"What are you doing?"

"Am I handsome?"

Since the guy had been doing random things for a while, Seo-un just let it go.

"Yeah, annoyingly so."

"You're handsome too."

"Even if I were, I wouldn't go to Seongra Department Store."

"Are you not pretty?"

"You?"

Cha-haya nodded, and his slightly curly hair swayed nicely.

"Are you not pretty in a human way?"

Yeah, rather, the pretty ones were like that.

Seo-un's gaze shifted away, and Cha-haya looked ahead with a cold eye.

The posture of the man walking from the department store side, with his hands in his pockets, was pure delinquency.

Hey... Isn't that Nam-gung Jun?

Seo-un leaned close to Cha-haya and whispered. The reason he didn't need to wear a mask was that Seo-un had completely removed all the bad smells from him.

"Don't know."

Seo-un couldn't tell if he really didn't know or was pretending not to know. Cha-haya's reaction was just cold.

"Then, what about Jeong-gal Jun?"

Ha-ha, Cha-haya suddenly smiled brightly. Seo-un preferred Cha-haya's smile to his blank expression. The desire for the person you like to always be happy is universal.

"Cha-cha."

Nam-gong Jun also noticed them and muttered to himself. Although they were both top-tier, it was the first time they had met face to face due to different factions.

There was no way Nam-gong Jun would look good to Seo-un. This guy had tried to kill Kim Han-sol and was the one who caused Seo-un to be reawakened as a healer. The DK badge that should have been on his chest was nowhere to be seen.

Was he chased out for the murder teacher accusation? It didn't seem like Kim Han-sol would have let him off easily, but as a top-tier, he might have hypnotized and escaped.

"Kim Han-sol was attacked at the Tachun hideout, right?"

Nam-gong Jun was the one who spoke first.

"I hate being misunderstood, so I'll say it first: I didn't tell Kim Han-sol to attack."

"Wow, Cha Seo-un. I've never seen a thief caught by his own foot before."

Seo-un pinched Cha-haya's side. Well, he tried to, but with only muscle, he couldn't really grab it. Nam-gong Jun, looking exhausted, added in a resigned tone.

"They say Lee Sung-hwan attacked, but that guy is in hiding now, and he's not that close to me. To transfer abilities, you need to be extremely close, you know."

His excuses were long-winded. But why he was doing this to them, who weren't even DK, was a mystery.

"Lee Sung-hwan said he had no memory after eating with me, but I didn't ask him to eat with me. He just came and sat next to me while I was eating alone."

Nam-gong Jun had a delicate face for a man, and his purple eyes suited him well. However, despite his pretty appearance, he was quite tall and had a solid build.

Seo-un always felt a bit awkward when seeing him on screen. Now, seeing him in person, he thought he understood why. In person, his face and body complemented each other well, but on screen, he looked like a composite.

"Aren't you going?"

Cha-haya asked Seo-un, who had stopped. It seemed he had no patience for matters outside his interest. Seo-un wasn't particularly interested either and didn't want to bring up the healer issue and stir up trouble. He was just about to nod and pass by.

"He's crying."

Do you have to say it out loud?

Seo-un scolded, and Cha-haya even raised his index finger and smiled mischievously. It was as if he was teasing a crying child, which was quite naughty.

Nam-gong Jun's chin was wrinkled, and tears streamed from his wide-open eyes. He didn't even blink, as if trying to insist he was crying from the stinging in his eyes.

"Damn, it's so unfair."

He sobbed as if he had been wrongly accused and imprisoned for a long time. Seo-un hesitated, thinking about whether to ignore him. If Nam-gong Jun wasn't just caught by his own foot, who had framed him?

Seeing a grown adult crying on the street, Seo-un helplessly rummaged through his pockets. He didn't expect to find a handkerchief, but he remembered the wet wipes in his backpack.

Seo-un brought his backpack to the front, took out the whole pack of wet wipes, and handed them to Nam-gong Jun. Nam-gong Jun, who had just started blinking, said "thank you" but it sounded more like a sob.

