More than two months later, the fair arena of Starlight Academy was bustling with people, lively and vibrant.

This was due to an unfair challenge, a battle between a non-attribute mana aura practitioner and an attribute mana aura practitioner. However, the one who issued the challenge was the weaker non-attribute side.

Gorin did not go back on his word, nor did he have any reason to. This was a great opportunity for him to wash away his humiliation, and he would not miss it for anything. Moreover, he believed he had an absolute advantage.

Besides the people from Class 2-2 and Class 2-8 who were most concerned, students from other classes in the second year, and even from the first and third years, came to watch the spectacle.

This was a battle between two top students who had broken through to the mana aura stage in the second year. At this stage, the number of people who could advance to the mana aura stage was still very few.

Now, as long as one was not too isolated and distant from the group in Starlight Academy, they would know that Luo Feng was a unique non-attribute martial artist. Thus, they were also very puzzled about the challenge.

"Is Luo Feng crazy? Why would he challenge Gorin again?"

"I heard that Gorin provoked Luo Feng first, and Luo Feng, in a fit of anger, challenged him. After all, he once defeated Gorin, and now he can't stand a defeated opponent pointing fingers and criticizing him. If it were you, could you tolerate it?"

"You have to tolerate it, even if you have the backbone, you need the strength to back it up. Attribute mana aura and non-attribute mana aura are completely different concepts. Luo Feng has no chance of winning."

"Luo Feng should have been very successful, but after breaking through to the mana aura stage, he found that his aura was non-attribute, and his mentality became unbalanced. He probably still thinks he should be among the strongest in the second year. He should accept reality; besides Gorin, more people will surpass him. It's really a pity, he was such a hardworking and rising talent from the basic class."

"Don't think so highly of Luo Feng. I heard he practiced a deviant cultivation method, which is why he advanced so quickly. But now the side effects have appeared. Why would the misfortune of having a non-attribute mana aura happen to him? This is not a coincidence!"

"..."

Before the battle began, the discussions among the crowd were already very heated, all centered around the grudge between Luo Feng and Gorin. It wasn't until the two main characters stepped onto the stage that the crowd fell silent.

Gorin's eyes sparkled with excitement; he had been waiting for this day for a long time.

Since being defeated by Luo Feng in the exchange match, his proud days had not been easy. He fantasized about the day he would repay the debt tenfold, trample Luo Feng underfoot, and nail him to the pillar of shame, never to rise again.

However, Gorin had not just broken through to the mana aura stage; he had been at this stage for some time. When he first advanced, he resisted the impulse to immediately challenge Luo Feng. Luo Feng seemed so confident when he issued the challenge, and Gorin, fearing a setback, waited until he was familiar with the use of mana aura and had learned some orange-rank combat techniques before challenging Luo Feng.

[Combat technique ranks: White, Blue, Orange, Red, Purple, Silver, Gold, Black. After reaching the mana aura stage, one can learn orange-rank combat techniques.]

"Luo Feng, come on, I can't wait any longer, not even a second!" Gorin activated his aura as he spoke.

It was indeed a mana aura, much thicker than the aura at the gale stage. Unlike Luo Feng, Gorin's mana aura emitted a metallic luster, sharp and cold, giving the impression of being extremely sharp and capable of cutting through hard objects. This was the characteristic form of a gold-attribute mana aura.

"Don't think you can beat me like last time. A mana aura and an attribute-awakened gale aura are completely different. I will use my gold-attribute mana aura to leave countless cuts on your body to make up for the pain I once suffered!" Gorin suddenly attacked, condensing his mana aura into a golden longsword that shot toward Luo Feng.

Orange-rank lowest-level combat technique—Flying Sword!

This was the change brought by the gold-attribute mana aura to the combat technique. The energy Gorin released could easily be weaponized, greatly increasing its lethality.

Luo Feng punched, his aura forming a nearly two-meter-long shockwave, extremely fierce, also an orange-rank lowest-level combat technique.

Combat techniques at the gale stage for long-range attacks were usually spherical, but those at the mana aura stage were segmented, clearly more powerful.

Luo Feng's shockwave was larger and longer than Gorin's flying sword. If the conditions were the same, Luo Feng's shockwave would undoubtedly be superior. However, Gorin's mana aura had the advantage of the gold attribute, and the flying sword cut through the shockwave, demonstrating the attribute's superiority.

However, Luo Feng also exerted force with his feet, and without bending his knees, his body shot out straight like an arrow.

Orange-rank lower-level combat technique—Arrow Step!

This was a high-level skill based on the spring step, but with a shorter release time and faster speed.

Moreover, as soon as Luo Feng landed, he changed his movement trajectory, returning in a V-shape.

V-shaped Arrow Step!

Luo Feng had mastered the V-shaped spring step and had a deep understanding of it, making it easy for him to learn the higher-level V-shaped Arrow Step. Gorin had anticipated this.

