【Home Assistant: You opened the 'Fate Magic Box' and were cursed by the怨气 inside!】

【Home Assistant: You have entered the Blind (Magic Box) state!】

【Blind (Magic Box): Cursed by the Fate Magic Box, your vision will be limited to 50 yards, and your attack accuracy will decrease by 30%! You cannot continue to open the Fate Magic Box until this state is removed!】

The Fate Magic Box, known for cursing whoever opens it, predictably cursed Chen Bing.

Entering the game with this state would put him at a significant disadvantage from the start.

Again!

【Time Reversal!】

Without wasting any time, Chen Bing reversed time the moment he saw the Home Assistant's notification.

【Home Assistant: You opened the 'Fate Magic Box' and were cursed by the怨气 inside!】

【Home Assistant: You have entered the Weak (Magic Box) state!】

【Home Assistant: You have entered the Slowed (Magic Box) state!】

...

Chen Bing started frantically opening the Fate Magic Box, hoping to get something valuable.

One by one, powerful negative effects fell upon him. If it weren't for the time reversal, Chen Bing would have been covered in a rainbow of negative status effects long ago.

Several minutes passed in the blink of an eye, and Chen Bing finally realized just how much the Fate Magic Box could screw you over.

He could open the Fate Magic Box over twenty times a minute, but after five minutes, he mostly got various curses. Only a couple of times did he get ordinary equipment or minor blessings.

As for the legendary rare equipment, items, and skills, there wasn't even a trace.

The odds were not just bad; they were terrible. However, Chen Bing had nothing else to bet on, so he could only keep trying with the Fate Magic Box.

With over forty minutes left, he didn't believe he wouldn't get something valuable!

However, as he kept opening, Chen Bing gradually lost confidence.

Compared to hatching a Slime pet egg, the odds of the Fate Magic Box were much lower.

The Slime pet had a role in introducing new players to various pets, so even though the odds were low, there was still hope.

Even if he got something valuable, it would only be useful in the early stages. The 30-level cap greatly reduced the value of Slime pets.

The Fate Magic Box was different.

The Fate Magic Box contained over ten special items that could only be obtained from it. Once you got one, it was like getting ultimate equipment in traditional games.

And the items could be traded, which made the odds even more brutal.

On game forums, players had already analyzed that the Fate Magic Box was designed for high-level players.

For high-level players, 1000 Home Points were a drop in the bucket. Entering the game with a negative status wouldn't set them back too much, and they could afford to open the Fate Magic Box even if they had bad luck.

Even if a large number of high-level players collectively opened the Fate Magic Box, the odds of getting something valuable were still incredibly low. Chen Bing checked several popular game forums and saw very few people who had gotten anything valuable from the Fate Magic Box.

So, even if Chen Bing kept using time reversal, getting only junk was normal.

...

【Home Assistant: You opened the 'Fate Magic Box' and obtained the 'Home Building Upgrade Scroll I'!】

【Item: Home Building Upgrade Scroll】

【Type: Scroll, Non-Tradable】

【Quality: Rare】

【Level: I】

【Can it be brought to the Home: Yes】

【Purpose: Can unconditionally upgrade any Level 1 building in your home to Level 2】

【Note: The scroll is valid for 3 days and will disappear after expiration. Please use it within the validity period!】

After another ten minutes, with 32 minutes of infinite energy left, Chen Bing finally got a special scroll.

A Home Building Upgrade Scroll!

"Home Building Upgrade Scroll? This is a good thing!"

Chen Bing's eyes lit up.

Although it was just the lowest-level Home Building Upgrade Scroll, with a rare quality, it could only be used to upgrade Level 1 buildings.

But that didn't mean it was low in value.

All buildings in the Home Ruins could be upgraded, and the conditions for upgrading different buildings varied.

For example, the conditions for upgrading the Home Store, Home Teleportation Array, and Slime Factory from Level 1 to Level 2 were all different.

