(It's a new week, Xiaodao is seeking clicks, recommendations, and collections. Also, I've reached the third river, please give me a third river vote, thank you!)

Xiaoming put away the Type 99 tank. Luo Tai and Wesley walked into a dark room, which was not shown in the movie. This was probably Sloan's final hiding place. The door to the dark room was tightly locked and very sturdy.

Luo Tai had Wesley guard the side while he used his powerful leg to kick the door open. Behind the door was a dark passage. The two cautiously entered, one after the other.

The passage was very narrow and dimly lit. Wesley pulled out his gun, and Luo Tai drew his knife. They knew the final confrontation was about to begin!

They walked about seven or eight meters when a bullet whizzed by. "Bang!" Wesley immediately fired a bullet that precisely collided with the incoming one, producing a crisp sound.

However, before the gunshots had even faded, another dozen bullets whizzed by. Luo Tai swung his arms and rolled forward, shouting, "Charge in!"

"Bang, bang, bang, bang..."

A dozen throwing knives hit the whizzing bullets. Taking advantage of the momentum, Luo Tai and Wesley bravely charged out of the narrow passage into a spacious circular room.

As soon as they entered the room, more bullets flew at them. Wesley and Luo Tai quickly dodged, but the room was quite open, leaving few places to hide.

"Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh, bang, bang, bang, bang!!" Throwing knives and bullets flew around. Wesley ran out of bullets in his gun, and Luo Tai used up all the throwing knives on his belt. Additionally, Wesley's left hand was injured.

The two hid under a round table. Wesley felt the situation was becoming urgent, while Luo Tai calmly observed the area, feeling that it would be safe to release the Type 99 tank. Just as he was about to press the button on his watch, a voice came from the room.

"Hello, we finally meet again!" At the same time, six assassins, including Foges, appeared in the circular room, forming a circle around the center where Sloan stood. The voice had just come from him.

Wesley and Luo Tai exchanged glances and then came out from under the table. The six assassins aimed their guns at them, while Luo Tai and Wesley looked around at the group.

Luo Tai assessed the situation, his mind racing with thoughts on how to ensure Foges' survival while killing Sloan.

Sloan, dressed in a black suit with gray hair, did not look particularly dejected.

"It's you who orchestrated all this. The Loom of Fate has been under your control all along," Wesley shouted at Sloan, looking at Foges.

The room suddenly fell silent, and the six assassins looked at Sloan in confusion.

"Your name has been on the Loom of Fate all along. My father knew this, so you wanted to kill him. You wanted to control the Assassin's Guild and build your own kingdom," Wesley continued.

After a long pause, Foges coldly asked Sloan, "Is what he said true?"

Sloan did not directly answer Foges but pulled out a stack of papers from his pocket and slowly walked around the room, saying, "When you joined this organization, I told you that each of us had to face a choice—do you want to continue living a miserable life, tasting the ordinary, the pitiful, and the depressed, like sheep herded by fate? Or do you want to join our ranks, unleash the wolf within you, and take control of your destiny?

Our mission is to maintain balance in this unstable world: kill one, save a thousand. Because in the structure of this world, every life hangs by a thread, so we must become that thread. Our 'Brotherhood' is destined to be filled with assassinations and weapons. Before you truly make a decision, this is a choice: be a sheep or a wolf? It's up to you.

At the time, you all chose to be wolves... The Loom of Fate is just a broken machine. We have come this far because of our own beliefs. Hmph, Wesley is right, my name is indeed on the Loom, but so are yours..." He walked over to Foges and handed him a paper, saying, "This is yours..."

He continued walking to another assassin and threw down another paper, "This is yours..." He kept walking and throwing, "This is yours..."

"We are all on the list," Sloan finally shouted, "But I believe our fate should not be controlled by a machine. We must build our own 'Assassin Kingdom,' a guild completely under our control! So, now you have a choice: first, shoot yourselves; second... shoot these two."

