"Can you show me your invitation?"
At the Seoul S Hotel, Eunha, who was about to naturally step inside, suddenly stopped in her tracks.
"…Here."
As she handed over the red envelope she had prepared in advance, the man in a suit carefully examined it and then returned it to Eunha.
"Thank you for the confirmation. I will escort you to the grand ballroom. This way, please."
He led Eunha to a different place, not the central lobby elevator.
While following the man, Eunha also glanced around. The hotel lobby was empty, and even the front desk was completely deserted.
Is a 'party' really being held here? The surroundings were so quiet that even a mouse could have died without a sound.
"You can use this elevator."
"Thank you."
I didn't know there was another elevator in such a remote place. Eunha stared at the golden automatic doors in front of her.
Eventually, the doors opened, and as she stepped into the shiny elevator, it began to move upward on its own without her pressing any buttons.
'How many floors will it go to?'
Eunha glanced up. There were no indicators or monitors showing the floor number. The only thing there was a single mirror on the left wall.
Eunha checked her reflection in the elevator mirror again.
A black mermaid-line dress with a knee-length hem. The design was clean, with no significant decorations except for the sheer puffed sleeves. She also wore a black cat-shaped mask from the last auction.
'I can't wear the Black Flame Princess dress here.'
This morning, she had rushed out of the house and struggled to choose a dress. Fortunately, she managed to buy a suitable one thanks to the recommendation of a store employee.
Eunha fiddled with the mask she was wearing while silently waiting for the elevator to arrive.
When these doors open, Joon will be somewhere in the place I'm about to enter.
She still didn't know why Joon had invited her here. There was no guarantee that she would find out the reason today.
However, Eunha had come here. If she hadn't, she would have ended up not knowing anything.
Ding dong—
The elevator doors, which seemed like they would never open, finally did.
Eunha slowly stepped out.
