Chapter 4

Feeling his stomach protest, Jing Tian opened the fridge and took out a bag of instant noodles. After soaking them, he realized his phone was with Bao Shihong when he checked his pockets. He picked up the landline, dialed the number, and only relaxed when he heard the call connect. Who knew if the phone had been disconnected? He hadn't used it for a long time, but fortunately, it hadn't been.

"Hello," came the voice of the fat director on the other end.

"Hey, it's me, Jing Tian. Are you busy?"

"Got something, Jing Tian? What can I do for you? Or are you planning to fulfill your promise of a big meal today? We can put it in writing with a red fingerprint seal."

You damn it! Jing Tian's head was filled with black lines as he recalled the scene in the hospital where the fat man had held his hand and pressed it onto a blank A4 paper...

"Fat Brother, we can talk about the big meal later. By the way, you have a lot of connections. Can you help me find something?"

"Find something? What? Tell me more."

"Here's the thing. My relative's child wants a set of genuine 'Dragon Ball' animation DVDs and manga books. I also need a genuine movie DVD of 'Chronicle' to give as a gift. You know, all my stuff is pirated, hehe. I thought you could definitely get the genuine ones, so I'm bothering you. Oh, and they need to be in original Japanese and English. If you can get this done, Fat Brother, I'll go wherever you want, and I'll cover all the expenses."

"'Dragon Ball'? 'Chronicle'? Alright, I'll look into it. Do you need it urgently?"

"Not really, just before I go to work. Thanks for the trouble. I need to go out and buy a new phone, so I'll hang up. Call me if you have any news."

"Alright, I was wondering why the call was from a landline. Wait for my call."

After hanging up, Jing Tian changed his clothes, put away the jade, and headed straight to the mobile phone sales center. He bought a phone, then went to the bank and deposited 10,000 yuan into his online bank account. He then took a taxi to the job market. At a copy shop, he printed out a few large posters: 'Hiring English Tutor, must be able to communicate fluently in English, 100 yuan per hour, at least 10 hours per week, 2000 yuan bonus if successful within three months.' He then started recruiting at the entrance of the job market, drawing the attention of the security guards.

After interviewing several people, he finally hired a top student, unfortunately, a male college student. Jing Tian felt depressed, "Damn it, where are the pretty female tutors? Can we still have fun?"

Over the next two months, with the help of the top student tutor, Jing Tian managed to勉强能进行日常英语对话了。

看着日历，8月15号，虽然不是阴历，但这个日子还是很好记的。毕竟这次旅行意义重大。如果成功，那么以后的生活将发生翻天覆地的变化。

这个时刻即将来临，景添心里有些忐忑。他暗暗给自己打气，开始准备起来。

换上前段时间网购来的美国警察制服、鞋子和帽子，拿上强光手电筒。将同样网购来的玩具左轮手枪插进枪套，系在腰间。拿起胖主任前段时间送来的《超能失控》光盘，景添毅然进入了空间。

恍惚过后，看着空中慢慢消散的光盘，景添几乎可以听见自己的心跳声。

在某种莫名的指引下，景添仔细感受着《超能失控》世界慢慢膨胀到不明大小，直到不再变化。深吸一口气，眼中闪过一丝坚定，景添将思维靠近了新形成的世界。

“啵”的一声，仿佛突破了什么似的，景添的思维再次进入了电影世界中。

稳定了下心神，景添开始以上帝视角观察起来。看到主角三人后，景添也轻易发现了树林中的那块平地和地洞。

看着山德鲁三人开始向地洞方向走去，景添赶紧把思维集中在地洞旁边土坡上的一棵树后。

感受着自己的视线越来越近，终于，身体出现在了树旁边。深吸两口气压下心中的激动，景添开始等待。等到山德鲁的表哥麦特呼喊后面的两人时，景添打开强光手电筒从树后走了出来。

“嘿，男孩们，你们不能靠近那里。”景添站在坡上大声说道。

被吓了一跳的麦特回头一看，发现是一个警察，不禁有些奇怪。看了看正在走过来的山德鲁和史蒂夫，麦特对景添说：“嗨，你好先生，我们只是发现了这个洞口，没干别的。”

说完后，觉得自己语气有些弱的麦特为了在表弟和好友面前多挣些面子，继而说道：“先生这里发生了什么吗？只是个地洞而已，用不着把警力浪费在这上面吧？”

“这里地基塌陷压到了下面的瓦斯管道，如果你们不想中毒进医院或者不小心引发一场爆炸的话，我劝你们还是远离这里的好。”景添一听就明白了麦特的小心思，不过他也没多理会，只要把他们忽悠走就是了。

听到“爆炸”这个词，麦特像炸了毛的猫一样喊道“OH SHIT！”迅速远离了洞口，而马上就要走到近前的山德鲁和史蒂夫也像见了鬼似的迅速向后退去。

“好了小伙子们，快点回家吧，这里不是探险的好地方，没见到我都不敢靠近吗。你们这个时间应该在家里听家人的唠叨做功课或者应该在和漂亮妹子滚床单，快走吧，这里马上就要封锁了，当然如果你们不想惹麻烦的话。”

“哈哈”三人听着景添的话不禁一乐，史蒂夫更是嘻嘻哈哈地对景添说：“警察先生，我喜欢你的话，哈哈，我记住你的脸了，以后我从政的话一定提拔你哈哈。”

“是的，我也喜欢你的话，先生，如果下次碰到你的话我一定邀请你参加我们的派对。”麦特也在一边帮腔。

只有山德鲁这个小胆子什么也没说，迅速招呼两人转身离开。

看着离开的三人，特别是看到史蒂夫频频回头看向地洞，景添心思一转：“看来如果按原剧情史蒂夫超能力最强大还是有些依据的，从他离开时频频的回头就能看出他准是感应到了什么，精神力明显高于其他两人。得到超能力后也是锻炼的最勤快，只是可惜死的太憋屈了。嗯，今天抢了你们的机缘也间接救了你们一命，因果已了，我就不客气了嘿嘿……”
