As cherry blossoms danced in the wind, Misaki opened the old diary and read the words of promise written there.

If someone else had seen Sun Fatzi's performance, they would have undoubtedly thought that Sun Fatzi was extremely angry. However, Luo Tai knew Sun Fatzi better than Sun Fatzi knew himself. Just by seeing Sun Fatzi lying on the ground with one foot still swinging, Luo Tai knew that the fat man was still putting on an act.
"Alright, Fatso, if you have something to say, just say it. What's the point of this childish behavior?"
Sun Fatzi sat up from the ground, crossed his legs, and glared at Luo Tai, shouting, "Luo Tai, I'm warning you, don't think I'm just messing with you this time. I'm really angry."
Luo Tai frowned, "If you want to play, then play by yourself. I'm going back. Also, Fatso, if you keep this up, I'll really get angry."
Sun Fatzi looked up at Luo Tai's face with a serious expression, then suddenly jumped up and asked, "No way, Luo Tai, you've never been angry when I played like this before. What's up with you today?"
Luo Tai chuckled, "What's up? Nothing. Do you think it's only allowed for you to mess with me and not for me to mess with you once?"
Sun Fatzi was taken aback, pointing at Luo Tai for a while without saying anything, then burst out laughing with Luo Tai.
After laughing enough, Sun Fatzi put his arm around Luo Tai's shoulder and whispered, "To be honest, I was half serious and half joking just now. I was using the opportunity to vent my frustrations. You know I'm a foodie, yet you've never made me a bowl of that delicious black fish roe, even though you can make it so well. I don't care, but tonight you have to make me a whole pot, and I must eat until I'm full, stuffed, and even puking."
Luo Tai turned to look at Sun Fatzi, sighed, and said, "You're beyond saving."
Just as the two were using their unique way to show their friendship, Sun Fatzi's phone rang.
Sun Fatzi let go of Luo Tai, winked at him, and pulled out his phone, instantly breaking into a broad smile.
"Hello, is this Reporter Wenren? Yes, yes, I'm Sun Jituo. Ah? You're bringing the production team to our restaurant soon? No problem, no problem. I'll be waiting for you at the restaurant. Okay, see you soon."
After hanging up, Sun Fatzi looked up at Luo Tai with a proud expression, like a rooster that had just lost its virginity, "Ah ha, the reporter from the economic channel is coming soon, and Fatso is going to be on TV. Luo Tai, how do I look? Will I look especially handsome on TV?"
Luo Tai sighed, "Fatso, I'm not trying to discourage you, but you're just too much of a mess. No matter how you dress up or pose, when you're on TV, people will know you're advertising pig feed."
"Damn, you dare to look down on your Fatso? Here's my deadly scissor kick, Luo Tai, give me your life!"
"Heaven, spare me, spare me..."
"Why do you call me Marshal? Even though Fatso is so wise and brave."
"Huh? You forgot? Brother, you're the Heavenly Marshal, you're a god!"
"You dare to call me a pig? Go to hell!"
"Someone has gone mad with pig fever!"
Amidst the laughter and play, Luo Tai and Sun Fatzi chased each other into the Good Luck Restaurant. The TV reporter was coming for an interview, so they needed to clean up and make the place presentable for the audience.
Wenren Muxue sat in the interview van, feeling very depressed.
She had been working at the Jibei City TV Station's economic channel for two years. Apart from the first year of internship, she had been working independently for a year.
Unfortunately, she hadn't uncovered any significant news stories in the past year, which had led to the chief editor's cold attitude towards her. If it weren't for her strong connections, Wenren Muxue would have been relegated to obscurity long ago.
The Good Luck Restaurant was a news lead she had discovered by chance. Initially, Wenren Muxue had gone to visit an old classmate who worked in an office building on Dajing Street. Her classmate mysteriously took her to this seemingly ordinary little restaurant, praising it highly and claiming that Wenren Muxue would definitely come back for more after trying it once.
Wenren Muxue had initially dismissed her classmate's words, thinking that there couldn't be anything special about a regular roadside restaurant, especially one that wasn't a century-old family business.
However, the food at Good Luck Restaurant completely won her over. As she savored the delicious meal, her journalistic instincts kicked in. She noticed a large group of homeless people gathered outside the restaurant. When she learned that the owner provided a free meal to the homeless every day, her eyes lit up. This was the perfect news story to promote positive social values.
Excited, Wenren Muxue returned to the TV station and proposed an interview with Good Luck Restaurant. The chief editor's face turned icy, but after much pleading, she was allowed to conduct the interview. The chief editor promised a maximum of 10 seconds of airtime, and even that was uncertain.
With only 10 seconds of airtime, Wenren Muxue had lost interest in the story and had been delaying contact with the restaurant owner. Even when the owner visited the station twice, she had her colleagues fend him off, claiming she was out on assignment.
Finally, when she had calmed down and was about to contact the owner, the chief editor threw a wrench in the works.
An hour ago, the chief editor called Wenren Muxue into the office and informed her that the station was taking the Good Luck Restaurant story very seriously. The chief editor had assigned the most favored reporter, Yan Nanfei, to the story, and the airtime had been increased from 10 seconds to 70 seconds.
70 seconds! When had the chief editor been so generous?
Wenren Muxue suspected that the fat owner must have bribed the chief editor with a golden Buddha statue.
Seeing Yan Nanfei constantly applying makeup in the front seat, Wenren Muxue felt a twinge of discomfort. She and Yan Nanfei had no real conflicts. Yan Nanfei was the station's star reporter, appearing frequently on camera, especially for food-related stories. Wenren Muxue was just a regular reporter, and they rarely interacted. However, she couldn't help but feel annoyed by Yan Nanfei's overly dramatic behavior, perhaps out of jealousy.
When the interview van arrived at Good Luck Restaurant, Wenren Muxue was the first to step out. As soon as her feet touched the ground, Sun Fatzi rushed over, his face beaming with a sycophantic smile, and grabbed her hands.
"Ah, welcome, Reporter Wenren! Thank you for coming. Please come in and have a cup of tea first."
Wenren Muxue calmly pulled her hands away from Sun Fatzi, wiping them on her clothes. Before she could speak, Yan Nanfei, who had just stepped out of the van, spoke in a sweet voice, "Mr. Sun, right? Hello, I'm Yan Nanfei, the lead reporter for this assignment. It's a pleasure to meet you."
Wenren Muxue turned to look at Yan Nanfei in surprise. Yan Nanfei's attitude was unusual. When had she ever been so enthusiastic about a small interview subject?
Sun Fatzi clearly heard the emphasis on "lead reporter" in Yan Nanfei's words. His smile vanished, and he frowned, looking back and forth between Yan Nanfei and Wenren Muxue. "You're the lead reporter? Wasn't Reporter Wenren supposed to be the main interviewer?"
Yan Nanfei's smile froze. She hadn't expected the owner to be so clueless, asking such a naive question.
Wenren Muxue couldn't help but smile. Ha, this fat owner was quite amusing, daring to challenge Yan Nanfei's authority. Now, she no longer found Sun Fatzi annoying; in fact, he seemed more likable when he was humorous.
However, Yan Nanfei, being an experienced reporter, quickly regained her composure. "Mr. Sun, the station is taking this interview very seriously. To ensure its quality, they decided to have me lead it. Reporter Wenren is still relatively new and might make mistakes during the interview."
