Chapter 921

Tian Hua Domain.

It took half a day to travel from the Eight Wastelands to the Tian Hua Domain despite using the teleportation array.

However, the corresponding portal from the Tian Hua Domain to the White River City was not opened. It was said that because of the state of war, more than a dozen ‘districts’, nearly a thousand ‘land’ and tens of thousands of ‘countries’ large and small were all in melee. What shocked Yue Yang the most was the fact that the battles hadn’t ceased despite going on for almost 3000 years.

Countless warriors have already died in battle, but the war never stopped. In fact, it was impossible for the fight to stop unless most of the forces of Tian Hua Domain were wiped out.

The more people die, the more the hatred grows.

The more races and forces join the melee, the more intense conflict of interests would arise.

In the Tian Hua Domain, without a patriotic army and gallant warriors, everyone played the role of helpless victims stuck in a never-ending battle. At the same time, there were also executioners who participated in the manipulation of the war, one in which consisted of countless mercenaries.

The celestial warriors who were invited by various forces to come to help in the battle also perished here.

If their bones were piled up, a mountain that ranged a few thousand metres in height and a few hundred kilometres in width could probably be formed.

But in order to obtain the immediate benefits or to hone their martial skills on the battlefield, there were still countless warriors pouring into this war of the Tian Hua Domain every single day. The state of constant battle operated like a meat grinder— unrelenting and bloody.

“Welcome, rich and brave businessmen,” In the entire Heaven Realm, the Tian Hua Domain was the place that enjoyed the visits of businessmen and entrepreneurs the most. That was because the merchants who dared to come to the Tian Hua Domain were known as the bravest adventurers in the world. Although the three Emperors of the Tian Hua Domain fought to the death, in order to continue the war, they all announced a decree: no one was allowed to rob and kill businessmen without any reason. The freedom to contract and cultivate businesses were protected by the greatest order in the Tian Hua Domain and no one was allowed to confiscate or seize the goods and the freedom of merchants without any logical reason. With the merchants, businessmen and the various materials they bring, the civilians in the Tian Hua Domain who were caught in the war could continue to live.

The army needed even more supplies as well.

And so, the three Emperors who were also competing for the throne of the Domain Emperor could also continue to fight for the position of becoming the first ultimate leader of the Tian Hua Domain. In the Heaven Realm, if a powerful Domain Emperor was born in one area, it was a great thing to happen; if two equally powerful Domain Emperors were born, it was a bad thing. As three powerful Domain Emperors were born at the same time, the current situation was nothing less than a nightmare!

Before coming to Tian Hua Domain, Yue Yang had learned about some of the situations in the Tian Hua Domain. Like many people, he disguised himself as a wealthy businessman and officially stepped into this chaotic place. With his identity as a businessman, he could go almost anywhere, let alone the White River City.

Of course, since he was a businessman, owning goods was essential.

Especially for someone like Yue Yang, who came to the Tian Hua Domain for the first time, the border guards would never let such a ‘suspicious person’ enter without a trail of goods behind him. It’s not impossible to enter secretly, but Yue Yang didn’t need to hide and cower around like a mouse; wouldn’t it be better for him to breach the area openly and use the goods to earn some extra money on the way to achieve his true goal? The Tian Hua Domain had very high-quality Electro-optic Ores, which was one of the items that Yue Yang needed to make the Beast Bracelets.

Yue Yang, Princess Qian Qian, Yue Yu and the Drunken Cat Yu Jie took the luxury airship in front.

In addition to this luxurious airship that did not carry cargo, there was a fleet behind it, which was full of food that was sufficient for fifty broad cargo ships and fine wine for ten narrowly long clippers. Bao Gu was their main ‘face’ as he presented himself as the head of the regiment of the Southern Heaven Realm’s Nightless City. As for their escorts, it was the Flying Locust and Hua Ban that the Bison Regiment took initiative to send over from the Nightless City.

Also, the surrendered trio Zhong Guan, Bai Ma and Hei Tu who have won Yue Yang’s trust, were here as well.

As for Yong Hui and Yue Su, whose strengths were greatly depleted, Yue Yang did not trust them completely, so he decided to let them be for now.

Although the Captain of the Guard, Zhong Guan’s strength was only at the 3rd Level of the Heaven Rank, his strength was very good in the long-term battlefield of the Tian Hua Domain. With such a large group of Heaven Rankers as his guards and with a luxurious airship that he owned, no one would dare to cross him even if he wasn’t trying to appeal as a businessman.

There were five Heaven Ranked powerhouses as guards?

Among the many businessmen and merchants in the entire Tian Hua Domain, even if he was not ranked in the top ten, he would be placed within the top twenty— it would be foolish for anyone to doubt him.

“Fifty boats of food? And ten boats of wine? It’s too much—no, we can’t take it. Not just the Council of Commerce— even with every merchant of the Golden Sun City combined, we can’t take it. You may not know, but do you have at least an idea of the price of the food here? Dare I say that the number of people who died of starvation in Tian Hua Domain was ten times more than the number of people killed by the war! Dear Lord Bao Gu, please sit down quickly. No, of course we do not dare to keep things secret as we always have great respect for huge and successful business groups like yours. It’s just that we need to convene some manpower, so please give us a little time. I dare say that not only our businessmen in the Golden Sun City, but starving soldiers and civilians would sing praises of your generosity as you have come in time and your help would be too great. If you did not come, in another month, at least one-fifth of the people here would probably starve to death and the rate would keep increasing as well… Lord Bao Gu, please sit down and I will inform the City Lord immediately. You can rest assured that even without your five Heaven Ranked guards, no one would dare to touch your cargo at this time!” When the fleet came to a place called the Golden Sun City, which was also the largest grain merchant in the area. However, this man seemed to have the keenest sense of smell. He was out here to greet them in no time and once he heard that there were fifty boats worth of food, his excitement was hardly contained as he fought the urge to hug the Lord that suddenly arrived like a saviour.

