her money. Why would she run away?

Unable to understand, Zhang Yang clutched his head in pain, falling onto the sofa. Like many others who had been deceived, Zhang Yang couldn't accept what was happening.

It was then that he noticed a letter under the coffee table, addressed to "My dearest little man, Zhang Yang."
