"Wow, my paper airplane skills are really good. This one flew so far, it must have gone forty yards."

"Yeah, you should go into airplane manufacturing; you'd probably be good at it."

"Making airplanes and filming movies, Howard Hughes? Haha, he's my idol!"

"But I don't like hearing that, you jerk."

"He's really great, and so are his girlfriends."

"Go to hell!"

In the park, on the hillside covered with trees, Ye Wei and Lily were picking up the paper airplanes while chatting and laughing. Hundreds of paper airplanes were scattered everywhere. Each time they picked one up, they unfolded it into a crumpled sheet of paper and put it back in the suitcase. With each additional sheet, they felt a bit more of their lost hope returning, and the beautiful dream continued.

At this moment, Lily picked up another one from the grass and handed it to him, smiling gently, "Captain, the plane has landed safely!"

"First Officer, how long have I been asleep?" Ye Wei said with a smile, taking it and holding her hand. Suddenly, he felt a surge of gratitude and said, "Thank you, Lily. You've given me a lot of strength. Otherwise, I would probably just be sitting there throwing garbage. You inspired me, thank you!"

"No, these aren't garbage," Lily lifted the paper airplane and pecked his nose, "These are worth a million."

"Only a million?" Ye Wei laughed and shrugged, already regaining his confidence, "That bad cop doesn't know how to appreciate it. There will be good cops who do. I believe in this world, there are still real good cops. Maybe they walk the gray line, but they have a heart for justice."

Lily nodded, "Absolutely, like me."

"OK Officer, I have a strange story to tell you. Don't tell anyone else yet, let's see if we can solve it."

Ye Wei was very serious. After she agreed with a puzzled look, he told her about the mysterious letter from yesterday and concluded, "That letter made me more alert. Who is warning me? Why?"

"Really?" Lily's face was full of surprise. This was indeed a strange story. She thought for a moment, "That person must be an insider..."

It seemed like a trivial statement, but Ye Wei understood her meaning. Insiders were few. He pondered and said, "It can't be Willis and his team. They dream about how to cheat me out of my project. The mysterious big director? If he were that kind, he wouldn't have agreed to direct. Who else?"

"Or... Focus?" Lily could only think of this, but it was even less likely that Focus would leak information! They were the initiators of the conspiracy!

So Ye Wei just shrugged, "Maybe."

Lily made another guess, "Could it be an outsider, someone who accidentally leaked the information to a good person?"

"That's possible..." Ye Wei nodded, then shook his head, "But I don't think it's likely. They're all old foxes; they wouldn't make such a low-level mistake... Just look at the media; there's not a single piece of news about that bad guy's dinner. That shows how well they keep secrets."

The two brainstormed for a while, but there were no real clues, so they stopped guessing. Maybe the answer would come out of nowhere, or maybe it would always be a mystery.

Regardless, Ye Wei was really grateful to the mysterious person, even if they had ulterior motives. They had helped, hadn't they?

As dusk approached, they left the park. All the paper airplanes were picked up, except for the sketch of Willis, which had been thrown into the trash.

Lily never asked Ye Wei what his next plan was. She didn't think it was the right time to discuss it, and she believed he would have a plan.

When they parted, Ye Wei brought it up on his own, almost as if making a vow, "I won't give up. The 'Little Miss Sunshine' project will definitely become a professional film, and the names of the producer and director on the screen will be Ye Wei! When that happens, the Willis team will regret it. I haven't fully figured out how to do it yet, but believe me, life always finds a way, and no one can stop it!"

...

When Lily returned home with a mix of emotions, it was only a little past six. Her mother hadn't come back yet. There were no activities at the club today, but she usually came home very late.

What to do? How can I help Wei?

Lily took a few packs of cookies from the kitchen, returned to the living room sofa, and sat down, eating while thinking. She thought there were two main issues:

One was whether the Willis team would continue to harass Wei, or even seek revenge.

The other was how to secure funding for the project with Wei as the producer and director, to start production.

After thinking for a while, Lily took out her phone and called Lamor to ask about the latest situation.

As soon as the call connected, she heard Lamor's loud laughter, "Hahaha, I was just about to call you. What did Wei do!? That old man is furious!" She quickly asked, "What happened?" Lamor laughed, "He called me, telling me not to have any more contact with your boyfriend. He said he never wants to hear that name again, never wants to see that kid. He's furious! Haha!"

"Oh..." Lily remembered the scene and laughed, telling Lamor about Wei's response.

"He said that? No wonder. Haha, I wouldn't be surprised if the old man ends up in the hospital! He's such a face-conscious person. You know, when he performs on set, two teams follow him. One team follows the camera, and if the lighting makes his bald head too noticeable, they call for an immediate stop. The other team of writers is responsible for adjusting his lines and emotional delivery, and making sure he doesn't stutter! For Wei to talk to him like that, wow, I'm high!"

Lamor was very pleased, "I'm his daughter, but this time I can't help him. It's embarrassing! I'm ashamed of him!"

Lily frowned, a bit worried, "Lamor, I want to ask you, does your dad have any... intentions of revenge? Or the possibility?"

"Not really? The old man isn't that bad, and the project is still in Wei's hands. As long as he doesn't sign, no one can do anything."

"That's true, but I'm worried they might have some other tricks..."

Lamor thought for a moment and said more confidently, "My dad is face-conscious, temperamental, and impulsive, but he's also very loyal... I don't think he would be that bad... The ones to worry about are his friends, especially Richard Lowitt. If you ask if that guy would seek revenge, I believe he would."

"Your dad's agent?" Lily remembered Wei mentioning him, her brows furrowing even more.

"And the agent for many others, a CAA guy. Every time I see him, he smiles and acts nice, which is disgusting." Lamor sighed, her tone listless, "My dad has been corrupted by him, and by Arnold Reifkind, who just flatters and schemes, thinking of ways to steal that old fool's money... It's a mess."

"Will they seek revenge?"

"Nine out of ten, they're not easy to deal with. Whether they want the project or to teach your boyfriend a lesson, they'll probably do something."

"Will your dad stop them?"

"I don't know. The old man is like a senile king surrounded by court jesters. I can't change his mind. If I bring it up, he might even punish Wei, thinking he used me. Sorry, I can't help you."

"Oh, it's okay..."

They chatted for a while longer, then ended the call. Lily thought for a moment, flipping through her phone's contact list, back and forth, for a long time. Suddenly, she bit her lip, made up her mind, and called someone.

"Hi, Dad."

...

"That kid is asking for it, so don't blame us for giving him a little lesson. If he ruins our chances, he won't have any chances either, hehehe."

"Bruce says we don't need to do much to him, just let him be."

"Do much? This isn't doing much, this is education, a lesson from Richard Lowitt."

...

"Angel's Dance? Ye Wei? What's this?"

A thick hand held a DVD, and a kind, middle-aged face showed confusion. Who gave this to him?

Willis's eldest daughter? He remembered. During the Christmas holiday in Las Vegas, he met the Willis family, and Lamor-Willis secretly gave him this DVD, saying it was a short film by a talented young man looking for an opportunity, and asked him to watch it when he had time.

He was too busy and put it aside, almost forgetting about it. Tonight, at home with some free time, he decided to organize his DVDs and remembered it.

He became interested. He had promised to watch it, so he couldn't not. He took the DVD to the projector next to him.
