I felt my body floating.
It was as if I had jumped from the balcony, but this place didn't seem to be the first-floor garden or a walkway.
The only thing visible in the pitch-black darkness was a pale purple aurora. The translucent aurora looked like a thin curtain fluttering in the wind.
It felt as if I was floating in the middle of space, free from gravity, or perhaps being gently carried by calm waves.
The strange and mysterious sensation wasn't entirely unpleasant, so Eunha closed her eyes and surrendered her body to the floating sensation.
Behind her closed eyelids, her mother's smile appeared as if it had been waiting.
"Our daughter becoming a college student was my wish. Of course, I'm happy."
Eunha didn't think that 'it' was really her mother.
However, she felt fortunate that she could meet her this way, that she could hear her this way. It was fortunate that the last image of her mother she remembered was not one of her being buried under debris, but of her smiling.
Eunha had just imprinted her mother's final smile on her eyelids several times, vowing never to forget it.
How much time had passed?
Thud─
The moment her floating legs touched the ground,
You have entered the gate.
