Chapter 53

Today is the last day of this trip, and there's still plenty of time before the flight.

Lin Fei and his two companions decided to spend some time at the beach. Lin Fei, wearing sunglasses, lay on a chair, watching the tourists coming and going on the sand.

Due to the bonfire dinner last night, there were more tourists today than in the past few days.

Time passed, bit by bit.

The originally clear sky suddenly turned gloomy.

The calm sea suddenly started to churn with strong winds, and the waves surged continuously. The tourists playing on the beach looked in horror at the distant sky.

A dark cloud suddenly appeared on the horizon, and flashes of light kept appearing beneath it.

"Look, what's that?" a tourist exclaimed.

Dozens of massive creatures flew in from the distant sky.

Accompanied by roars, they came closer and closer.

Someone observed with a telescope and shouted in fear, "They're dragons, the giant dragons from Western movies."

These creatures flying towards the beach had strong bodies, long and thick necks, horns on their heads, sharp teeth bared from their open mouths, and long tails swaying behind them. They had large wings like those of bats, allowing them to fly swiftly in the air, and their bodies were covered in scales for protection.

Twelve massive dragons approached the shore. Chaos erupted immediately, and the tourists on the beach ran towards the land, while those still swimming in the sea struggled to swim back to the shore.

"Monsters? How could such a species appear?" Lin Fei said, looking at the distant dragons. "Oh no, Zhou Yue and Wang Xiaoru are still in the sea!"

Lin Fei immediately got up and ran towards the sea. The crowd was rushing madly towards the shore, jostling and pushing, no one wanting to be left behind.

Lin Fei kept pushing through the crowd, struggling to move forward.

"Damn it!" Lin Fei couldn't afford to hesitate anymore. He leaped high into the air, flipped, and activated his mental power, his body flying straight towards the distant sea.

...

"Xiaoyue, are you okay?" Wang Xiaoru asked, supporting Zhou Yue, whose face was pale.

"I overexerted myself, and my leg cramped. Xiaoru, the monsters are coming, you go first! Don't worry about me," Zhou Yue struggled to say.

"Don't talk, I'll get you back to the shore quickly," Wang Xiaoru comforted Zhou Yue.

A 5-meter-long red dragon saw the two creatures in the sea and immediately broke away from the group, diving towards them.

Zhou Yue and Wang Xiaoru noticed the monster diving towards them and their faces showed despair.

They wished the monster would fly slower, but the more they wished, the faster it seemed to come.

The dragon was only about ten meters away, and they closed their eyes in despair.

The dragon felt it was about to succeed in its hunt, and a cruel smile appeared in its eyes.

At that moment, a white light flashed, and Lin Fei instantly appeared in front of the dragon.

"Looking for death," a loud shout echoed.

Lin Fei's spiritual energy burst forth, and he kicked the dragon's head while it was flying.

With a loud bang, the dragon's head exploded, and its massive body fell straight into the sea, splashing water everywhere.

After dealing with the monster, Lin Fei looked at the two people in the sea with their eyes closed and couldn't help but sigh in relief. Lin Fei had been searching for them in the sea, but couldn't find them until he heard the dragon's roar, and he quickly used spatial teleportation to reach the source of the sound.

"Are you both okay?" Lin Fei asked.

Hearing Lin Fei's voice, Zhou Yue and Wang Xiaoru thought they were hallucinating and opened their eyes.

"Lin Fei~" Zhou Yue and Wang Xiaoru called out with tearful voices, feeling the threat of death for the first time so close.

Lin Fei jumped into the sea, extended his hands, and wrapped his arms around their waists, then leaped out of the water and flew towards the shore.

Zhou Yue and Wang Xiaoru were trembling all over, tightly hugging or clinging to Lin Fei, their faces pale from the shock of the attack.

"Don't be afraid, I'm here, I'll protect you," Lin Fei said soothingly.

"Okay!" Wang Xiaoru replied.

"Lin Fei, I feel a bit cold after that scare," Zhou Yue said softly.

"Alright, I'll use fire to dry you both," Lin Fei said, and flames erupted from his body, enveloping the two soaked figures.

"Ah?" The two were startled by the flames but then calmed down. The flames enveloped their bodies but didn't harm them; they only evaporated the seawater.

The flames disappeared, and the two women felt dry and warm again, looking at Lin Fei in surprise.

"Lin Fei, you can actually fly!" Zhou Yue, relieved after escaping death, asked curiously.

Lin Fei didn't say anything.

"Lin Fei, what should we do next?" Wang Xiaoru asked.

"I'll take you to a safe place first! This place is too dangerous now," Lin Fei said, looking seriously at the distant beach.

White light flashed continuously, and Zhou Yue and Wang Xiaoru saw the scenery change. They appeared in an unfamiliar place.

This was a bus stop far from the hotel. Lin Fei released his hold on them and took a deep breath. The burden of using short-distance spatial teleportation alone and carrying two people continuously was completely different.

"Wait for me here, I'll go deal with the remaining monsters and come back for you," Lin Fei said to them.

"Don't go! Those monsters are too terrifying. What if they eat you?" Zhou Yue said, tightly grabbing Lin Fei's arm.

Wang Xiaoru didn't speak but also held onto Lin Fei's arm tightly.

"Don't worry, these monsters look scary, but they're weak. I took out the one that attacked you with one move, so you don't need to be so worried," Lin Fei said with a smile.

"Really? They're all paper tigers like you say?" the two asked doubtfully.

"Exactly! Those monsters are just loud, and they can't take a hit. Even if I can't beat them, I can always run away, and they won't be able to stop me," Lin Fei continued.

Seeing Lin Fei's determination, they had no choice but to let go.

"Be careful!" Wang Xiaoru said worriedly.

"Run if you can't win, got it? Don't be stubborn," Zhou Yue instructed.

"Relax! Wait for me here, don't wander off. I'll deal with them and we'll go home right away," Lin Fei said, and a white light flashed, and he disappeared before them.

"We need to interrogate this guy when he comes back. He has such powerful abilities and kept it from us for so long," Zhou Yue said to Wang Xiaoru.

"Right!"
