Bulma, after hearing Jing Tian's promise, left him and went to the workbench, rummaging through it noisily.
Jing Tian looked at Bulma, puzzled, as she made a mess of the workbench, and asked, "Bulma, what are you looking for?"
Without raising her head, Bulma said fiercely, "I'm looking for a tool to stamp you with, to show ownership, so those bitches won't keep coming near you!"
Jing Tian's eyes widened at her words, and he quickly jumped off the bed, not even bothering to put on his shoes as he ran to Bulma and hugged her from behind. While dragging her back to the bed, he started to sweet-talk her carefully...
Unable to resist Jing Tian's strong embrace, Bulma gave up struggling and was carried back to the bed by Jing Tian.
After resting for a while, the exhausted Bulma lifted her head and said irritably, "Let go, you idiot, you're hugging too tight, I can't breathe!"
Jing Tian loosened his arms at her words but didn't let go completely. He continued to watch Bulma's face carefully, ready to endure any beating or scolding.
After several deep breaths, Bulma looked up at Jing Tian and said, "Take me to your space first, I want to study it."
Jing Tian didn't say much and, with a thought, the two of them disappeared from the bed and entered the space.
Bulma felt a moment of dizziness, then found herself in a desolate place.
She let out a reflexive scream at the sight of the surroundings, hugging Jing Tian tightly. Once she felt a solid ground, she cautiously turned her head to look around.
Leaving Jing Tian's embrace, she held onto him with one hand and began to walk around, observing the surroundings and occasionally asking Jing Tian questions.
After more than ten minutes, Bulma opened the treasure chest Jing Tian had obtained from the pirates' den. She first had Jing Tian pour out all the treasures, then, after a brief search, she lost interest and sat directly on the treasure, saying to Jing Tian, "So, this space can grow, right?"
Jing Tian nodded and explained how it had grown from 8 cubic meters to 9,000 square meters.
Bulma nodded and then said, "You want to fill this place with the space city we've been developing to prepare for future habitation, right?"
Jing Tian nodded and said, "Yes, I once brought animals from your world to my world for an experiment. The animals aged rapidly and turned to ashes. I guess it's due to the time difference between worlds. So, I want to develop this place in case we need to bring people from different worlds in the future."
Bulma's expression turned fierce at his words, "So, you've been planning to turn this place into your harem all along..."
"No, no, really not!" Jing Tian quickly denied, seeing Bulma's skeptical face. He explained, "I want to develop this place properly and recruit scientists from other worlds to conduct research here."
Bulma, with a distrustful look, said, "Liar, my world has scientists too. Why not keep them in my world instead of here?"
Jing Tian, helpless, said, "Each world is different. I haven't experimented yet, and I'm afraid that if something like the animals happens, it would be disastrous. Also, I don't know how long I'll live. I can't bear to see you grow old, so I need to prepare for your immortality."
"Immortality?" Bulma's interest was piqued, and she looked at Jing Tian eagerly.
"Yes, there are several ways to achieve immortality without any drawbacks, such as altering genes or practicing cultivation techniques. But we need to research to achieve the desired effects. We're not experts in genetics or cell biology, and the cultivation techniques might not be applicable in different worlds. So, I want to develop this place as a research and living base to overcome these challenges."
"Ah, I see. Fine, I'll forgive you," Bulma said, showing her magnanimity.
Jing Tian breathed a sigh of relief, seeing that he had finally calmed her down.
"Wait, that's not right," Bulma said, as if remembering something. "Can't we just wish for immortality with the Dragon Balls? You almost tricked me!"
Jing Tian, caught between laughter and tears, had to explain further. Immortality in the Dragon Ball world might not work in this space, and some methods of immortality have limitations. After a long explanation, he finally convinced Bulma to stop nitpicking.
After a while, the now calmed Bulma said, "Since that's the case, let's go back and continue researching the space city. I want to see how it will develop, and this world is too small. You should find a way to expand it further."
Jing Tian nodded and said, "I already have some ideas about that. I was planning to experiment with it anyway."
Bulma nodded and said, "Let's go back then. Oh, and take those treasures with us. If we follow your plan, the funds from my family might not be enough."
"Okay," Jing Tian agreed. With a thought, the scattered treasures flew back into the chest, and he took Bulma back to the Dragon Ball world.
Back in the room, Bulma went to the vanity to fix her makeup, which had been messed up from crying, and said to Jing Tian, "Hurry up and get ready. We need to find Dad. I want to redesign the space city plans. We need to add more features since it's not just for leisure and living anymore."
After a short while, the two, now ready, held hands and walked to Dr. Brief's lab. This time, Bulma's grip was especially tight...
Feeling the strength in her grip, Jing Tian felt a bit heartbroken but didn't want to say anything that might upset Bulma's newly calmed mood. He reminded himself to pay more attention to Bulma and help her overcome this shadow.
When they reached the first floor, Bulma suddenly stopped and asked Jing Tian curiously, "How do you communicate in different worlds? Do you have to learn the local language every time?"
Jing Tian, thinking that people from the fantasy world couldn't come to his world, concealed the reason for the creation of the fantasy world and said, "It's fine. The main languages in the worlds I plan to visit are English, Japanese, and Chinese."
Bulma repeated the words "English," "Japanese," and "Chinese" with a strange accent and said to Jing Tian, "Teach me if you have time. I might need to communicate with people from other worlds you bring to the space."
"Sure," Jing Tian was deeply moved by Bulma's thoughtfulness.
After their conversation, they arrived at Dr. Brief's lab. Seeing the doctor still working on the virtual screen, Bulma and Jing Tian approached and began explaining the changes to the space city's design and discussing it with Dr. Brief...
