Chapter 17

"Lord, you have seen the situation over these few days. Those players are truly despicable. Our clan suffers tens of thousands of casualties every day. If this situation continues, I fear that our half-orc race will be wiped out!"

With a plan in mind, Zhou Tian directly approached the half-orc leader and began to discuss the dangers posed by the players.

Although the half-orc leader was not very intelligent, once Zhou Tian steered the conversation in that direction, the leader began to follow Zhou Tian's line of thought.

Thus, when Zhou Tian finished speaking, the half-orc leader instinctively asked, "What should we do?"

Looking at the half-orc leader's dull expression, Zhou Tian felt a slight disdain in his heart. However, despite his disdain, Zhou Tian showed great respect and bowed, saying, "Our half-orc race is now facing the threat of extinction. In such a situation, it is necessary for you, Lord, to turn the tide."

"How should we do it?"

"Please inform the High Priest of our current predicament. I believe that if the High Priest is willing to intervene, not only will our crisis be resolved, but with so many players killed, the number of our clan members will likely increase even more."

After hearing Zhou Tian's words, the half-orc leader's eyes suddenly sparkled, and he said, "Killing players, there's a reward! No notification, I'll do it!"

Although the half-orc leader's words were broken, Zhou Tian understood his meaning. After hearing the leader's words, Zhou Tian quickly advised, "Lord, you must not! There are too many players, and most of our men cannot see them. If you order them to attack, I fear..."

"What should we do?" For a moment, the half-orc leader seemed to forget that Zhou Tian was just a half-orc warrior. He asked Zhou Tian for advice like a student.

At this point, Zhou Tian knew his plan was almost successful. However, he did not show any joy on his face. Instead, he pretended to think deeply before saying, "Lord, I suggest we do this. We fear the players' coordinated attacks. Therefore, we should avoid large groups of players and find a secluded place to wait for them to come to us. This way, only a few players will come at a time, and with your strength, Lord, dealing with them should not be a problem."

"Good, you handle it!" With the half-orc leader's intelligence, he could not see the flaws in Zhou Tian's plan. He immediately approved it and even entrusted the specific tasks to Zhou Tian, which was akin to courting disaster.

Zhou Tian was secretly pleased but nodded solemnly and then left.

Afterward, Zhou Tian did not keep the half-orc leader waiting long. The half-orc leader's reaction was as Zhou Tian had expected, so he had already made the necessary preparations. Thus, it did not take long for Zhou Tian to complete the tasks assigned by the half-orc leader.

"Lord, please follow me." After waiting for some time, Zhou Tian, as if he were truly searching for a suitable location, met with the half-orc leader again and led him to the place he had chosen.

Given the half-orc leader's intelligence, he did not suspect Zhou Tian. After seeing Zhou Tian, he obediently followed him.

Finally, under Zhou Tian's guidance, they avoided the areas where people often appeared and reached a secluded location.

"Lord, even our clan members rarely come to this place. I believe that under normal circumstances, the players will not come here in large numbers."

"Very good, let's wait!" After confirming Zhou Tian's efforts, the half-orc leader was prepared to wait for the players to come.

However, Zhou Tian could not agree with this. Almost immediately, he objected, "Lord, our position is too secluded. If we do not take action, I fear the players will not come at all!"

Clearly, the half-orc leader found Zhou Tian's words hard to understand. After all, he had been following Zhou Tian's arrangements, so why would Zhou Tian suddenly negate them?

Seeing the half-orc leader's puzzled expression, Zhou Tian, though frustrated, had to explain, "Lord, while we can avoid most players here, we must do something to attract them. Otherwise, no players will come."

"What should we do?"

"Draw the players here! Since they won't find this place on their own, we should reveal our presence. This way, when the players know we are here, they will come. However, we must be careful. If we accidentally draw too many players, we might not be able to handle them."

"Good, you do it." The half-orc leader, influenced by Zhou Tian's words, believed that only Zhou Tian could accomplish this task. Thus, he immediately entrusted the task of drawing the players to Zhou Tian.

Zhou Tian, of course, did not refuse. After hearing the half-orc leader's words, he accepted the task without hesitation and immediately began to act based on his previous preparations.

Under Zhou Tian's orders, a few players, whom Zhou Tian suspected were alts, were lured by his half-orc warriors and unknowingly led to the location where Zhou Tian and his group were waiting.

Zhou Tian was not far from the half-orc leader. When the players appeared, the half-orc leader was immediately excited and prepared to jump out from hiding.

However, Zhou Tian did not give him any chance. As soon as the players came into the half-orc leader's sight, Zhou Tian gave the order, and his half-orc warriors suddenly attacked the players.

Initially, the players, due to the shield, did not see the large number of half-orc warriors around them. When the half-orc warriors revealed themselves on Zhou Tian's command, the players, surrounded by so many half-orc warriors, did not last long and soon fell at Zhou Tian's feet.

The entire process happened so quickly that by the time the half-orc leader jumped out from hiding, the players were already dead. Although the players were ultimately killed, Zhou Tian's actions caused the half-orc leader to be displeased.

Originally, Zhou Tian had repeatedly offered advice to the half-orc leader. Although the leader did not show much, he still remembered Zhou Tian's contributions.

However, when everything was going smoothly, the half-orc leader did not expect Zhou Tian to directly claim the final victory. Although Zhou Tian only killed one player, and the others were killed by the half-orc warriors, the half-orc leader blamed Zhou Tian for all the displeasure. As a result, not only did the leader lose his good feelings toward Zhou Tian, but he also developed some dissatisfaction.

However, monsters are simple by nature. Even though the half-orc leader was dissatisfied with Zhou Tian, he did not act on it. After sizing up Zhou Tian, he directly ordered, "You go down, let others draw them!"

Clearly, Zhou Tian's actions had directly caused the half-orc leader to lose trust in him. Now, when the leader wanted to draw players, he no longer wanted Zhou Tian to do it.

Being dismissed by his lord was not a good thing for anyone. However, Zhou Tian did not feel this way. After hearing the half-orc leader's words, he did not argue and immediately withdrew with his men.

"Hmph!" The half-orc leader, unaware of Zhou Tian's intentions, had already seen how Zhou Tian lured and killed the players. With his intelligence, he believed he now understood how to kill players. Therefore, even if Zhou Tian was driven away, the half-orc leader believed he could handle the situation. Thus, Zhou Tian's departure did not affect the half-orc leader. After Zhou Tian left, the half-orc leader immediately began to act in the same way.

In reality, if the half-orc leader were to use the same method against NPCs, even if some issues arose, nothing major would happen. However, with the half-orc leader's intelligence, he could not see the difference between players and NPCs.

The same method that worked on NPCs did not work on players, and the reason was simple: players could respawn.

After Zhou Tian killed those players, he estimated that the players would remember this location. When they saw that a half-orc leader was nearby, Zhou Tian was confident that even if they did not have their main characters, they would call their friends to come and fight the boss.

Thus, what Zhou Tian needed to do now was only one thing.
