Time flies, and before he knew it, two years had passed. After two years of leisurely living, Bai Jingyue officially entered his third year of junior high school.

During these two years, apart from spending time with his sister and strengthening their bond, Bai Jingyue also became a member of the Disciplinary Committee, specifically joining the 177th branch as a vice-chairman, mostly just to be close and protect his sister. At that moment, Tokiwadai Misaki, who had lost her purpose after feeling the deep darkness of Academy City, was lying by the artificial lake. Her golden hair was scattered on the ground, as messy as her current state. She was thinking about her future, and finally, she pointed the remote control at her head, deciding to use her ability to reset her memory and forget everything.

Just as Tokiwadai Misaki was about to act, a teasing voice came from behind her, "Hey, girl, life is so beautiful, why are you thinking of giving up? Don't do anything rash."

Tokiwadai Misaki sat up and saw a white-haired teenager standing in front of her, wearing a black windbreaker and a white shirt. His handsome face and teasing smile gave him an oddly charming and slightly evil look. Strangely, the teenager had a cloth-wrapped stick-like object on his back.

This teenager was Bai Jingyue. When he saw a girl by the lake, he, out of his duty as a Disciplinary Committee member (really?), was worried that the girl might be thinking of something drastic, so he approached to advise her (was he just teasing her?). However, he was taken aback when the girl looked up.

Her golden hair, though messy, was still beautiful, with unusual star-like eyes, white gloves, and web-patterned panties (where was he looking...). Wasn't this the famous Level 5 psychic, Tokiwadai Misaki? What was she doing here?

Seeing the teenager's stunned expression, Tokiwadai Misaki frowned and assumed he was one of those delinquents who liked to tease girls (was he that obvious? Well, a little bit.).

She immediately tried to use her psychic powers to make Bai Jingyue leave. However, when she used her powers to command Bai Jingyue to leave, she found that her powers were ineffective! This was almost impossible! The teenager had no protective equipment! Tokiwadai Misaki was utterly shocked.

Not only did Bai Jingyue not leave, but he also squatted down next to her, completely unaffected by Tokiwadai Misaki's powers.

Tokiwadai Misaki's powers targeted the brain, which was a form of mental manipulation, but she couldn't control a non-physical entity like a ghost. Therefore, her powers were greatly reduced against Bai Jingyue.

While Tokiwadai Misaki was still shocked by the ineffectiveness of her powers, Bai Jingyue began to mock her.

"Tch, I thought it was some beautiful girl who was thinking of giving up, but it's the famous Level 5 psychic, Tokiwadai Misaki."

"What do you mean?" Tokiwadai Misaki was unhappy. Was she not a beautiful girl? Why did she care about this? Her thoughts were truly unfathomable... Anyway, let's not get into the details.
