"Go to hell, West Sea Dogs!"

The slave with blood on his hands had forgotten fear. Under their encirclement, many seemingly powerful gladiators had fallen in the yellow sand. The slaves, now brimming with confidence, saw the approaching ten-man squad and spontaneously charged forward, as if the squad was made of paper, easily penetrable.

"Foolish East Sea pigs."

Lacray laughed inside his helmet, easily deflecting the incoming spear with his longsword. With a swift slash, he cut the neck artery of the slave who had lost his balance. The slave only managed a scream before collapsing to the ground, clutching his neck. His companions were fearless but tragic; the thirteen who charged forward didn't even touch the squad members before being pierced, beheaded, or impaled.

"Ha ha ha ha, foolish East Sea pig heads!"

The audience in the stands burst into laughter. Facing elite gladiators, the slaves who had been so confident moments ago returned to their true selves. The citizens, who had expected a dramatic reversal, sat back in their seats, somewhat disheartened. The beasts resumed their lewd acts, thrusting into the buttocks of their women in broad daylight, continuing their public erotic performances.

"779, what do we do?"

The remaining slaves, seeing the approaching ten-man squad, huddled around Sun Zhaojin. Sun Zhaojin was also feeling a bit numb. These were the so-called elite gladiators? How could they be so strong, leaving no chance for retaliation? But the leader of the freedom fighters wouldn't just sit and wait to die. He shouted:

"Go, head that way!"

The remaining armed slaves, led by Sun Zhaojin, fled eastward. There, some gladiators were "taking care of business." Whether dead or alive, the women of Lakras were considered premium "food" for these gladiators, who lived ascetic lives. After slaughtering the men who dared not or could not resist, the remaining women were dragged to the side, where the gladiators thrust their tools into their bodies, enjoying rare moments of pleasure.

(Are these women here to find grass?)

Suli crossed off the names of these women one by one, feeling speechless. This was supposed to be a war film, not an erotic one. Yet, some shameless women tried to gain attention by being sexually exploited, taking up many test spots. They looked so weak and ready to be picked, and she couldn't understand how such a major flaw could exist in the grand film.

If the founder of the grand film, Quentin Spielberg, were here, he would patiently explain to the young girl about market orientation and how credit points determine fate. After all, people spent credit points to participate in the test, and it wouldn't be fair to deny them the chance to earn money just because they came for the "grass."

However, these test actors who came in and did nothing but wait to be "grassed" left Suli speechless. If you want to be "grassed," go to the erotic film tests. The characters and plots there are fierce and exciting, with no risk to life, and some are even romantic. Why squeeze into this brutal, deadly film to seek punishment?

"This Lakras man is mine; the rest is up to you."

Lacray gestured to his gladiators, his two longswords drawing a half-circle in the air. He approached Zhang Huen, muttering to himself. As Sun Zhaojin and the others fled, Zhang Huen remained, fully alert, watching the approaching elite gladiator.

This slave intrigued Lacray. Unlike the others who fled or gave up, this one looked calm, even wiping the blood from his mouth with a fierce expression. He must have been a brave warrior who had seen battle and killed before.

It wasn't that Zhang Huen didn't want to run, but the man in front of him had already locked onto him. The character's profile also made him abandon any thoughts of escape.

"Lacray—Character (Cennats Territory Andepias Gladiatorial Training Camp—Elite Gladiator)

Status: Healthy (Buff: Swift)

Difficulty: Extremely Difficult

Reward: Significant Strength Increase

Effect: Certain Probability of Triggering Judgment (Failure)

100% Trigger Judgment (Success)."

From Lacray's Swift buff, Zhang Huen recalled the "high-level" characters he had encountered in "The Great Jianghu." Exposing your back to a high-level character was a death sentence. Moreover, Zhang Huen didn't want to continue wasting time. He believed his performance had earned him a high score in the observer's eyes, and he should have secured a temporary contract. Instead of wasting more credit points in this test film, he wanted to exit early and test his new, strange ability—using his main consciousness to mix with his subconscious.

But he wouldn't just sit and wait to die. Since it was a performance, he would play it to the fullest. He held his short sword in front of his left shield, bowed to Lacray, and said:

"I, a Lakras man, challenge you."

"Very well, Lakras man. It seems you understand the honor of a gladiator. I am Lacray, a slave gladiator, and I will show you equal respect."

To show respect for the gladiatorial code and his opponent, Lacray crossed his swords and bowed. This small gesture immediately caught the attention of the audience on the south side. Suli, drawn back by their cheers, mentally sentenced Zhang Huen to death, but added "fearless and extremely crazy" to his evaluation.

"Honor!"

Lacray shouted, charging at Zhang Huen like a cannonball. Zhang Huen blocked Lacray's slash with his round shield, the massive recoil nearly making him drop it. Just as he recovered from the numbness in his arm, Lacray's left sword struck the shield again. The advantage of a dual-sword gladiator was their agility and rapid, relentless attacks. Under Lacray's continuous slashes, Zhang Huen suddenly threw away his shield and charged straight into Lacray's arms.

"Thud!"

The longsword pierced through his abdomen. Lacray, triumphant, looked at the shocked Zhang Huen. But Zhang Huen, despite the sword piercing his intestines, pushed forward, forcing the blade deeper, bringing out chunks of flesh and organs. Lacray tried to pull out his sword, but Zhang Huen's hand clamped onto his arm, his fingers like steel, digging into his flesh and bone.

"Die!"

Sweat mixed with Lacray's roar splattered on Zhang Huen's grim face. Lacray's left sword pierced through Zhang Huen's collarbone, while Zhang Huen's short sword found its way through the gap in Lacray's armor.

Two men, both facing certain death, used their last ounce of strength to shout their final battle cries:

"For the honor of the gladiators!"

"For the Lakras people!"

"Thud! Thud!"

The two bloodied men fell together on the gladiatorial arena, bringing a moment of silence.

Sun Zhaojin and his defiant slaves had been annihilated. The entire audience's attention was drawn to Lacray and Zhang Huen's cries. Andepias, unable to maintain his composure, clutched the edge of the stands, watching the two men in the blood pool. He couldn't believe Lacray, his elite, his ace, the most promising candidate to become a war god, the ace he planned to reveal at the hunting festival, could die at the hands of a Lakras slave.

As the audience watched in stunned silence, the "bodies" twitched. The man with swords in his shoulder and abdomen rolled onto the sand, spitting out blood in large gulps, causing a wave of shock among the audience:

"It's a Lakras man, he killed Lacray!"

"By the gods, did the ancestors of Lakras manifest? Can a Lakras man kill a potential war god?"

More of the audience, realizing what had happened, raised their right arms, giving a thumbs up:

"Live! Live! Live!"

Yes, they chose to let this miraculous slave live. The other gladiators, moved by the atmosphere, didn't deliver the final blow. Instead, they looked to the magistrate in the stands.

Usually, if the majority chose to let him live, the magistrate would be happy to grant the favor. But Andepias, enraged, promised great rewards to the magistrate to have the slave executed.

Just as the magistrate was about to make the final judgment, an intense light spread from the sky, blurring everything. A large golden "THE END" sign appeared in the arena.