Saying this, he returned to the center.

This was the final scene of the movie. Luo Tai was thinking, not really interested in Sloan's ramblings. He was calculating. He still had one last throwing knife in his sleeve, and he could immediately kill Sloan. However, Foges would throw a ring bullet, which would circle the room and kill all the assassins, including himself.

Luo Tai couldn't stop Foges from killing the others, but he could throw the knife to save Foges when the bullet was about to hit his forehead.

But Sloan might take this opportunity to escape. Luo Tai was in a dilemma; he had to either kill Sloan when Foges fired or save Foges. Both were part of his mission, and neither could be neglected!

Luo Tai noticed a hidden door behind Sloan, which the man had likely prepared to escape through when the assassins acted.

The assassins were hesitant, possibly thinking. Foges, however, was looking at Wesley with her beautiful eyes, as if giving him a hint.

Luo Tai took a step forward and said, "Sloan, it's not us who are damned, but you. You deceived everyone, you're a bastard, yet you pretend to be a saint. Today, I will definitely do one thing: kill you!"

Sloan smiled slightly and said, "Luo Tai! Not only is your name on the Loom of Fate, but there's even a photo."

"Great," Luo Tai said with a smile, "Do you know why?"

Sloan didn't speak.

"Because I made a bet with God. Either I would be killed by the Assassin's Guild, or I would destroy the Assassin's Guild. This is why I am here today. And I want to tell you, I will win this bet!" Luo Tai said coldly, staring at Sloan.

"What are you waiting for?" Sloan suddenly shouted.

Before the words had even faded, Foges suddenly pulled the trigger, and the bullet circled the room as in the movie.

At the same time, Sloan turned to run.

"Roar!" Luo Tai swung his arm.

"Bang!!" The last throwing knife hit the bullet heading for Foges!

"Whoosh!"

"Thud!!" A pen pierced through Sloan's neck from behind, the pen's immense energy like a sword, piercing through his throat.

Sloan fell to the ground, his body still convulsing. He struggled to turn over and looked at Luo Tai, who was approaching step by step, in disbelief.

Wesley rushed over and embraced Foges, preventing her from any further suicide attempts. The remaining five assassins had already been killed by Foges.

It turned out that while Luo Tai was talking to Sloan, he had already slid the pen from his left wrist into his hand. This pen was actually Luo Tai's last "bullet"!

Blood gushed from Sloan's throat, and he could no longer speak...

"Killing you doesn't necessarily require bullets or throwing knives. A pen is enough!" Luo Tai said coldly, looking at the dying Sloan.

Sloan's eyes were wide open, and his body convulsed a few more times before finally stilling. At the same time, Luo Tai's watch vibrated. However, he didn't immediately check it but turned to Wesley and Foges.

"Don't be foolish and kill yourself. Sloan is not worth it, and neither is the Assassin's Guild. There is no Loom of Fate in this world. Fate should always be in your own hands!" Luo Tai said, looking at Foges.

Foges, tears streaming down her face, slowly said, "Don't you two hate me?"

Wesley didn't speak, but Luo Tai said, "Hate, really! But do you know what the highest realm of an assassin is?"

"Kill one, save a thousand?" Foges replied.

Luo Tai shook his head and said, "Respect life!"

Respect life? This contradictory idea left Foges and Wesley in confusion.

"Who... who are you?" Foges murmured.

"A passerby who made a bet with God," Luo Tai said as he picked up the papers on the ground. He then said to them, "From today on, our old selves are dead. We will start a new life!"

With that, he pulled out a lighter from his pocket and slowly burned the papers.

At this moment, the sound of police sirens came from outside the castle, likely due to the commotion.

"We need to leave here quickly," Luo Tai said to the two.

The three, led by Foges, escaped through the hidden door from the Brotherhood's headquarters. Once they were safe, Luo Tai finally checked his watch.
