There are two personality that use wife in this novel but the pronunciation on the word is different.

One use 媳妇 xífù usually used to call young married woman. Another personality used 老婆Lǎopó this one is normally used to call wife but in an informal way. So I will use the original Chinese word for xífù to differentiate between the two personality.