Cha-haya grabbed the backpack strap and pulled, increasing the distance between them.

"Field mouse guardian."

Even though he was a top-tier, he was a hypnotist, so he wouldn't cause physical harm.

Still, Seo-un stood next to Cha-haya without a word.

"Okay."

Seo-un nodded and passed by Nam-gong Jun. He moved closer to Cha-haya and whispered.

"Doesn't he seem really wronged? Who else is a top-tier hypnotist besides Nam-gong Jun?"

"We came to find our brother Abdulraziz."

"Who said what?"

Seo-un, feeling embarrassed, just adjusted his backpack.

"Cha Seo-un, I know you have a soft heart, but not everyone who cries is wronged. People can cry for any reason."

For some reason, Cha-haya was sharp.

"I know, okay?"

"Then don't give anyone a chance. Don't fix just anyone's problems."

Seo-un's eyes narrowed sharply, feeling as if he was being labeled as easy.

"What chance did I give? You're the one who gives more chances."

"I don't give chances lightly."

"Hey, you're so cold."

"If giving wet wipes isn't a chance, what is?"

"I didn't give anything special. Should I just ignore someone crying?"

"We're not that close."

What was he picking a fight about?

"I'd give a tissue to someone crying, even if we're not close. We have different personalities, so let's stop arguing. Honestly, is this even worth fighting over?"

"Damn."

Seo-un opened his mouth and eyes wide.

Is this kid cursing at me?

Cha-haya even drew his sword from his side. Seo-un, doubting his eyes, glared at Cha-haya. But he had been looking behind, not at Seo-un.

"Will you kill if I step on you?"

The one Cha-haya cursed at had already cleaned his face with the wet wipes.

Nam-gong Jun's eyes were only slightly red, as if he hadn't been crying at all.

"From what I've heard from Mr. Cha-haya, you're really a piece of shit."

It might have been a mishearing, but it sounded like he intentionally said "Mr. Cha-haya shit."

They had walked quite a distance from Nam-gong Jun, but the distance hadn't increased much. It seemed Nam-gong Jun was following them.

"Why are you following us?"

Due to the argument with Cha-haya and the disrespectful way Nam-gong Jun addressed him, Seo-un's voice was curt.

"Because I'm lonely."

Seo-un let out a sigh.

Top-tiers seemed to act on their whims and had strange ways of thinking. Whether their personalities changed after awakening or if only such people became top-tiers, it was a chicken-and-egg dilemma.

"If you're lonely, why are you following us?"

"Why did you come to the northwest?"

Sniff, it seemed he still had some snot left.

"Because I have an implicit agreement with DK, we can come over. Besides, we won't hunt mutants anyway."

"I know about the tunnel you guys handled in Tachun. Are you looking for another one? Should I help?"

A single wet wipe wouldn't create a strong bond, but Nam-gong Jun suddenly acted warmly.

"No, we're not looking for that. Let's each go our own way."

Seo-un turned Cha-haya around to face forward again. Fortunately, Cha-haya moved with Seo-un's touch without being stubborn. Thanks to Nam-gong Jun, they seemed to have found some stability after their bickering.

Seo-un turned to Cha-haya to change the atmosphere. He was about to bring up the common topic that Nam-gong Jun and Abdulraziz were both a bit strange.

"Cha Seo-un, didn't I clearly warn you?"

Looking up at him, the nebula in his eyes was colder than ever.

"About what?"

"I said I'd kill if you step on me."

Suddenly turning around, Cha-haya drew his sword from his waist and threw it.

Whoosh, the moment his sword flew toward Nam-gong Jun, it seemed to slow down. It was as if there was a chance to counter, just like when he faced mutants before losing his abilities as a swordsman.

Seo-un instinctively drew Matahari and quickly threw it. Clang! Cha-haya's sword hit Matahari and fell to the ground.

Seo-un's heart raced in surprise. When he had tested Seo-un by embedding a sword in a sofa, Seo-un couldn't even see his movements.

But what's going on now?