Home Store Level 1 to Level 2 upgrade conditions:

- Spend 300,000 Home Silver Coins in the store

- Spend 20,000 Home Points in the store

- Manually refresh the store items 20 times

- After upgrading to Level 2, the number of random items in the store increases from 5 to 8, and the chance of getting a valuable item increases by 1%.

Home Teleportation Array Level 1 to Level 2 upgrade conditions:

- Enter the game 'Teleportation World I' and rank in the top 70% at the end of the game.

- After upgrading, players can enter more types and higher-level game worlds.

For the Slime Factory, upgrading from Level 1 to Level 2 requires 10,000 Home Points, 50,000 Home Silver Coins, and 10 Slime Cores.

These were relatively easy to upgrade, but some rare and high-level buildings, even at Level 1, had very strict upgrade conditions.

Chen Bing remembered that one of the upgrade conditions for the Level 1 Life Spring was to use 'Tears of the Life Goddess'.

In such a situation, the value of the Home Building Upgrade Scroll increased infinitely.

Because of this, the Home Building Upgrade Scroll was non-tradable and had a time limit, making it impossible to stockpile.

Getting a Home Building Upgrade Scroll was already quite lucky for Chen Bing. After a moment's thought, he decided to keep the scroll and stop opening the Fate Magic Box.

It took him nearly twenty minutes to get one Home Building Upgrade Scroll, and with only thirty minutes left, he had no confidence in getting something even more valuable.

However, this was a secondary reason.

He kept the Home Building Upgrade Scroll because he had other plans.

He wanted to use the upgrade scroll to boost the Slime Factory!

The changes after upgrading the Home Store and Home Teleportation Array were fixed, but the Slime Factory was different.

Upgrading the Slime Factory would randomly enhance its functions and attributes.

Many players thought the Slime Factory wasn't very useful, but they still upgraded it.

First, upgrading a home building could randomly grant a percentage boost to a certain attribute. Some special buildings could even gain unique passive abilities. These attribute boosts were passive and could be carried into all games. The higher the level of the home building, the stronger the attribute boost.

Second, upgrading the Slime Factory could potentially unlock the 'Fusion Slime' function.

The Slime Factory could use the 'Fusion Slime' function to obtain new types of Slime workers, significantly improving labor and production efficiency. Additionally, players could gain an extra pet slot.

This was the easiest pet slot to obtain. As long as their luck wasn't too bad, upgrading a few times would unlock it.

However, compared to getting an extra pet slot, other players valued the attribute boosts from upgrading home buildings more.

For most people, pet slots weren't a problem. Valuable pets were harder to obtain, and without valuable pets, having more pet slots was meaningless.

Chen Bing could use time reversal to get the desired attribute boosts, but upgrading from Level 1 to Level 2 only granted a fixed 2% attribute boost, which wasn't worth the effort.

What Chen Bing wanted was the 'Fusion Slime' function!

For him, unlocking the 'Fusion Slime' function was more than just getting an extra pet slot.

After unlocking the 'Fusion Slime' function, players could also fuse their Slime pets!

Pet fusion had a chance of failure, but if successful, the main pet could randomly gain one to several attributes and skills from the secondary pet. Each successful fusion increased the pet's level cap by 10 levels.

Each pet could fuse up to ten times. If the fusion failed, the main pet wouldn't lose anything, but the secondary pet would disappear. Therefore, most players wouldn't easily fuse pets to avoid wasting fusion attempts.

Slimes were the easiest pets to fuse in the Home game. Once the 'Fusion Slime' function was unlocked, fusions could be performed freely.

Because fusions were easy and had no conditions, the success rate was very low.

But with the time reversal skill, if Chen Bing had a bit of luck, he could fuse a super-valuable Slime!

Thinking about the Platinum-quality Hero Slime in his pet slot, Chen Bing was already eager.

During the pet fusion process, there was also a chance of a mutation fusion.

Mutation fusion could significantly boost the pet's attributes and even improve its quality.

If the fusion mutated successfully, the Hero Slime could become a Legendary-quality super-valuable pet!
