Han Fei became famous.

A comedian became famous by playing a heroic role in a thriller.

His sudden rise to fame caught even himself off guard.

"Where is Han Fei?"

When Han Fei appeared at the window, the reporters downstairs immediately recognized him. Some were already filming with their phones, while others directly entered the shooting site.

To prevent the reporters from damaging the set, Director Jiang quickly left the apartment building with Han Fei and went to an open area outside.

"Everyone, ask your questions one by one, don't rush."

Director Jiang and the production staff maintained order. After Han Fei came downstairs, he first glanced outside the residential area, then ignored the reporters and headed straight for the street.

"Quick! Follow him!"

The reporters and some self-media friends, holding various equipment, filmed Han Fei, who paid no attention to them. He passed through the crowd and approached the families of the victims.

"Old man, the avenger of your loved one..."

Just as Han Fei approached, before he could finish his words, his arms were tightly grabbed by the old man.

After ten years of waiting, the real culprit was finally caught.

At that moment, the old man's eyes were bloodshot. He couldn't speak, just holding onto Han Fei, feeling as if he could see his own child in Han Fei.

"Thank you, Han Fei. We have all seen the police announcement." The sister of Gu Ye, the parents of Cui Tianci, and the brother of Xiao Qing, all the families of the victims, gathered around.

Their gratitude moved Han Fei. Perhaps the lonely spirits in the haunted house hadn't dissipated because there were still people in the world who remembered them.

Humans are indeed complex beings. Some take pleasure in the torture and murder of their kind, while others will do anything to avenge their loved ones for ten years.

Many of the victims' families were in tears. Only they knew the immense pressure and pain they had endured over the past decade.

Han Fei didn't know how to comfort everyone. Standing in the crowd, his mind wandered to the ghosts in the apartment building.

"If I could bring them out of the game and let them see their families..."

A thought quietly emerged, like a seed planted in Han Fei's heart. He hadn't yet realized his own change, just silently experiencing everything.

Han Fei didn't accept the gifts from the victims' families, only taking a banner.

When the reporters surrounded him with questions, he didn't take credit but attributed most of the credit to the police and Meng Changxi.

He credited the police because they played a crucial role, and he credited Meng Changxi because Han Fei felt that Meng Changxi had suffered too much and deserved compensation.

Looking at the flashing lights and cameras, Han Fei felt dizzy; he still wasn't used to this.

"Ladies and gentlemen, we are currently filming the movie. We can't properly conduct interviews right now. After the movie is released, you will have plenty of opportunities to ask questions."

Han Fei found an excuse to escape and hurried back into the apartment building.

Wiping the sweat from his forehead, Han Fei noticed that Sister Long and Director Jiang were smiling at him.

"Do you have something to say?"

"We just didn't expect that such a cool and professional actor like you would have such a cute side." Director Jiang couldn't help but laugh: "Han Fei, you will gradually get used to this."

"The case has gained a lot of attention, and now we don't even need to buy trending topics." Sister Long held her phone: "Quickly remove the previously shot promotional materials and posters, and replace them with ones featuring Han Fei as the main character. Don't delay, it must be done today."

Sister Long left satisfied, and Director Jiang took Han Fei to the second floor: "Now, no one will doubt your ability to be the lead. Once you win the audience with your acting, your future will be limitless."

Director Jiang had Han Fei get some makeup done. Once all the staff were in place, he first shot a short video of Han Fei, then had him take a movie poster.

In the alternating light and shadow, Meng Chang'an and Meng Changxi stood back to back.

Meng Changxi, with half his face disfigured, stood in the shadows, enduring pain and being treated as a monster by everyone. Yet, in the deepest despair, he still clung to a glimmer of hope in his heart.

Behind Meng Changxi, the handsome Meng Chang'an stood in the sunlight, enjoying the respect and praise of the crowd, but his face bore the most chilling smile.

Twin flowers, blooming in the deepest darkness.

The script was almost finalized, and Han Fei was eager to get home and play the game. After the shoot, he declined the invitation to eat with everyone and hurried back to his own home.

After a busy day, even with his improved physical condition, he was still exhausted.

He ate something quickly and lay down on the bed.

"Today was indeed a memorable day for me; my dream suddenly came true."

Opening his phone, Han Fei saw various reports online. Finally, he opened his social media.

In just one afternoon, without any promotion, his followers increased significantly.

Perhaps because he hadn't paid to upgrade his account, some people thought he was a fake account and left various comments. However, the Shanghai police directly confirmed that this was indeed Han Fei.

The comments then took a more refined turn, with the entire comment section discussing the human jigsaw case. Those who didn't know might think it was an internal police communication platform.

"Which actor has a comment section full of people trying to solve the murder case?"

Looking at the various system-blocked images in the comment section, Han Fei thought it would be better to post a status update, stating that he was an actor.

He opened his phone's photo album, looking for some interesting photos to post, but after a long search, he admitted that he was usually a very boring person.

Just as Han Fei was about to close the photo album, his eyes suddenly fell on a very ordinary photo. In the photo, he was wearing a game helmet and lying in bed.

At first, Han Fei didn't feel anything, but just a second later, his blood rushed, and his hair stood on end!

"It's impossible!"

He sat up from the bed and grabbed a fruit knife from the table, looking around his room with caution.

The photo was taken on the second night after he obtained the game helmet. He was very sure that he was alone that night, but if he was alone, who took a photo of him playing the game?

"Someone has been in my house! When I logged into the game for the second time!"

Holding the fruit knife, Han Fei turned on all the lights in the house and checked every corner.

"There's no one in the house."

Standing in the center of the living room, Han Fei stared at the photo, and slowly he noticed something even stranger.

In the photo, it seemed that a dark shadow was crawling into the game helmet.
