8 The street lined with bars seemed unusually deserted during the day, with only a few cats and dogs wandering around. There was hardly any human or vehicular traffic, a stark contrast to the bustling nights.
Yang Chen pushed open the door of the Rose Bar and greeted the bartender Xiao Zhao, who was dozing off at the entrance, before walking down the corridor to the back of the bar.
Some of the waiters in the bar saw Yang Chen enter but did not stop him, instead greeting him respectfully, clearly aware of his special relationship with Rose.
The corridor at the back of the bar was unusually long, stretching over fifty meters. At the end, two tall men in suits stood guarding a beautifully carved wooden door, which was about three meters away from them. Upon seeing Yang Chen, they immediately bowed in unison and gestured to invite him in.
Yang Chen nodded, walked forward, and pushed open the carved wooden door. Inside, he was greeted by a natural fragrance, with a hint of lavender.
This was an unusually large room, with polished brown wooden floors and black marble walls. In the center stood a large leather sofa, about seven feet wide. The coffee-colored decor gave the room a slightly dim and enchanting atmosphere, exuding a subtle elegance. One side of the room was separated by a glass door, beyond which was an outdoor swimming pool and a small garden.
It was hard to imagine that behind the noisy bar lay such a tranquil haven—this was Rose’s “home.”
As soon as he stepped inside, Yang Chen suddenly felt a chill. Without hesitation, he raised his right hand to block!
“Whoosh!” A sharp sound sliced through the air as a pale hand holding a sharp, cold dagger appeared just three inches from Yang Chen’s face, but it was perfectly blocked!
The attacker, realizing the dagger was blocked, quickly rotated it in her hand, almost in a fluid motion, and thrust it toward Yang Chen’s ribs again!
Yang Chen, without a trace of panic, gently grasped the smooth arm and applied a slight force outward, preventing the hand holding the dagger from getting any closer to his body.
Seeing that her strength was no match, the attacker kicked Yang Chen’s lower back, but Yang Chen, as if seeing through her every move, shifted the arm holding the dagger downward!
Before the kick was fully raised, the dagger had already become a barrier, blocking her path…
“Not playing anymore!”
Rose pouted, her rosy lips pursed, and threw the dagger to the ground, “You always do this. I don’t know how you, a younger man, can be so abnormally skilled!”
Yang Chen released Rose’s smooth, creamy arm, the delicate touch lingering in his mind. He turned around with a half-smile and said, “Not bad, a bit faster than a month ago. You’ve made great progress.”
“But I’m still no match for you…” Rose shot Yang Chen a glare and gracefully sat down on the large sofa. Since she was in her room, Rose was dressed casually in a white-laced silk nightgown that loosely covered her alluring, seductive body. The V-neck of the gown was stretched high by her ample bosom, revealing a black lace bra that barely contained her large, soft breasts. The nightgown was unusually short, barely covering her round, firm buttocks, and her white, smooth thighs were exposed, gleaming with an ivory-like luster.
Yang Chen’s gaze involuntarily drifted to the gap between Rose’s thighs, where the alluring sight of black lace panties was faintly visible, with a few strands of black hair peeking through…
Rose’s eyes sparkled with a hint of satisfaction. Although for certain reasons, this man she adored had always kept his distance, it was clear that he had no resistance to her body. Feeling secretly pleased, she threw him a seductive glance, her eyes so watery they could steal a man’s soul.
“Yang Chen… am I beautiful…”
“Beautiful…” Yang Chen swallowed, feeling his little brother already standing tall and proud. Was this woman sent from hell? Wasn’t it said that only devils had such a figure?
“Do you want to touch…” Rose blinked, slowly pulling down the collar of her nightgown to expose her white, tender skin, and slightly parted her legs, making the alluring view at the root of her thighs more visible.
Yang Chen felt a mix of emotions. His wife Lin Ruoxi was also breathtakingly beautiful, but the Rose before him, though slightly less stunning, was still a top-tier beauty. Her seductive charm and well-developed figure were like a ripe peach. At this moment, Rose was like a red rose exuding a sweet fragrance, making him dizzy.
Yang Chen slowly approached Rose, stopping in front of her and leaning down to look directly into her alluring eyes. He suddenly smiled mischievously, “Sister Rose, I really want to touch, but if I do, will you chop off my hand with your dagger?”
“Can I?” Rose’s breath was like a fragrant breeze.
“You’re too seductive, I’m all weak in the knees. I might really lose my strength.”
“Do you want to try?” Rose’s tongue flicked her cherry lips, her voice soft and alluring.
Yang Chen inhaled the sweet, musky scent emanating from Rose, his gaze clear, “Is there anything you need me to do?”
As soon as he spoke, the passionate light in Rose’s beautiful eyes faded, replaced by disappointment, despair, pain, and anger—a mix of emotions that made her suddenly laugh bitterly, “Hehe, Yang Chen, so this is how you see me…”
“How do I see you?” Yang Chen smiled playfully.
“Do you think I’ve been trying to seduce you into bed to use your strength to achieve my goals?” Rose asked without reservation.
“Indeed, your strength is terrifying. I’ve never met anyone who can make me feel invincible like you…” Rose said, pulling up her collar to cover her exposed skin, and looked at Yang Chen, speaking softly, “Similarly, I need you. My Red Thorn Gang and my father’s West Alliance Gang are the two major gangs in the West District, but my Red Thorn Gang is too young. If we really come to a full-scale conflict, the West Alliance Gang might lose some people, but our Red Thorn Gang will be completely annihilated…”
At this point, a cold expression appeared on Rose’s seductive face, “Yang Chen, do you remember the night we first met… that night, I was ambushed, and everyone around me was killed. I was fleeing alone in the streets…”
Yang Chen listened quietly, nodding slightly, and the scene from that night gradually came back to him…
