"Uh..."
In the dimly lit room, a faint groan suddenly sounded from the bed. After a moment, a thin, dark figure rose from the bed, staggering slightly as it pushed itself up with great effort. It opened the door and walked unsteadily outside, turning a few corners to reach the balcony. Frowning, the figure took out a cigarette it had picked up on the way, put it between its lips, and fell into a silent reverie.
After an unknown amount of time, the dark figure shivered, and a curse rang out.
"Damn it! I actually got transported here!"
Bathed in the flickering light of the cigarette and the pale moonlight outside, a boy with a neat short haircut stood on the balcony, his face full of confusion, naked, looking at the street outside the balcony that was strangely familiar yet foreign.
"Damn it!"
Cursing again, the boy threw away the nearly finished cigarette, turned, and walked to the living room as he remembered it. He turned on the light, poured himself a glass of water, and sat at the dining table to sort through the memories of this body.
Name: Ito Sei, 17 years old, 1.78 meters tall, a rare tall person in Japan. He lived in the outskirts of Tokyo. His father was Chinese, who came to Japan to seek his fortune during the wave of reform and opening up, and had passed away. His mother, Ito Eriko, was a shrine maiden who helped her grandfather manage the family shrine. He had two older sisters: the eldest, Ito Suzu, 24 years old, had graduated from university two years ago and was a junior manager at a company; the second, Ito Reina, 18 years old, was a senior at a private high school, known for her excellent character and academic performance. In contrast, he was a sophomore at the same school, and due to his father's early death and his rebellious phase, he had a bit of a delinquent look, often gathering a group of friends to fight and extort protection money around the school...
"What the hell is this? A damn mess?" Ito Sei (now using this name) muttered to himself as he sorted through the memories, his face full of confusion.
Feeling烦躁, he lit another cigarette, letting his face appear and disappear in the smoke. His left hand unconsciously tapped the table as he continued to sort through the fragmented memories. After all, having just merged, it was impossible to immediately sort and absorb all the memories. To speed up the process, he needed to trigger more memories in daily life.
After about three cigarettes, the basic memories were sorted, but the other memories were still rapidly merging, and the excruciating headache continued. He reached for the glass of water on the table, drank it in one gulp, and, enduring the unbearable pain, returned to the room, locked the door, and quickly sat on the bed in a cross-legged position. As time passed, if it weren't for the occasionally furrowed brows and the continuous cold sweat, Ito Sei, sitting cross-legged on the bed, would have looked like he was asleep.
~~~~~~~~~~~ I am the headache divider ~~~~~~~~~~~
In the morning, as the noise outside grew louder, Ito Sei, who had been sitting cross-legged all night, twitched his fingers and slowly opened his eyes. The confusion from the previous night was gone, replaced by a calm expression. Clearly, the night of sitting cross-legged had not been in vain.
Indeed, after a night of sitting cross-legged, or rather, a method similar to meditation to calm the mind, the memory integration had indeed accelerated. At least, he had a preliminary adaptation to the living environment of this body. Although many detailed memories and events still needed to be triggered to recall, it was clear that they no longer hindered him from living as Ito Sei in this world.
He got up, slowly stretching his stiff body from sitting all night. After a while, he sat back on the bed, staring intently at his right hand raised to his chest. In an instant, a cube similar to a 12x12 grid, like a Rubik's cube, appeared in his hand.
Staring at the cube that was rotating and intersecting on its own in his hand, he thought to himself, "Is this the culprit of my transportation? According to those novels, what kind of magical power do you have?"
Just as Ito Sei's thoughts ended, the cube in his hand suddenly emitted a bright silver light, illuminating the entire room in a silver-white glow. Almost instantly, the silver light in the room shrank into a tiny silver-white light point, which, to Ito Sei's slightly narrowed and surprised eyes, flashed and disappeared into his forehead.
Before the surprise in Ito Sei's eyes could fade, a flood of information rushed in, making Ito Sei, who had just experienced the pain of memory integration, once again experience that inhuman pain.
"Ugh~" A low, muffled groan involuntarily escaped Ito Sei's mouth.
Fortunately, although the information was vast, the integration speed was incredibly fast. In just a few minutes, the inhuman pain receded like a tide, replaced by a refreshing sensation like a clear spring spreading throughout his head.
Ito Sei closed his eyes and silently organized the information that had just flooded his mind. A few minutes later, Ito Sei took a deep breath and thought to himself, "Phew, so that's it? It seems my life is destined to become colorful! But..."
Ito Sei got up, reached out, and forcefully opened the curtains, facing the rising sun, and opened his arms, smiling silently.
"But, I like it!"
He turned, opened the door, and walked towards the living room.
In the living room, an 18-year-old girl, about 1.56 meters tall, was helping a woman in her 30s, who was wearing an apron and had a slender figure and a hint of sharpness in her features, set the table with dishes. Hearing the sound of Ito Sei opening the door, she looked up at him as he walked down the stairs, her eyebrows slightly furrowing, but she put the ceramic bowl on the table without a reaction and continued to help the woman set the table.
"It's Sei, go wash your hands; we're about to eat," the woman said calmly, looking up at Ito Sei, who had walked into the living room.
"Got it," Ito Sei replied in the tone he remembered, then looked at the silent girl, his second sister, Ito Reina, and walked towards the bathroom.
Not long after, with another sound, a woman wearing a gray suit, a white blouse with a large lace collar, a gray business skirt, and black stockings that revealed her unusually straight legs for Japan, and wearing a wire-frame glasses, about 1.60 meters tall, walked down the stairs.
"Good morning, Mother, Reina."
The woman smiled and greeted them.
"Good morning, Suzu."
"Good morning, big sister."
The two nodded and smiled in response.
PS: Ah, it's been too long since I wrote, and the writing skills I had honed are completely gone. It seems I've become a bad writer again, and I can't even maintain 3k words. I'm depressed. But I believe in my ability, and I will definitely improve. Please support me!
PS: Damn the telecom, damn the network issues! If it weren't for them, I might not have had the determination to start writing. Although I've been thinking about it for a long time and have been revising the settings, I was never satisfied, and I was afraid of losing motivation. So, I wrote according to the most satisfactory setting.
PS: Well, the sun is almost up!
