Chapter 4

Before the words had even finished, Zhang Hai had already taken action. In one step, he lunged forward, his palm slicing toward Luo Xiu’s chest with a fierce and powerful force.

Seeing Zhang Hai move so quickly, Luo Xiu’s face turned cold, and he raised his arms to block the attack.

“Peng!”

Luo Xiu felt a sharp pain in his arms from the powerful impact, forcing him to take a few steps back involuntarily.

"Truly worthy of being at the Seventh Level of Body Tempering. Your speed and strength are far superior to mine."

Luo Xiu steadied himself, his gaze serious. The internal energy he converted into vitality began to repair his life meridians, and the intense pain in his arms gradually subsided.

"Hmm? You didn’t fall down? As a commoner, you managed to injure my incompetent younger brother. It seems you do have some skills."

Zhang Hai frowned slightly. Not only was he at the Seventh Level of Body Tempering, but he had also mastered a Third-Class martial technique. He was somewhat surprised that he couldn’t knock Luo Xiu down with one move.

Of course, it was just a bit of surprise. Zhang Hai had absolute confidence in his own strength. With a cold snort, he attacked again, using the Iron Eagle Claw technique to grab at Luo Xiu’s neck.

The Iron Eagle Claw, a Third-Class martial technique, was executed by Zhang Hai with a completely different effect compared to when Zhang Hao used it. The fierce wind and speed were overwhelming.

"Stop right there!"

At this moment, a loud voice suddenly rang out.

Hearing this voice, Zhang Hai immediately stopped, looking over to see a woman with a curvaceous figure and wearing a tight white martial uniform walking over, her face cold.

"Teacher Lu."

The surrounding students of the Martial Hall all bowed to her.

This woman was named Lu Mengyao, one of the instructors at the Qingyun City Martial Hall, and a true martial artist who had reached the Qi Sea Realm!

With her well-endowed figure, long legs, exquisite and beautiful face, formidable strength, and high talent, Lu Mengyao was extremely popular in the Qingyun City Martial Hall.

In front of the instructor, Zhang Hai didn’t dare to act rashly, so he didn’t continue to attack Luo Xiu.

"Teacher Lu." Both Zhang Hai and Luo Xiu bowed simultaneously.

"You are Zhang Hai, right? As a Seventh Level Body Tempering martial disciple in the intermediate class, you come to the beginner class to show off your strength and bully the weak. Is this what a martial practitioner should do?" Lu Mengyao snorted coldly, frowning.

"Teacher Lu, you misunderstood. This Luo Xiu injured my younger brother. As an older brother, I naturally have to seek justice." Zhang Hai said with righteous indignation.

Lu Mengyao glanced at Luo Xiu. She had never paid much attention to this student who had been unknown for three years and had shown no outstanding performance.

The Martial Hall usually turned a blind eye to conflicts among students, as it was a form of natural selection.

However, Luo Xiu’s victory over Zhang Hao, a strong student in the beginner class, a few days ago, had surprised her.

"Fourth Level Body Tempering?"

Lu Mengyao noticed the internal energy fluctuations in Luo Xiu. She clearly remembered that this student was only at the Second Level a few days ago.

She was slightly startled, "Could it be that he has been accumulating strength and has now unleashed his potential?"

Some people have great martial talent but initially don’t know how to utilize it, so it doesn’t show. However, as time passes, this talent will eventually manifest, and their strength will rapidly increase.

She thought Luo Xiu might be one of these people. If he was a good seed, he could be well-cultivated.

Compared to the young nobles from prestigious families, Lu Mengyao valued ordinary people from humble backgrounds more. They were willing to work several times harder to stand out, a determination and perseverance that the pampered young nobles couldn’t match.

Being stared at by Lu Mengyao, Luo Xiu felt uncomfortable. As a low-profile commoner student, this was the first time he had been noticed by an instructor.

"Student conflicts, in theory, should not be interfered with by instructors." Lu Mengyao