Luo Feng, are you trying to use the same trick again?

Gorin sneered inwardly. In the last exchange match, he lost the initiative after Luo Feng used the V-shaped spring step, which contributed to his eventual defeat. Therefore, he had specifically studied this difficult footwork.

Two golden flying swords stabbed simultaneously, attacking the empty space. However, Gorin believed that Luo Feng's next landing point would be there, as he had practiced with a V-shaped spring step partner and could make precise judgments.

However, Luo Feng's Arrow Step was not an ordinary one. A person called Instant Shadow Supreme had taught him extremely advanced footwork techniques.

By activating his mind technique and lowering his center of gravity, Luo Feng landed early in mid-air, turned in another direction, and dodged the two flying swords.

This kid has learned new tricks!

Gorin's shock had not yet subsided, as Luo Feng, after shooting out, once again returned in a V-shape.

Two V-shaped Arrow Steps, a more difficult combination technique, the W-shaped Sword Step!

Gorin's guess was correct. Luo Feng had now changed his Arrow Step twice, combining them into a W-shaped Spring Step.

After evading two waves of Gorin's attacks with a W-shaped Spring Step, Luo Feng had taken the initiative and moved to Gorin's left side, just like in the previous match.

The next move was indeed a foot technique, but not one based on the sweeping thousand armies technique. Luo Feng's kick was faster, more ruthless, and more cunning!

If Luo Feng had learned such a move back then, Gorin would have been swept down with one kick.

Fortunately, the current Gorin was not the same as the one from back then.

A golden tower shield appeared on his left arm, blocking his entire left side.

This defensive technique was more advanced in both power and range than the crescent moon shield he used in the exchange match.

"Clang!"

Luo Feng's kick on the tower shield produced a metallic sound.

The gold-attribute mana aura made the tower shield as hard as a real steel shield.

However, cracks soon appeared on the tower shield, and it shattered with a loud noise. Luo Feng's kick was a special combat technique, enhanced by the spirit nucleus, capable of piercing steel plates.

Gorin's face changed dramatically. He realized he had made a significant mistake in judging Luo Feng's strength.

The fact that he could break his tower shield indicated that Luo Feng's aura power was probably not much weaker than his own, which had the gold attribute.

A smile appeared on Luo Feng's lips. This was the source of his confidence.

Without considering attributes, his aura at the same level was definitely stronger than Gorin's, as proven in the last exchange match. Moreover, his aura was now one rank higher than Gorin's, and with the enhancement of the spirit nucleus, he could make up for the attribute deficiency.

If, in addition to the Six Thunder Techniques, ...

Thinking of this, Luo Feng began to attack fiercely, silently reciting in his mind.

Fourth technique, second technique, fifth technique, sixth technique, fifth technique, third technique...

The Six Thunder Techniques were an upgradable combat technique. After advancing to the mana aura stage, Luo Feng made some minor changes to the six techniques, making them orange-rank. Once unleashed, his attacks were terrifying, a dense and continuous barrage that immediately overwhelmed Gorin, who could only defend and had no chance to counterattack. Eventually, it seemed as if Luo Feng's shadow was everywhere, blinding Gorin.

Gorin was already in disarray, and Luo Feng knew it was time to end the battle.

After the first special technique, the third and fifth special techniques were simultaneously unleashed.

First technique followed by third and fifth techniques!

This method of combining multiple techniques after the first one was a more difficult and powerful combo in the Six Thunder Techniques.

The two techniques alone had already left Gorin in a panic. The third technique shattered the tower shield, and the fifth technique immediately landed on Gorin.

With a loud cry, Gorin was blasted away, falling to the ground, his blood and qi churning.

"Attributes are just an important part of a martial artist's abilities, but not everything. In other areas, you are far inferior to me!" Luo Feng glanced coldly at Gorin on the ground and walked off the stage.

The current Luo Feng was extremely confident. Besides his aura level, his practical experience and skills had matured under the training of Lucia, Joanna, Orlando, and other strong practitioners, making him a well-rounded martial artist.

The students of Class 2-8 cheered. Although they supported Luo Feng, they rationally believed that Gorin, with a gold-attribute mana aura, had a greater chance of winning. Luo Feng's ability to fight on equal terms with him was already honorable, but they never expected him to win so decisively, even more easily than in the exchange match.

"Haha, what do you have to say now, Class 2?"

"So what if he's non-attribute? He can still take all of you down. Look, our class president is so awesome!"

"Long live the class president! You are my idol, I love you!"

"..."

The boys of Class 2-8, who already respected Luo Feng, now idolized him even more. The girls of Class 2-8 screamed excitedly, almost shouting "I love you, class president" in unison.

Class 2, who had planned to mock Luo Feng and Class 2-8, was now disheartened and dared not speak, as they never expected the outcome of the battle to be like this.