“We have food; these fifty boats are just a small tryout. We are considering the business prospects of Tian Hua Domain and we’re trying to see whether such an investment will pay off,” Bao Gu exuded an aura of a Master as he spoke solemnly.

Now, he was no longer a small, travelling businessman who was bullied so badly that he didn’t even dare to embark on any adventures.

After getting to know Yue Yang, his fate took a 180-degree turn.

Of course, he was not the only one who had a change of fate.

There was also the Fat Frog Jia De!

Although Bao Gu was the head of the caravan that led the team this time, because of his qualifications, Bao Gu had to call Fat Frog the ‘Chairman’ to show his respect. Yue Yang had already handed over the entire Titan Council of Commerce in Jia De’s hands before entering the Heaven Realm. With that, Fat Frog did not disappoint and managed the Titan Council of Commerce in an impressive manner, making Yue Yang very satisfied. This outstanding performance also made Fat Fog Jia De the first Toad man in the Entire tower to be lucky enough to integrate the Dragon Blood; perhaps he was even the only Toad within the entire Heaven Realm who was blessed with that honour. If it weren’t for the Fat Frog Jia De’s physique that might not be able to withstand too strong of a bloodline transformation, Yue Yang even wanted to give him the supreme honour of the Ancient Dragon Blood.

Since he was not very familiar with things in the Heaven Realm, Fat Frog was also willing to share his power and handed over the opportunity to lead the team to Bao Gu.

He was responsible for cooperating and integrating the business group together.

This way, Fat Frog gained more recognition from Yue Yang and respect from Bao Gu!

“Master Bao Gu, I dare say that this place is definitely worth investing in. With food, you can have everything here, including the lives of others! Here, there is nothing that cannot be exchanged for food!” The grain merchant patted his chest and gave Bao Gu a guarantee.

“Since that’s the case, then I won’t beat around the bush,” Bao Gu directly stated his own conditions, “We need the Electro-optic Ores.”

“Electro-optic Ores are military-controlled products…” When the merchant heard this, his facial expressions fell

“If there is none, then I will leave!” Bao Gu didn’t bother wasting his time.

“Wait, Master Bao Gu, please don’t be angry, please listen to our explanation. It’s not that there aren’t any Electro-optic Ores, but they are generally purchased by the country’s Lord before they are melted and refined into weapons. It was one of the orders of the Domain Emperors— those who illegally obtained them, including global exports, will be decapitated,” The grain merchant was full of worry.

“We don’t need public transactions, wise merchant. Have you ever thought about this? As long as you capture weapons on the battlefield and hand over those scraps to us, then we can donate food and wine to you— think about it. Sometimes, it’s easy to obtain someone’s friendship, especially one that’s delivered to your door. However, when that opportunity to establish a friendship goes away, you can’t get it back even if you regret it later,” Bao Gu’s skill with words was immensely trained in the Nightless City. The most important thing was that he had food in hand; so no matter what he demanded or how he behaved, the merchant couldn’t say anything about it!

“It’s so irritating, is this also the way to entertain guests?” Jia De, the Fat Frog, added oil to the burning flames of annoyance.

“Wait, wait! Two gentlemen, don’t be angry— your proposal is very good, but we need a decision maker. I think the City Lord will agree to this good proposal. I will go to him immediately, but please be sure to give us this chance,” The grain merchant had to succumb. His granary could practically feed the air, but he just encountered a fleet that was still full of grains. Even if he was to die because of this decision, he must not let it slip away from his grasp.

With that being said, how can something like the Electro-optic Ores be a problem?

That’s right!

They won’t trade; they’ll just give it as a gift!

Moreover, being such an awesome business group, he believed that even if the higher-ups knew about it, they would close one eye and pretend not to hear about it.

When Bao Gu and Jia De teamed up to intimidate the grain merchant, Yue Yang was studying the routes.

The problem was that this White River City was almost situated in the centre of the Tian Hua Domain.

Why did the snake-haired demon man, the eldest Young Master of the Four Major Families, ask Yue Yang to meet him there? Could it be that there were other secrets in the White River City? Are there artifacts out there? Or some kind of treasure being formed? Or was there any ruins there that made the snake-haired demon man so anxious to the point where he’d set off to find a treasure the moment he escaped the Earth Demon Palace?

“Have you noticed that in White River City-no, the entire area here is full of rivers, lakes, or swamps!” Princess Qian Qian said abruptly.

“If drawn like this, the city here seems to form a strange pattern,” Yue Yu also shared her discoveries in the past few days.

“Ah, I’m very ashamed, I didn’t find anything…” Drunken Cat Yu Jie quickly waved her hand when she saw Yue Yang looking at her.

“Let me think about something!” Yue Yang felt that Princess Qian Qian and Yue Yu both saw some really important points, but they were not complete. In the end, what kind of secrets did the White River City hide? Was it really as simple as an ordinary celestial city?

Bao Gu and Jia De, who had just boarded the luxury airship to report back to him, saw that Yue Yang was thinking long and hard with a map in hand. Hence, they turned around quickly and left quietly.

Compared to what he was going to do, the Council of Commerce’s affairs were not worth mentioning.

It was better to not disturb him— they would handle the matters with the City Lord and the grain merchant themselves!
