"Hey! Beautiful lady, my name is Levi, and I'm a two-star hunter. May I ask for your esteemed name?" Levi, grinning, walked up to Catherine with White Fur and, while chatting her up, took out a shiny badge.

As Wenlong had guessed, the badge had one gold star and one bronze star, indicating that Levi had just reached the level of a low-tier two-star hunter. Although Wenlong didn't think much of a hunter of this caliber, in the Mirard Village, where beginners gathered, a two-star hunter was definitely an enviable existence.

Catherine didn't say anything; she just silently looked at him. This was partly because Catherine didn't know what to say, and also because Wenlong hadn't given her any instructions.

Seeing that Catherine wasn't speaking, Levi continued, "Did you take down these four wild boars? Although you're still quite far behind me, for a female hunter, your skills are pretty good... If you practice more, you should be able to improve a lot more..."

As he spoke, Levi took another step closer to Catherine, "Beautiful lady... Why don't you come to my manor tonight? We can discuss hunting experiences together, okay?"

"Damn! How dare you be disrespectful to my master! Are you tired of living? Meow!"

Seeing Levi almost reaching Catherine's face, Wenlong suddenly roared, startling Levi.

"You... Where did you come from, stray cat?"

"Hmph, with your two-star hunter level, you think you can teach my master hunting? Do you know that my master is a legendary hunter who can hunt the幻兽麒麟 (Phantom Kylin)? Meow!"

Wenlong said with a righteous tone.

"Kylin? You mean the Phantom Kylin that only exists in the deep forests of the Eastern Hyred Kingdom?"

When he heard the word "Kylin," Levi was almost shocked.

Although Levi had never seen a Kylin and didn't know that Catherine was wearing a Kylin suit, he had at least heard the name.

The legendary Phantom Kylin, capable of manipulating lightning, elegant, noble, and extremely powerful... but it didn't exist in the Western Hyred Kingdom...

"That's the Kylin. What other Kylin do you think there is?" Wenlong mocked.

"Haha, what a joke! The Kylin is something that only exists in history books. We don't even know if it really exists now, and even if it does, it's only in the Eastern Hyred Kingdom. How could it appear in our Western Hyred Kingdom? Meow!"

Seeing that his master was actually scared by Wenlong, White Fur immediately brought up the knowledge about the Kylin he had read in the library.

"Ah, right, where would we get a Kylin in the Western Hyred Kingdom? You should think before you lie!"

"Still don't believe me? Hmph, the suit my master is wearing is made from Kylin materials, the Kylin suit. If you don't believe me, you can check the records in the Royal Library about the Kylin suit. You'll see that I'm not lying! Meow!"

Wenlong knew that one way to make a lie more believable was to mix it with the truth. For example, now, Catherine was indeed wearing a genuine Kylin suit. Using this, Wenlong could make his lie more convincing.

For a moment, even White Fur hesitated when he saw how confident Wenlong was.

Neither White Fur nor his master, Levi, had seen the Kylin suit, but since the other party dared to challenge them to check the records in the Royal Library, that confidence didn't seem like a lie. Moreover, the equipment Catherine was wearing didn't look like ordinary gear. Even if they didn't recognize the style, the material and craftsmanship were clearly not something a common craftsman could produce.

Although Levi and White Fur didn't fully believe Wenlong, they were intimidated by him, and their previously frivolous expressions became more restrained.

"Since this lady is a veteran hunter capable of hunting the Kylin, why are you hunting wild boars in the Dawnwind Valley, where beginners gather?" Levi asked with a questioning tone, perhaps to test Catherine.

Wenlong had anticipated this question, so as Levi asked, Wenlong used his tail to write the answer on Catherine's back.

"I didn't come here to hunt; I just wanted to test my partner's strength..." Catherine answered according to Wenlong's instructions.

"Exactly!" Wenlong quickly took over before the other party could react. Wenlong knew that the more Catherine spoke, the more likely she was to slip up. It was safer to keep the initiative in his hands. "Do you think my master came here just to hunt wild boars? What a joke! It's just four wild boars; my partner, an Ailu cat, could handle them! Meow!"

"One Ailu cat defeated four wild boars?"

Levi stared at Wenlong with disbelief, then shifted his gaze to White Fur. It was as if he was saying, "We're both Ailu cats, so why is there such a big difference?"

Levi, being White Fur's partner, knew White Fur's capabilities well. During hunts, White Fur mostly provided support. If he hunted alone, he could handle one wild boar at most, but hunting four wild boars at once was absolutely impossible.

Seeing his master's gaze, White Fur could only respond with a helpless expression, "That's impossible. I don't believe an Ailu cat without equipment could hunt four wild boars... It must have been this hunter lady who did it, meow!"

"I told you, this level of prey doesn't require my master to act," Wenlong said, willing to belittle himself to portray Catherine as a top hunter. "My master uses a greatsword. Look at the boars on the ground; do their wounds look like they were caused by a greatsword?"

Wenlong's words reminded Levi and White Fur. Upon closer inspection, they realized that the wounds on the wild boars didn't look like they were caused by a greatsword but rather by the claws of an Ailu cat. This dispelled their doubts.

"Wounds from a greatsword, a heavy weapon, would be wider and not just cut through the skin but also the bones, making them easily identifiable. White Fur and his master are experienced hunters and wouldn't fail to recognize such a clear sign... With such obvious evidence, they naturally wouldn't doubt what I said, meow!"

All of this was within Wenlong's expectations.
