Chapter 3 - The Scent of a Curse

It was not unusual for guests to visit Lloyd’s room in the middle of the night.

Lloyd breathed a sigh of relief as he shut off the argumentative Ryun.

In bed, Alto was peeking at him with worried eyes….

Alto barked.

Alto roughly wiped his face on his arms and stood up.

“I’m going home.”

Lloyd hurriedly pulled Alto who was heading out for the door as he put on his robe.

“No! Don’t leave!”

“Get out of my way!”

Lloyd struggled to lay down Alto, who yelled at him in frustration.

“Don’t do it. Librarian-san, this is serious trouble.”

“I won’t do anything Librarian-san doesn’t like. It’s only a way to break the curse.”

Lloyd inwardly scanned Alto, who nodded at him innocently.

“Of course!”

Lloyd agreed and took Alto by the shoulders while inviting him to bed.
