Chapter 1. Among them, I am the most

Most martial artists are mad. They practice day and night, determined to kill, and even skip meals and hold their bowels to meditate in order to increase their inner strength. How mad is this? It's like a monkey swinging a pair of swords all day, intent on killing other monkeys, or a monkey sitting in meditation, motionless, claiming it lacks the skill to act. A mad monkey swinging swords. A mad monkey in meditation. This is the essence of a martial artist. Even the righteous knights who claim to help others and the leaders of the martial alliance, who always proclaim themselves as the embodiment of justice, are not much different. They are all madly obsessed with the desire to be superior to others in the field of martial arts. In this sense, martial arts drive madmen to become even madder. Just as there is no end to learning, there is no end to mastering martial arts. Because they choose a path with no end and strive to reach its destination, martial artists go mad faster than others. Sometimes, both their bodies and minds go mad, a condition known as "zouhuiruemo" (走火入魔). I have experienced this, of course. The ancient sages said, "Feirenbutian" (非人不傳), meaning that one should not teach those who lack character. In fact, martial arts are studies that should not be taught to those who are not human. What would a madman do with powerful martial arts? They would unleash their instinctive desires without any restraint.色魔 and demons obsessed with slaughter would spread like a plague, and to kill these madmen, more people would practice martial arts, and that place would soon become the martial world. Therefore, when it is said that the principles of the martial world have fallen, it means that there are more madmen who have mastered martial arts than normal people who have. When there are too many madmen, the knights who try to catch them also go mad, so the martial world has always been mad. In such a martial world, I lived by beating madmen to death. Madmen were hidden in the White Path (正道) and were quite numerous in the Black Path (邪道). The Demon Path (魔道) is a place where they compete to see who is madder and even establish a hierarchy. I attacked those who deserved to die, regardless of their faction, which made me many enemies, but even I hate the Demon Path the most. There are often knights in the White Path who try to uphold human principles, and there are often righteous men in the Black Path who try not to cross the line. However, the Demon Path is generally like half-mad monkeys, spewing poison from their mouths, shooting lightning from their swords, and using bizarre skills to freeze the surroundings with their inner strength, tormenting people. This situation, where mad monkeys mostly dominate the martial world, is called the "Demon Path Reign" (魔道天下), and that is the current era. I have beaten madmen to death without regard for means or methods. Yet, there are still too many monkeys around me. I am a Mad Demon (狂魔).
