From hot summer to cool autumn, the days went by in a hurry. Momo’s English proficiency had also made considerable progress. If she had to eat and sleep, or even go to the toilet to deal with this kind of nonsense…it’s hard to learn well. However, Momo was still unable to do anything about the entrance examination. She was studying computers as a subject in China. She had tried her best to find related books, but it was a pity that the IT industry had passed the Microsoft era, making her feel out-of-place.
Even then, Na Ze did not seem to be worried at all. It was only at the beginning of the autumn season in school. She was given a copy of a letter of notice for the entrance examination for the Royal College of Arts. Others couldn’t help but admire her for the artistic talent that she possesses, and wonder where it came from. Growing up in an orphanage, she did not have the opportunity to learn musical instruments. As for painting, her standard was the same as that of a child in kindergarten, only capable of painting birds. “What? You said that there are other categories in art? I am sorry, she doesn’t know at all!”
On the day of the test, Momo that was fumed in rage, barely looked at the good environment on the campus and was ready to stay in the classroom until the end of the exam. The teacher asked her to draw something on the canvas. She asked what she had to paint. The teacher flashed her a mysterious smile and allowed her to experience the mystery of life. Momo felt that she was being quite arrogant, but she had long heard that foreign universities would always test some messy and unexpected things…so she decided not to take it seriously. She thought that she was doing an intelligence test, and that she has to paint using gouache. Later, when she saw everyone’s serious expression as if in preparation for battle, she tensed up. Momo had to modify the painted bird to a bat, in an attempt to show her efforts.
Ten days later, she got to know from the newspaper that she had been accepted. The reason is very simple. Her work was recognized by the teacher. It was praised and been commended as a representative work with historical penetrating power, artistic and industrial design elements. It was even directly recommended to the relevant art competition and much to Momo’s surprise, her art piece won the championship!
Momo initially thought that Na Ze had his hands in this matter. “Who knows, Naze is also an unpredictable person. There are innocent claims that his connections have not been made yet. So Momo had to sigh: Art is such a mystery, the world is such a frenzy!”
Three months after dealing with the blood family every day, Momo finally returned to human society. But left behind the aftereffects: After she started school for a month, she started to believe that Earth has the most numbers of human beings instead of others. After another three months, she found out that there were dead rats around, she changed her bad habit of going towards the darkest corner in looking around.
At last, the feeling of freshness and discomfort passed, and Momo’s leisure-filled university life began. Her favorite time was tea time, with British afternoon tea, the unique taste of the drinks, the exquisite snacks, and of course, if there wasn’t noises coming from the sparrows, it would have been perfect.
“Momo, the piano prince of the music department, Hai Shi Zi is chasing you, how can you ignore him?” Momo’s new friend, Mirna from Sweden, held both hands and sat on the sidelines, asking Momo who was gazing at the vast blue sky.
Momo’s gaze shifted from the window to the side, sighed and she lowered her head to sip the warm milk. “I have said it many times, I am married.”
“What does your husband do?” Mary on the next table suddenly turned around and asked. She’s the famous mobile voice station of the school, and would naturally not miss the opportunity to gossip.
“Freelance.” Momo looked up at her and said slowly, saying that he is a freelancer, has a lot of freedom!
“Is it hard to support you?” Anna Lope from Greece, with her long ciliary hair, whispered, displaying a sympathetic and worrisome face.
“Oh, yes.” It is very hard to feed the blood race. Momo finished the last of the milk and began to twirl the cup.
“Look at you, you’re so talented and beautiful, how can you just find someone to marry, you getting married so early, is it for permanent residence in the UK?! As long as you are admitted to the Royal College of Art, the Visa is easy, you really are stupid!” said Xia Yun Zhen, who was sitting on the other side of Momo. She was from China like Momo. She always felt that she needed to protect this little sister. In fact, Momo was older, of course, but her age at heart, um, difficult to calculate.
“I don’t know…” Momo was helpless at Xia Yun Zhen’s anger. She didn’t know how she got married herself. People who have forgotten everything are really pitiful.
Xia Yun Zhen saw Momo had wrinkled her nose like a puppy. She immediately felt that her straightforward way of speaking was too cruel. She quickly reached out and patted her head, “Okay, don’t be sad, poor Momo, we Chinese are too naive when we are outside. It would be great if I had met you earlier!”
“Actually, it’s okay!” Looking at others’ sympathetic eyes made Momo feel a little embarrassed…but she can’t help it. She can’t tell her that her husband was a vampire!
People around her saw Momo’s mood wasn’t good, and it was rude to continue asking questions, so they redirected the conversation to another topic. Momo had her cup in her hand and casually listened to the gossip between the group of girls.
After a while, Mary received a call and suddenly stood on the neighboring table and screamed. “Oh, ah~ on Friday, our school is holding a gala dinner!”
“Really, really?!” All the girls were excited. The Academy of Arts has many world-renowned alumni. It will be very glorious if they can get their referrals and appreciation.
“Oh my God, what kind of clothes should I wear?”
“Ah, I have to save money to buy cosmetics this month!”
“I want to lose weight, I want to lose weight!”
The girls were noisy, everyone’s face was excited and Momo didn’t know what to do. It was as if the protagonist were them. Momo rolled her eyes and prepared to end her tea time. But she got pulled by Mirna. “Momo, let’s go too!”
“Sorry, Mirna, I don’t have time.” Momo refused her. She was not interested in that kind of party. She knew that meeting celebrities would not help in her grades.. She was more troubled with the final examination now. The final exam… the reason why a miracle is called a miracle is that it’s not cheap to happen twice, so she cannot expect the teacher to be lenient this time as well.
“I am not calling you to the banquet,” Mirna blushed, glanced around and whispered. “I think the banquet may require a lot of masters at ceremonies and waiters. I, I want you to join me to work. You know, my family has finance problems, and you, don’t you need more money?”
As Momo listened to her saying this, she suddenly felt moved. Although she had a lot of cards, they were given to her from Na Ze, it wasn’t her hard-earned money. It will soon be Christmas, it’s strange to give him a gift with his own money. Rather, she would earn some money, and give him which would be more sincere.
That being the case, she answered, “Okay, I will accompany you!” Momo was full of enthusiasm and began to fantasize a huge success. There is nothing to be afraid of at a small party at school!
