Chapter 39: - I am not a bad man

The doctor’s words from that day still echoed in my ears, all the doctor’s heartless voice: “Your brother is hopeless-”

The tears that hovered in her eyes, fell down.

She held tightly to Zhuang Zijin, “Brother he is in school, next time I will bring him to see you.”

Lin Xinyan sat back on the bench and He Ruize sat next to her, “You saw it, right?”

“Hmm.” She clasped her hands together, her palms were sweaty.

“Prepare yourself mentally, it’s hard to recover fully from a situation like this.” He Ruize sighed, “She was hit too hard, the outbreak is very serious, she will selectively forget some, particularly painful things, and her memory appears confused.”

Lin Xinyan bit her lip, “She forgot the fact that Xin Qi was gone and asked why I didn’t bring him along to see her.”

For He Ruize, he just treats her as a family member.

“Mr. Zong, Secretary Bai.” As if finding a witness, Wu Meixia pulled Lin Xinyan over, “Secretary Bai, did she ask you for leave?”

Bai Zhuwei looked up at Zong Jinghao and shook her head: “No, what’s wrong?”

“She was late and said she had asked for leave.” Wu Meixia’s voice rose two more points, “Doesn’t the new one have to abide by the company’s rules?”
